My friend however really wanted to go do something and they were having a themed cocktail event that popped up so we decided why not and plus she had always wanted to try a dirty martini. Jojo's is a great place to have some fun drinks. I stopped in with my husband on a Monday night. Not really a night that many people go out but we both had a long day and wanted to stop somewhere for a drink. It has a certain charm to it, as mainly black furniture and bar and a large martini mural painted on the wall. It is clear that it has been well loved through the years, as you get closer to a table or a bar stool you can see the wear and mysterious stains and discoloration. One of the great things about Jojo's in the extensive martini menu. From your classic dirty martini to inventive concoctions with a variety of flavors. I tried the gummy bear and the dreamsicle. I thought the drinks were good and they filled them to the rim! Glad we stopped in during happy hour, the drinks range from $12-14. They do have some pizzas you can order too, a couple different options. They aren't anything special, probably a frozen pizza. Jojo's is a unique place where you can see a variety of people. I haven't been in a while but on Sundays from 6-8p it's $5 martini night and it is definitely worth it. The service is great. They have two people working the bar and someone coming around to take orders. They play a variety of music which is great. Far as food is concerned they serve frozen pizza (I believe). It was a bit smaller than expected and not that many people there (why? I don't know because the drinks were great!!). My friend and I both had 3 drinks a piece. I had a raspberry lemon drop 8/10, key lime pietini 7/10, and a blue raspberry martini, I forget the name but 10/10. All of my drinks were on the sour side which was my fav. Typically martinis are strong with the strong taste of alcohol and though I couldn't taste I most definitely felt it. So if you like fruity sweet and sour drinks this is the right place!! My friend had a strawberry lemon drop, gummy beartini, and a dragon fruit martini. She also enjoyed her drinks. I also tasted her drinks and they were Just as good! Besides the drinks the music was great, all your favorite/classic y2k pop, rap, and r&b songs which I loved because I don't know any new songs or artists so I was able to sing along with 95% of the songs! The bartender was very attentive as he was working by himself and it got quite busy around 11 or so. No one was left without a drink nor empty glass. Definitely a 10/10 place to try! Remember Jojo's? That's what my friend said to me after we finished dinner and we were looking for a place to keep talking and have a drink. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. I visited a few times a long time ago and it was just as relaxed and fun as before. The waitresses were very attentive and kind. I had a dirty martini and my friend had the espresso martini. We both enjoyed our drinks. Order 1 or 2 and you're good for the night! They had music playing and the Bucks game on, but we could still hold a conversation. We love going to JoJo's martini lounge. This has become one of our regular spots to go to after a long shift at work - they are open until 2am. I love trying all the different martinis on the menu, there are so many! They are all very good and will satisfy whatever you are in the mood for. They have a small food menu that you can oder from the restaurant next door when you're hungry, as well as a pizza oven. The bartenders are also very nice. Love the atmosphere, great music every night. Last night we tried the sidecar martini, it was delicious! It would be cool if they had a punch card or a way to keep track of the martinis youve tried because there are so many. My favorite is the Godfather, I order it everytime as a starter. Johnny has the greatest customer service, I live in Houston so only get to visit when I am in town, but he has remembered me as a patron and has a drink ready. Martinis are the drink - although there is way more vodka than gin. Lots of fruity flavors make Jo-Jo's the ideal chick place. Throw I the 90's musical hit parade (Deee-Lite's Groove Is In the Heart plays as I write) and you a recipe for estrogen overload. Which is a complete contrast to the sports playing on the 4 screens all night all the time. So while atmospherically Jo-Jo's is stuck in a chick flick caricature, the service and drinks are actually very good. The clientele is generally couples, groups and the occasional guy (read: me). I thought this place was not that great. They have a huge selection of martinis but the ones I tried were really weak. The prices were not cheaper to make up for it either. My friend had three that night! I feel like after three martinis, you should be on the floor. Their huge menu seems gimmicky and the pricing for the mainly juice drinks is outrageous. One reviewer mentioned that it smelled like cigarettes but I did not find that to be the case. They have two flat screen TVs above the bar that were showing a game. There is also another huge screen above the windows playing music videos. The place started to fill up around 10:00/10:30. Jojo's is quite the hip bar for a strip mall location! It's not your average sports bar or a large chain. The place is small, quaint & classy. I particularly like the house / techno videos shown on a 10' screen. They always seem to play my favorites. There are a number of large / magnum bottles of alcohol perched around the bar. FYI: they are glass & full, the real thing. So cool, the buyer offered to order me the magnum of Jagermeister bottle since I am a Jaeger fan. The prices are excellent & the happy hour is one of the best around. Try the cheeseburger pizza if your hungry, it's pretty darn good. The bartenders & waitresses are extremely attentive & friendly. They never leave me waiting for my next drink. Great place to go late night on Sunday. While most bars close early, Jojo's pulls an all nighter till 2am. read more

I was pretty excited about visiting this martini bar after learning that their menu included more than 90 'tinis. Sadly, this "lounge" is experiencing a pretty serious identity crisis. It combines the dark seediness and nasty cigarette odor of your average dive bar with a few large flat-screen TVs and the lame music of a pseudo sports bar. We were at World of Beer and decided that we wanted to go next door for another drink. We were intercepted by an employee or the owner. When I attempted to open the door he continued to look at me. JoJo's is what it is. I've only ever been here early on Monday nights (good specials on Monday nights!), usually only 2 or three other groups here, which is what I expect on a Monday night. Some review have complained about the service, but I've always had great, friendly, and attentive service, and also have never noticed the smells that older reviews mention. I always enjoy looking over there huge, huge martini menu. One night we watched the Olympics on tv, and other nights they have had music videos playing. As for the martinis, yes, they are weak and sugary, but sometimes one is in the mood for pretty drinks that go down easy. While it's not usually my first choice when it comes to drinking, if I am in the mood for a martini and not in the mood to drive all the way downtown, JoJo's is fine. read more

JoJo's is one of my favorite places to go after work for happy hour! It's not your run-of-the-mill sports bar, or a huge chain. The place is small and quaint; the environment is classy. The prices are excellent (one of the best happy hours in town) and the drinks are SO GOOD. The bartenders are extremely attentive - they will usually recognize you even if you've only been there once or twice - and they always have a kind demeanor. On a clear evening there is a beautiful view of the sunset over Hwy 100. While I've never tried any food here, they put out pretzels or another snack item to munch on. Not a real "martini" drinker? Not a problem. They have fun, fruity martinis as well as beer and mixed drinks. Visited last night with a girlfriend. Clean, organized, decent atmosphere. Walked in to 90's music (which was awesome--songs people recognize and easy going--good to allow conversation), and within 15 minutes whomever was in charge changed it to rap and aggressive hip hop. Not a good move, IMO. Our server was nice. I am giving it only one star because nothing about the atmosphere or service wowed me enough to detract from the fact that the drinks are little more than slightly alcoholic juice. Martinis are supposed to be a clean, refreshing and mostly alcohol (that's why traditional martini glasses are small). These are weak mixed drinks which, while they may be tasty, are NOT worth the price. My friend and I each had two martinis, and at $10 or more a pop, we decided against throwing another $20 or more down the juice hole. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. read more

I have to say that the exterior of the building does no justice to how neat the inside is. There is no smell to the place as early reviews stated, I have to assume since the smoking ban this made the difference. In regards to the drinks I had the dirty martini and a gin one. They definitely had some kick and I enjoyed the blu cheese olive that came with it. My wife had a chocolate martini and she said it tasted weak but soon the potency kicked in. Service was really great but from a personal standard and a classy standard I wish they would be a little more disciplined with the uniforms the employees wear. Coming from the service industry I prefer not to see tattoos. All in all it is great place to visit. read more
