I expected to love this place more than I did after reading all the stellar reviews and hearing that people wait for 2+ hours for a table. We had skipped lunch, so arrived at 4pm to try to avoid the Friday night crowd. They weren't busy at all and in fact, sat my husband and I at a 6 top which was kind of odd since there were 2 tops available, but not being crowded in was nice. The decor is cute-I especially like the big dumpling statue in the entry. The server was very friendly and brought us drinks immediately. They use plain metal cups that kind of look like the cups milkshakes are made in. We ordered a couple of dim sum items and a side of edamame. Everything was good, but I didn't seem to like it as well as others have.

On recommendation of family we tried the Corner Dumpling House for dinner on a Friday night. The wait time for no reservation was about 30min and well worth the wait. Service was excellent (Tommy) and the speed of kitchen was FAST! The quality of the pork soup dumplings and spicy Beef bun appetizers were excellent. We finished with Beef and Scallions and Chicken Mei Fun which were equally delicious. The bill was fair as the portions were huge and we will multiple meals from our order. I will be back!

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while. I don't live near by but took advantage of my doctor appointment in the area. The service was fast and friendly. The menu was overwhelming. I'm just discovering dumplings and there are so many variations. Plus there are a bunch of other items. I had pork pan fried dumplings and beef lo mein. So much food , I knew immediately I would need 2 boxes. The lo mein was good, I won't say my favorite, there was not enough flavor. The dumplings were delicious, excellent and I'd drive just for those. I can't wait to to try more dumplings. The space is nice but I think some seating is quite tight. Also the day I visited the floor was very slippery. I heard another server mention that it was due to the rain outside. It really was hazardous.

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about this place! It truly is one my top five places to eat in the area, and I will recommend it to everyone! We got a few small (but not really small!) plates to share as well as some dumplings! They were out of some things, but our server Jenny gave us some recommendation and I'm glad she did! The green beans were literally my favorite! You can't go wrong with any of the dumplings on the menu, but I do think the Shanghai Shumai was the best! Next time I go, I will try one of the dry pots because those looked like they'd be phenomenal! The restaurant itself is so cute! And I like how they have the window where you can watch the chefs make the dumplings by hand. I think they are quite proud of their craft, and rightfully so! Keep in mind that you will probably have to wait, so get there earlier than you expect to eat. I promise though, the wait is 100% worth it!

Great atmosphere and dumplings. It does have a wait and no reservations, but worth it. Also love the green beans. It's really cool to see them making the dumplings and steaming them.

Incredible. I've been on a really impressionable kick where if someone says a type of food to me I immediately crave it. We have friends that said they got dim sum, so I was determined to find a great dim sum place near where we were staying. This place is it. We got all sorts dumplings. Everything we tried was amazing. Our favorite one that I am still dreaming about and drooling over are the pork wontons in chili oil. I have zero self control around a good chili oil/crisp, and this dish absolutely delivered. That being said, order whatever speaks to you because I promise it is going to be amazing. We came on a Saturday night relatively late (for us!) and it took a little while for us to get a table. We're so glad we waited! The locale is really cool on the inside, with some views into the kitchen and all the hard work going on in there. The parking situation is a non-issue with plenty of spots available in the area. The staff was super cool and super helpful with recommendations. If we lived nearby we would be wearing this place out! Absolutely come try if you haven't

Wontons in chili oil - chef's kiss!!

So I went for lunch today & was able to get in. After some researching, I went with the drunken noodles with beef & wontons in chili oil. The entree came out - literally - 6 minutes after I ordered, big portion. The wontons came out a few minutes after that & holy cow! These are a must get if you go but be careful - they have a slow heat that builds. My only knock for -1 star was the reception I got from the hostesses when I walked in was colder than a kiss from the in-laws. They literally looked annoyed to take me to a table & there were 3 working. No greeting, no how many, just grabbed a menu & presumed I was to follow. I'm glad I was able to get in & taste what the hype was. I'd hit it...again.

Highly recommend for soup dumplings and Szechuan food. The restaurant was busy on a Monday night and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. No complaints about the service. The food came out quick for how busy it was. All our food came out at once, so we ran out of space on the table (not a big deal). Next time we'll order a few dishes at a time. We ordered a few soup dumplings, which were absolutely delicious. The shanghai shumai was good, but not what we were expecting as it was primarily sticky rice with a little bit of ground pork mixed in. The sichuan crispy fillet was a favorite of ours with the perfect of amount of spice. The yang chow fried rice and west lake beef soup were good, but not something I would order again.

I stopped in here recently for a takeout lunch after a fellow Yelper gave them high recommendations. Upon stepping inside I wish I had chosen to dine in, and I will next time! The atmosphere was like I was transported to another world and I am here for it! Anyways I ordered the vegetable dumplings, which were generously filled and flavorful. I also got the drunken beef noodles. I was impressed with the flavor and the quality of the beef, although I wish it had just a bit more spice to it. Of course I had to try the pineapple fried rice which was great, and not too greasy. Finally I tried the mango lychee fruit tea with mango boba and I loved it. If I had not had leftovers I would have literally gone back here the very next day for more! I cannot wait to try more off their dumpling menu and try dine in!

Solid 4 stars for this place that is literally a current obsession in Cincy! I do understand the hype as the food is pretty good and traditional (even if some of the dumplings could be better and more flavourful), but for this city not having proper valid alternatives is still a very hot spot to try. Our server Cody was quick and helpful, and the place itself has a nice atmosphere.

So we first came here on a Saturday evening. We thought that if we got there around 5pm, the wait wouldn't be too bad. It was over an hour. We came back the next day, Sunday, at 2pm thinking it would be less wait. Wrong! It was still a 46 min wait- but well worth it! We started with the chili oil pork dumplings and they were amazing! Then we had the chicken fried rice and it was the best I've ever had. Hands down! Such a good Smokey flavor. We tried the soup dumpling and it was very good but harder to eat. I think the non-soup ones are my favorites. We also tried a fried beef dumpling and it was also very good. Only minor complaint is they are not good at refilling drinks. They do have really good Diet Coke, nice and cold in a metal cup. This will become one of our regular places on rotation, when we don't mind waiting. Definitely recommend !

Wow! This place is fantastic and the people know it! Wait time was 45 minutes. I like how you can watch and see how many parties are in front of you while you're waiting. Service was great! I wish things were explained a little bit better though. Food was amazing! Price $$$ Cleanliness; 7/10

The gentleman asked if we had reservations. We did not. He simply said, "Then we'll have three more guests for the evening" or something along those lines. He was very kind. Before our friend arrived, a woman stopped by to welcome us. Top notch service so far! The ambiance is beautiful. The lighted tree and decor behind us was a lot, but it felt tasteful. Jack, our server, stopped by to get us water. When our friend arrived we had a lot to talk about. Jack stopped by several times and was very chill about us taking our time. He said he didn't mind if we still weren't ready and he'd return to check on us as often as necessary. Again, kindness and patience abound at Oriental Wok. The Ma La Dumplings were absolutely delicious. The filling was delicious and the spice level, which we knew would be spicy, was perfect. Truly a wonderful bite. I had Five-Spice Tofu. The tofu was crispy as advertised and the greens were in a very light and delectable sauce. Green onions were sprinkled with the greens. I feel sometimes greens like these are an afterthought at many restaurants. At Oriental Wok they were as much a star as the crispy tofu. Mark had Orange Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. He mentioned the orange flavor was perfect. Either Jack asked if we wanted dessert and I missed it or he didn't ask. Our friend thought maybe he did and she said no, but she couldn't be sure. I just remember him stopping by to ask if we needed boxes. Anyway, next thing I knew we had our checks. I really wanted dessert, but I took it as a sign it was time for us to wrap up. I'm absolutely certain he would have been more than happy to bring us some dessert and update our checks, so going without was on me and that's cool. I think it's safe to say we will be back!
