I feel very much at home because we share very similar tastes in home decor. It feels very cozy as soon as I enter this bars. I believe we had two wonderful bartenders who took our order and quickly brought back out drinks. Great service, dimly but warmly lit (which I love to help me avoid migraine triggers), lots of conversation and chattering going on around us. Also, PINBALL! My partner and I spent a decent chunk of change having all the fun. You should really go. And experience it all!

The place had all street parking taken but as I drove around the block I found that they have parking in the rear. The bar tender was friendly with everyone and talked to the regulars. I can't tell if they have any food and I didn't notice a pizza oven but they have chips and candy. I hate to complain about service but the bar tender couldn't even make a Gin Rickey after I told him how to make one, the bar has no lime juice which amazes me because it's only happened a few times to me. This is a dive bar for sure but to not have lime juice is ridiculous.

It was quiet inside as we were there on a Sunday afternoon, but the bartender was cool and friendly. They even had a reasonably drinkable wine which was both unexpected and welcome. Two thumbs up.

Bartenders are hit and miss, as with any Brady Street establishment. Some are great and friendly, others ignore you unless they know you. The crowd can get quite boisterous and cross some lines that might cause discomfort (i.e. some regulars can get handsy or pop off with off-color statements, not jokes, statements). Drinks are on par pricewise, but they have an eclectic selection of tappers (although like most of Brady, Third Space has a strong presence). All that being said, I don't mind Malone's.

My service was great from the woman working the bar. They couldn't even make a proper Gin Rickey because they had no lime juice and I got the last lime wedge and now we are out of limes. It is one of those places where everyone is a regular and knows each other. So, when you walk expect to get the "once over" from the locals. They have a pool table, enclosed smoking patio (with no ventilation), a few gaming machines and the coolest hand dryers in the bathroom! (You are just going to have to go and see for your self!) Nice enough place to stop in when you are just looking to hang out and drink for cheap!
