Wonderful, kind, and helpful staff. Only had a salad here but was very delicious! Portions were massive for this salad

Eggs Benedict with bacon & Red Velvet Pancakes with side of fresh fruit

Very cute 'instagramable' cafe. Servers spoke excellent english and the service was very good. Food was Delicious and definitely worth the money. We didn't book a table but it was fairly busy when we were leaving so i'd recommend you reserve a table.

Really beautiful cafe! The decor and the aesthetics of the whole place were really well done. This was recommended to us by a friend while we were visiting Amsterdam and the food looked amazing. I always get eggs Benedict no matter where I go and ordered here as well. The bacon was over cooked and there was way too much lettuce. As a North American, we don't typically put lettuce on our eggs Benny so it's likely I just wasn't used to the flavour. I just felt like I was getting a mouth full of lettuce with every bite when I wanted to taste the eggs and bacon. My friends who got toasts felt the same, there was a bit too much vegetable for the one slice of bread. However, I had one friend who got the red velvet pancakes and this was by far the best meal! They weren't too sweet, despite looking it and the cream that was paired with it was amazing. Overall, I think this is a really cute place for brunch in terms of atmosphere and vibes. I would definitely recommend getting one of the sweet breakfasts!!

We came here on an early Sunday morning but it got packed pretty quickly. I'd recommend making a reservation if you want to come on the weekends. It's a pretty small restaurant. We ordered the iced cappuccino and latte to drink. The iced cappuccino tasted almost like a chocolate milkshake which was interesting. For food, we got the Healthy Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, and Avocado Smash. The presentation is very pretty for all of the food and the decor of the restaurant is super cute as well. The Healthy Pancakes and fresh fruit were pretty good. They were banana pancakes but it tasted a little too sweet to me. Great fruit variety though. The scrambled eggs and avocado smash tasted pretty bland. Even though these two plates looked really good, it was pretty disappointing in the end.

Their food is dying for!!! Appealing presentation plus great taste plus super healthy!!(well depends on what you order...I saw some tables ordered milkshakes!! looks really good!!) The only problem might be that you may not have a place to sitThey are very busy

Entrance blocked by a sign inviting customers to wait in the cold

What a bad customer experience/service! You arrive to the door and there is a sign that ask you to wait outside. I went with a friend and we decided to enter (there was a free table) and we were not willing to wait in the cold... The waiter let us wait a bit and then we asked her for a table for 2, she said, let me check! Just right after that she said the waiting it's outside... I didn't get it 1- there was a table free and the place is super small 2- why you want to upset your potential customers being so rude? Conclusion ... I'll never come back and I would never recommend a place like that. They need to learn how to treat people first !

Food was absolutely amazing! The portion sizes were enormous!! Not only didnt taste delicious, it was also presented beautifully. So much colour and taste. We were extremely full after this, but we couldn't let good food go to waste. We ate it all and rolled out of there haha Staff were also extremely friendly and tentative. This was my favourite place to eat in Amsterdam. Thank you! :)

Corner bakery is an adorable cafe to enjoy a nice weekend brunch. As it is a smaller venue, it can get full very quickly so your best bet is to make a reservation if you plan on a weekend visit. The menu has a great variety of sweet and savory options from the loaded milkshakes to smoked salmon sandwiches, and it is all guaranteed to hit the spot especially after a long night

    Acai bowl

Went here for breakfast and ordered an acai bowl which was good. I also had the fresh ginger tea. The tea wasn't anything special. When the seat you, you scan a qr code and place your order you also have the option to pay right away so there's no waiting for a server to come take your order and bring you your cheque. The vibe is nice. While the acai bowl was delicious, I couldn't help looking around at the food around me. It looked so good. And it is plated very nicely. I'll definitely go back soon to try the other dishes.

    Yogurt with granola and fruit

On our fourth morning in Amsterdam we headed to the Corner Bakery which the Sir Albert hotel also suggested. It's a colorful spot, full of patrons at each passing. I was in a healthy mood so I ordered yogurt with fruit and granola. My partner had the French toast and fruit. Ordering healthy wasn't helped when a worker started passing out complimentary pudding pops, which I, of course, accepted and ate. The service was a little slow, but we were in no rush. The portions were so generous I had trouble finishing. They say American restaurants have large portions, but I fear this practice may have spread across the pond. Corner Bakery is a good choice for a healthy breakfast if you ignore the free gifts. The seating is a little tight and uncomfortable. I would suggest sitting outside if possible.

Very solid option for breakfast in Amsterdam. My friend and I stopped here for our final meal before heading to the airport, and overall, we were quite satisfied with the experience. I got a cappuccino, she got a latte. Both were good. Then, I got the basic smashed avocado toast, my friend added poached eggs to hers. They were also adorned with tomato and a cool slice of cucumber, with a perfectly thin coat of cream cheese underneath. Great meal, and the owner/manager (unsure exactly who she was, but she seemed to be in charge) was super nice and hospitable.

A must if you're in Amsterdam. Such a great little restaurant. Really good ambiance and all together great vibes. I went here with 2 of my friends and we all loved it. One of my friends ordered a mango bowl (similar to an acai bowl) and yass!! It was so delicious. I almost wanted to take it for my own. I ordered a sandwich (I forget the name) but holy moley. I was gonna order the eggs Benedict but the waitress said the sandwich was better. I was not disappointed and almost licked my plate clean. My other friend just got a plain breakfast but really enjoyed it as well. All really healthy and delicious food but it can be pricey, in a cute area!

Today I went to Corner Bakery today I must say that I really liked it! The experience was just very good. The place just looks very cute. When walking by you might think that it is small but there is a basement with a lot of seats so there are plenty of seats. The interior is cute and simple, also in the basement, where there is also a little play-corner for kids. The staff was very, very friendly. Smiling, helpful, sweet and quick. When we came in we saw the cakes and pastries and we knew that we were going to order something sweet here! So we did not try the sandwiches or salads, so unfortunately I cant tell you about that. I had a matcha latte (2,75), which was nice. ( I love matcha lattes! Always love it when a place has them on the menu) My boyfriend ordered a juice which seemed a bit expensive on the menu (4,75) but came in a bottle, tasted great and was enough for 2 big glasses so it was fine. We shared a piece of the Oreo cake (3,50) which tasted delicious! Loved it! Very well baked. When I told the woman behind the counter that I loved the cake she also let me taste the chocolate cheesecake which was amazing. So yummy! The have very nice options for cakes like red velvet, cookie dough cake bars, apple pie (smelled great!!) and more. I like how they have not only standard pies like apple pie and chocolate pie but more interesting ones like Oreo pie as well. They do their baking very well! I saw their reviews on yelp are not that high but I wonder if those people have tried the pies? Maybe their sandwiches are not special, I don't know about that since i have not tried them, but their sweets are great. try it! :)

These are the best croissants in Amsterdam. They taste like French ones! Crunchy outside, moist buttery inside

We wanted to find somewhere to eat within a short walk of the Museumplein as we had 1:15 p.m…read more tickets for the Rijksmuseum. My wife located this place and we met up with our daughter there after she dropped off her rented bike nearby. If you walk to the far end of the park from the Rijksmuseum and turn left at the street that borders the park there, the restaurant is about 2 blocks along there. You enter into a small waiting area and proceed between 2 counters. The best way I can describe the process is that it was like an ice cream shop in the U.S. They had glass displays showing what was available for meals - varieties of pasta, etc. You could select from those, or I think they had salads also. You place your order and then grab a table. A server will bring the food out when it is ready. Seating was a bit limited, so there could be a wait for a table. We arrived just before they got busy, though. They have about 5 or 6 small tables on the ground floor. If those are full, a fallback option is to ascend the spiral stairs up to a low-ceilinged loft. This is where we ate. The chairs here were fine but the tables were quite small - almost like a high coffee table. It wasn't hard to eat off these, just a bit different than usual. Also, if you are much over 6 feet tall, the ceilings will require caution. They can probably accommodate another 3 - 4 small parties up there. Everyone liked their food, which definitely had that 'prepared fresh' vibe. I got the pasta and had no trouble finishing it. I'd definitely consider eating here again were I back in the area.

Mostly semi Italian deli items. I had ravioli, stuffed mushroom, roasted veggies, rocket and generous parmigiana sprinkling. They have tables so we could eat there. Small place, hard working, cool looking deserts (skipped because we had stuff back at the hotel.). I think they may have had table service upstairs, call and ask if that's your requirement. Lovely neighborhood small deli.

Since we already had made plans to eat elsewhere, we made sure to come back before we left the city. It's only five minutes from my hotel anyways! Come to find out, the line wasn't as huge as it would seem. They were holding people outside because the inside was actually ridiculously warm. So they were holding people outside to minimize the amount of people inside. The wait was actually less than 10 minutes. The first thing I noted was...wow, everything is so cheap here! I'm sure that's a partially a function of them basically being cash only (no Visa, MasterCard, American Express accepted, so I don't know what would be accepted), but also because it's Amsterdam and everything is way cheaper here in general. Ordered the Cortona (€4.90), Calzone Margherita (€2.80), Pizza with Grilled Vegetables (€2.80), Ricotta Cannoli (€2.80), and a Large Classic Tiramisu (€2.80). Goes without saying that everything was fire. That Cortona sandwich was so well-made and tasty! If I was ordering something like this back in the U.S., it would easily be 3x the price. Staff here are super friendly! They keep the line churning real quickly despite the high demand. And despite how many orders they take in, they move very quickly. I have honestly no clue how I have never come here before considering the amount of times I have been to Amsterdam. It's definitely going to be one of those spots that I will keep coming back to, that's for sure.
