I ordered a few things from this store recently, and a table I ordered came damaged. In an attempt to try and make things right, I get blamed for it. The service here completely sucks, and based on the reviews from others, I can see that im not the only one. Corner Furniture has a display of good looking furniture but, the quality is horrible! Initially, the sales person Wanda did her thing, she was professional, knowledgable, sweet and on point. Loved her and still do. My issue is the Ashley Brand Sectional Pop Up/Sleep and Chase Storage that I purchase from Corner Furniture, I kept feeling uncomfortable each time I sat on it. There was NO lumbar support. I felt like I was sliding off the couch, was not comfortable at all and I slept on the bed portion of it, I could not stay on it all night, it was horrible, slicing into me and hard as a rock. When I called the store, they said: "You're describing a comfort issue." There is nothing we can do and you had in your home we can't take it back." What was I supposed to do, use it on the streets? They should verbally let know that you have (48 hours) to get a refund. That was Red Flag there people! What happened to 30-90 days? Sad and horrible situation for me. My mistake, don't rush people, take your time, read the contract before you sign it, use your camera on the phone to magnify the small print. That was not good business, and the Montage Claims company they use to insure your furniture, they were useless. I filed the claim and they said, what you are describing is not covered in your contract. No one came out to sit on the piece of junk they sold me for $1,796.43 and they denied my claim. Please go to Macy's, Huffman Koos or Bloomingdales if you want quality furniture that will last. These Ma and Pa places are just a sidewalk store front to take your money. I made the mistake of leaving Macy's, never again. Pay for want you NEED, quality, and something that will last. In my opinion, ALLEGEDLY, places like Corner Furniture get the scraps that other stores no longer want to stock and it's damaged. If you get or have gotten something good, you are fortunate. What lead me there was a sectional my friend bought six years ago, it was firm and comfortable, might have been the last one. I purchased something similar, it was as I stated, horrible. Mine was definitely made wrong or damaged. A couch or chair you pay that kind of money for, you should be able to sit on it comfortably. I ended up essentially giving it away. A huge lost for me on a fixed income. I urge you all, go to Macy's, Bloomingdale, or Huffman Koos and you will get good quality and what you pay for and good service. I bought two leather couches from Macy's in the past from 1999-Present and they lasted until I got tired of looking at them. They stand by what they sell. Stay off the Corner! Run, don't even walk by. The last one was sectional with motorized recliners, I sold it because it was too big. However, when there was an issue with the motor twice, Macy's sent someone out and the problem was resolved. Stick with the best, you pay less, you get a mess. I bought 3 Curio cabinets from this store in 2019. One of them was damaged and it took several attempts and a total of 3 months to get a knowledgeable person sent by the store to repair the cabinet door. On the day of the purchase I was forced to pay additional $200 "protection" fee. When I tried to decline it, I was told that after 5 years it will be refunded to me if there was no claims filed by me. I was not given any Insurance Policy nor received it by mail. The sales tax was calculated on this additional $200 as well. Today, exactly 5 years after the purchase, I walked into the store, presented my sales receipt and asked for my refund. I was told that it will be the "store credit" and not a refund. I started looking around the store for an item to get and then I was told that I have to spend a minimum of $600 in order to get this credit. This is a fraud! I will definitely file a complaint with BBB and NYC Consumer Affairs office. read more

DEN OF THIEVES. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I reached out to this sham organization in March to purchase a table I saw advertised on their website. After foolishly calling in and leaving a 50% deposit to ensure the order was processed, I was texted the front of the receipt and was assured my order would be in process the next day. I NEVER RECEIVED MY MERCHANDISE. I reached out after the alleged due date came and went and was told that due to the wait they would "price match" the advertised price at Macy's and that my order would be in the following month. IT NEVER CAME. After 4 months of waiting, my husband and I went into the establishment to speak to the first thief Janice. I explained that we could no longer wait and we wanted to get our money back or select another item. She agreed and In good faith we began looking through patio sets. THIS IS WERE THE BUFFOONERY WENT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. 1. We selected a patio set and were told there would be a 1600 difference. My husband was very annoyed after Janice insisted we would get the same discount applied to our initial order and that she would take off an additional percentage due to the delay with out contact and twice failure of delivery of items ordered. She did not. Instead she upped the price. We decided to select another set $1600 cheaper than the first so it would be an even exchange and instead she said it was $1400 more. We asked to speak to the manager. 2. THE THEIVERY ESCALATES - We speak to the Manager Mathew who insists the math is correct. I refer to an advertisement where the patio set is listed for $300 LESS THAN OUR CREDIT. $1700 less than our quoted exchange price from Janice. Mathew and Janice insist the website is wrong. Janice insist that we are not reading the advertisement correctly. Perhaps it is Janice who is illiterate and clearly both Janice and Matthew don't understand basic math and should not be responsible for processing any financial transactions. 3. The REAL MANAGER decides to slither on over but does not identify himself to us. Instead he mosey's on over to his desk where he sits down to petrify as his ill managed staff continues to humiliate myself and my husband. 4. Finally Mathew learns Math... he offers an apology as Janice throws a tantrum. He agrees to POSSIBLY give us the advertised price after Tuesday when the sale ends so he can try and charge us a restocking fee for furniture never delivered or in their possession. He claims there is a truck right now coming from Canada alllllll the way to their beat up Bronx location to deliver our pristine $7000 dining table. .. and you know what he is a liar. He has no integrity and the three Charlatans all played their part. My husband and I were berated and we understood at that point we were not going to reach a resolution and asked for our refund. They refused. Matthew refers to a terms and conditions page NEVER SENT TO ME.. . because my receipt was texted and only the front with the breakdown of the monies was listed. 5. We asked for business cards of all involved and both Janice and the Manger responding to all these beautiful reviews I guess his name is Ron S. refused. I WISH I WOULD HAVE COME TO THE SHOW ROOM BEFORE TRUSTING THESE CROOKS WITH OUR CREDIT CARD. WE WILL CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE THROUGH ALL LEGAL MEANS TO GET OUR MONIES RETURNED. I would have known this place was as raggedy as the cheap rugs of their show room floor. Don't waste your time. I purchased furniture for my daughter's 21st birthday. The dresser was delivered damaged. It was replaced within the week before she came home from school. A month later the drawer on the chest came off track. That was replaced also within a week. Corner furniture gave me 2 gift certificates for the inconvenience. I have to say the furniture it poorly made. When I tried to use the 2 gift certificates that I was given to compensate me, I was told I had to spend a minimum of $499. Therefore, Corner Furniture really didn't do anything to compensate me at all. Sold me poorly made furniture and misled me. Well, after waiting from October 2021 to May 2022 I finally got the replacement kitchen table top and chair that were damaged. After all that waiting, I sent the table top back...It looked worse than the one that was being replaced. I will never deal with Corner Furniture ever again. The customer service is horrible and the salespeople that I dealt with Matthew and Aisha had nothing but excuses everytime I called to check on the status of the delivery. Matthew was the 1st person to handle my issue and all of a sudden he stopped texting me (and he gave me his cell # so i could text him) after telling me lies after lies...then Aisha took over and she was no better, excuses after excuses. That is the only thing they are could at is excuse after excuse.... HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Dishonest and demeaning 1. Salesman sold me a "specialty" child's bed with the guarantee of 1-2 week delivery, along with the mattress, and a protection plan, for $1600. He even brought in a supervisor to assure me of the delivery date and that the items I was being sold were meant for a toddler, when I also expressed my concerns about the catalog photo, which he told me the "high bed/mattress" was for esthetic purposes only to highlight the bed frame in the virtual catalog. 2. It took weeks and then months of me on the phone, and more appeals/promises to give them time to "make things right," since the initial delivery which was more than a month late was missing the headboard, safety rails and the mattress was obviously not meant for the bed. I called, texted and sent them photos of the mattress and the missing pieces from the very beginning. 3. Was given several missed delivery dates with no follow up until I called. I had to come in twice, in person, and the manager "had just left" when I came in to see him at the time they had specified he would be available. 4. Was given a written agreement to have a fully functional bed, which I in good faith wrongly thought meant a bed that my child could actually/safely sleep on, or be guaranteed a refund. New bed frame arrived but the mattress, and a "replacement" was rushed in and out since it was visibly also too thick and unsafe for a child's bed. 5. Last communication after being insulted, talked over and down to, for months, along with being laughed at while my child was crying in the background, instructed me to either return the mattress (which was the only thing they could resell) and try myself to find a mattress for the frame that they themselves had to admit they had no mattress for, or take them to court since they had finally delivered the FRAME and A MATTRESS. There was no legal or ethical obligation on their part to fully deliver on what I thought I was purchasing since I was not aware that what the salesperson had sold me/promised a "functional"/safe child's completed bed, that was not what he wrote on the receipt, a.k.a. contract. read more

Horrible customer service! I bought a black bedroom set and 2 years ago into using it a draw broke. I work and didn't get a chance to see them until after the warranty was up. The manager at the time told me that I had $150 dollars to spend in the store. She stated I could come in at anytime and get something. I came in July and spoke to a different person, she took off her mask and says that offer expired, she cant do anything about it. I tell her that I feel cheated, she shrugs and smiles. I was thinking about buying a living room set there but if that is how they are going to treat their customers they don't deserve my money. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! I know not everything is always perfect, but what made it into a negative experience, was a lie. Once a company lies to its customers, it's done. Just like anything else, it will be difficult to gain that trust. If a customer receives a table filled with scratches, and shows the company the moment it's delivered, but they tell the customer it's part of the table and that's how it comes from the manufacturer, it means they take their customers for fools. The replacement table was perfectly fine, big difference. So yes, they were scratches. read more

I'll start off by saying I wish I would've came on to Yelp prior to going to this store for a purchase. I came in on a short notice to get a TV stand and a desk for my new place. A nice lady, at the time, (I won't disclose her name) helped me with a purchase, it was fairly quick. She took the time to help me pick out both items. She said my TV stand would arrive on a Monday which is 3 days from my purchase day. On Friday (6 days from my purchase), I came in to cancel the order because I found a TV stand for much cheaper elsewhere, however, I came in close to closing time and the same lady told me to come back tomorrow (which is understandable because I came in at closing and everyone is trying to leave, so that's on me).. I came back on Saturday in the afternoon, and the same lady told me to see the manager (I found it a little odd that now she had a different demeanor and it seemed like she didn't want to deal with me, so I made no big deal). I spoke to the manager and informed him I want to cancel the order, the manager told me he can't cancel the order nor can he refund me because the TV stand is in route and is scheduled to be delivered. He also informed me, there's a 20% cancellation fee (which is understandable because it's in the terms) and then another 20% restocking fee (which is questionable, because that's now 40% of the money they're keeping from you). *****The manager informed me that the TV stand isn't even in the store (which the lady told me it would be there Monday, so had I decided to keep the furniture and came in on Monday, it wouldn't have been there) and on top of that, the manager stated I can't get a refund for anything because it's "in route". As of right now, I put in a dispute with my CC company because the furniture isn't there, the lady, with all due respect, misinformed me and now they're saying they can't refund me anything. This is unfortunate because I'm a very honest person and I look at things from a business perspective and my perspective as well and I even told the manager, I understand his side of things, but to be misinformed about a delivery (although I didn't want it) and then for him to say he can't do refunds? It leads me to believe this is a very shady place and I'm willing to fight until I either get a refund from this place or from my CC. read more

Will never spend another dime in this store! All's good until they get your $$$. I brought a beautiful mirrored LED bed in November 2021. Five minutes after delivery the lights shut off. I had to run the delivery men down to return and get the lights back on. 10 minutes later, out again!! I called Corner immediately. 'Great Salesman' essentially said it's no longer his problem. The Service person, He knows who he is, just lies, lies and lies as I request a replacement or repair. It's now 11/2 months with no communication from them unless I call. I went here for the first time today to buy a nightstand, and I was astounded by how beautiful and huge this place is. They have everything imaginable. The customer service was great. My saleswoman Nela, was fantastic. Very sweet and knew exactly what to show me when I told her what I was looking for. She was great at asking for my needs, and finding a piece I fell in love with. We went to Corner Furniture today for the first time to buy chairs for our home. I had never been there and couldn't believe the great selection of furniture they had. Right away we were greeted by one of the most pleasant sales person I have ever met. Sochy showed us around and tried to accommodate us as much as possible. After a long day of work I sat down in one of the living room sets and we discussed our options. We ended up getting the dining room chairs as well as our much needed living room set. I was put onto someone else she told me that she did she told me the price of $ 1200.00 I asked her if she had anything cheaper in the range of $200.00- $400.00. She asked me and I answered her she could of told me right then on the phone that no we don't have any in that price range and that would of been that but instead she said to me hold on and that she would check. Wasted no time charging my CC but Corner Furniture has stalled and broken promises regarding delivery date. First delivery was confirm for Saturday 8/4 . I called to inquire about my furniture on Saturday noon and was told by a rude Customer service rep ("yo furniture is not here yet so you're no even schedule for a delivery") I finally was able to speak to Janice, the agent that sold me the furniture, and she guarantee me the furniture was coming on Monday- Tuesday and that I would get it on Wednesday. Welp, today is Wednesday and guess what? I been calling for 5 hours since they open and I get a busy tone. I don't mind the delay what I can not deal with is the lies and inconsistencies. I'm simply calling my bank and getting a refund of over 2K so I can go to bobs. *Update* Bank refunded me all the money in less than 24 hours due to failure to deliver even after multiple delivery promise dates. I gave the store a courtesy call so that they don't try to deliver the furniture in the future whenever that is.... because the bank simply refunded my card. The same rude customer rep kept talking over me, ignoring me. I politely told her to let me speak and told her not to bother sending the delivery. She said "did you read the contract?" Said the bank will return the money to them when they send them the contract saying no refunds on special orders but my order was REGULAR nothing special. So I called my bank again, they said she was basically lying and that they block that merchant and Gave me a new card to ensure that my money stays in my account. If I could I'd give this place 0 stars, because this is the worst furniture store ever!!! I purchased a new mattress and box spring,when they delivered it ,they brought the wrong mattress. They told me they would exchange it for the right one the next day. The next day comes they told me I'd have to wait until next week, because they had to order it. Next week comes they bring the mattress but it arrives damaged!??? Then Elena has me come into the store on 6/28 to pick out a new one, the manager Frank told me it would take 10 days to get it, since then it's been numerous phone calls to the store, employees giving me different excuses, i just got the mattress today(8/14)and guess what... it's the wrong mattress AGAIN, but not only is it the wrong one, it's the one they brought to me the first time it was wrong, I'm so done with this store. In the Bronx the Corner Furniture store on White plains took my mother-in -law furniture order that includes bedroom set, living room set and an extra bed 22nd of June 2019 that supposed to deliver with in 1 week and it was never so but until 19 days later and top of al that the coffee table was missing when I call to find out what had happened they told me that the coffee table was not included my mother is and aged woman and she should be going through this, this store has no time responsibility in business. read more

Made numerous calls to the store for a status update and the receptionist(?) has not only been rude with the attitude of someone that has been denied food for days but also incompetent. Hello All! I hope everyone who is reading this is doing well and are safe during this trying season. With all that being said.. this store is full of fallacies. They say that they are known for their customer service and great deals but that is absolutely incorrect. I went to the store June 18th purchased a living room set from sales person WANDA who told us she will find out when it will be delivered...she came back and said the furniture will be at our home in 10 days. After giving them 14 days I called to schedule the delivery. AISHA the office manager told me " I'm sorry but I told WANDA the day of your sale to let you know that it will be available mid AUGUST" I explained that we weren't told that and if we would've been told that we would've made another selection. She stated I had to speak to Frank ( the owner) regarding my refund and that I was going to be charged a 20% cancellation fee. I called Frank who put me on hold and then manager Matthew picked up the phone. Matthew very understandably empathized with my situation and then gave me an option of another couch. This process went on for a month. I re-selected 3 couches. Each and every time I re-selected a couch they stated it will be in next week. Next week never came...actually next week came the furniture didn't. Matthew used his people skills and salesmen ship to sell false promises. He's the manager for a reason. Finally the day before my shipment was supposed to arrive July 17th..I called to confirm delivery..Matthew told me the merchandise wasn't there and he is sorry and I would have to wait until NEXT friday to find out IF the merchandise had arrived to then schedule a delivery. I put my foot down and explained I have been extremely patient and kind regarding this entire process and I was promised my livingroom set on July 20th so this promise should be fulfilled after all of the other broken promises. He says this " I have a sofas set but it comes with the sofa bed so it'll be 500 dollars more" out of frustration and waiting to finally get my furniture and accepting a couch in a COMPLETELY different color I agreed to pay the extra money he asked for. Finally I made the payment in FULL the day of re-selecting AGAIN and guess what. July 20th came and they sent me a sofa with so many rips and tears... it was unbelievable. He knew exactly what he was offering me because previously he told us he had a couch that had some damages that could be delivered next day...we explained that we paid for a new living room set and there was no reason for us to get anything damaged. Upon telling him this and going to the store and standing in front of him until he gave us an answer about how this was going to be taking care of he stated that he will contact the manufacturer and complain and it is not their(corner furniture) fault as they do not inspect the furniture before it leaves their warehouse THEIR WORDS. After an hour of being in the store waiting for some type of peace of mind some type of solution..he then says we're going to have a driver drive to the warehouse and pick up the furniture to swap out the sofa and loveseat and it will be done tomorrow for sure. July 21st came...the new sofa arrived but the loveseat did not....upon calling Matthew he said there was a mix up with the delivery guys...upon speaking with the delivery guys they stated that they were at the warehouse for 3 hours assuring they have recieved the correct merchandise that matched each invoice...the invoice stated SOFA only signed by the manager. He knew exactly what he was doing and wanted to leave us with the used loveseat because it had minimal damage underneath the couch that wasn't visible not to mention that the "new" sofa bed was broken. It would not be pulled out we had to hammer one of the parts to even get it to lay flat. I think this was extremely unfair. I'm glad I am done with this company. God sees everything. If you've gotten this far be WARNED DO NOT GO TO THE STORE ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS are the accurate. The delays are not due to COVID 19. They are due to the irresponsibility and false promises in order to make a sale. Raymour and Flanigan, Bob's Furniture and Ashley's furniture all have stayed true to their delivery and are up front and honest when talking about delivery times unlike this company. Not only was the sectional I purchased a piece of garbage, I also purchased an accent storage cabinet, they told me it was on sale from 1,200 to $500.00 which I paid, 2 months later same one was at HomeGoods for $249. My first and last experience with this establishment!!! While venturing into my new neighborhood; Where I've had the virtue of purchasing my new apartment. I mistakenly decide to take a drive out to "Corner Furniture: 2916 White Plains Rd. BX". I should add it's beautiful Saturday for November. With the weather so pleasant we find ourselves at our most comfortable in jeans, sneakers and some of us in sweats. We find ourselves casually entering to compare to other retailers in the BX area, but also to gain a better idea of what other options are available out there. In the interim we are embarked upon by a Elderly Caucasian Sales Associate by the name of "Will" who was overly pushy making the choice to take us around the store to browse at his selections of what items were ideal to him (less expensive). The money is not a factor since, the funds have been set aside for these high-ticket purchases. The point is that no sooner did I request his business card so that we could continue to look around his entire demeanor changed. Gentlemen is too much of a word to describe this individual...So I will refer to him as "Will-Abrupt Sales Associate". He became indignant, irate stating "Well I'm sure you know where the door is, a word of advice don't waste any Sales Associates time we work on commission", all while slamming his clipboard on a counter. This behavior was extremely unsettling to me and my family especially coming from someone in the retail/customer service industry. My impression is that our tailored weekend look was not indicative of his type of clientele. My last words to him were "God Bless You". The bright side to this whole unfortunate incident was that we drove out to "Bob's Furniture: Coop City" where the Sales Associates gladly welcomed our appearance and my wallet. We purchased a dining room set, living set and the associate convinced us on a nice little bar. To quote a scene from Julia Robert's character in the movie Pretty Woman "Hi, do you remember me? I finished my home 18 years ago in 2004 with a complete living room dining room and master bedroom set when I purchase my home . I enjoy the furniture and have gotten strong accolades on them all . This summer my 8-year-old sat on the sofa which suddenly broke down on the front leg . We lifted the furniture on its back and will surprise by what we saw . Why the leg was broken off by an average size child sitting routinely on the furniture, the bottom show evidence of Prior damage that was patched up by the manufacturer . There was a corner patchwork of thick thread stitching on the fabric lining the bottom . But who checks the bottom of brand new furniture just delivered and set on the floor ? So for 18 years no one knew this furniture was delivered damaged and no one from the business said anything . I called the company and spoke to the current manager about this . Clearly I'm not expecting refund after 18 years but just to let him know the integrity of his business . He showed the concern and asked for my pictures which I sent by text . Never heard from them since.. it's more than a month . I requested response to acknowledge receipt of my pics .. no response to that either . Lesson learned .. don't just look at the visible areas of your furniture. Be sure to check even underneath to know that you are not receiving damage Goods after all these years! read more

I purchased a love seat two months ago from this place. It had a manufacturer defect right out of the box which i pointed out to the delivery guy (not his fault). They told me follow up with Corners which i did and it was never addressed after that. They leave their customers out in the cold for follow up. Also, i believe the sofa received was a different model than what was in store. Yonkers Love Seat received an item named Alaska? Today is 10/21/20 and i have been waiting on follow up since August. I would highly not recommend them and if they respond and address my customer concern i will eat my words, but it is only having to publicly shame them. read more

I would like to start by saying this is my very first review on Yelp. I ordered a recliner by Best approximately 2 years ago with a lifetime warranty from the company. I called Corner furniture back in October 2019 and sent pictures showing the broken piece. I have spoken with every manager and repair person available with no help nor solution to fixing my recliner. I have had responses saying the part was ordered and it was being mailed to me, to it is being mailed to the store. Every person said they would call back but, of course not one call back up to this day and time. It is the most disorganized store I have even been involved in and the rudeness was out of control. The only thing they want is to sell and they want no part of repairs or warranties. I am frustrated and so disappointed that no one has the decency to follow up or help me with a solution. It is 5 months. I have asked that the owner please give me a call and left 2 messages with no response. Today RayT the manager of the store finally picked up my call and just over spoke me which was unnecessary and did nothing to help. Every time I tried to speak he would interrupt me and was not interested in my side of the story and proceeded to hang up on me and told me to email the owner. I had to call back to get the email. RayT picked up and gave me the email to appease me because he had slammed the phone done, meanwhile when I tried once again to speak to him he said " your on speaker so everyone can hear you". I asked multiple times to please take me off speaker , and finally he did then proceeded to laugh at me and said "no one is in my office, speak" I questioned why he was laughing with no response from him. I finally started to tell him what had happened and he responded I'll call you back in 5 minutes well, that was an hour ago and still no phone and I'm left with a broken recliner! I placed a claim for my damaged bed on July 2020. On August I received an email from the insurance company stating that the claim has been approved. They also stated that I should be hearing from Corner Furniture on when I will receive the new piece. For the past five yes 5 months I have been calling as well as the Insurance company and all we get is the run around. When we ask for the manager he is either in a "meeting" or on a "break". According to the customer representative they claim I will get a call back. Waiting till this day. The Insurance company has been trying to assist, but they also stated that they emailed and called Corner Furniture and has yet to receive a response. The worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. Never I repeat NEVER would I ever purchase anything else from them. I wouldn't recommend this Store to anybody!!! Would love to see how much more longer I would be waiting to get this resolved. read more

Issue was not resolved. I took it as a learning lesson however I refused to be bullied or tricked into not speaking up about it.

Be careful they sell defective merchandise that has been sitting in the basement forever collecting dust and if you bring it back to late they will not refund your money. Then they try to accuse the customer breaking it. They kept my daughters money, a single mom of two children..maybe that's how they stay in business! read more

I went to this store with a friend to look at dinette sets. As soon as we walked in I was very impressed with some of the most beautiful furniture and accessories I have ever seen displayed in any furniture store. There was so much there. The sales rep who came to service me was Robert. He was so pleasant and polite as well as personable and professional. As we walked around and looked at the various dinette sets on display Robert never was pushy. He was very patient as I had a difficult time deciding which dinette set I wanted to purchase. There were about 4 sets I really liked. I finally chose a beautiful dinette set which came with an added piece I truly loved. Robert even brought Matt (one of the supervisors) over and we negotiated on an added accent (red vase) that was on display on another dinette set. Matt was so professional also. The dinette set was to be delivered 2 days after my purchase. It was supposed to have been delivered on Friday of last week but the truck broke down so we rescheduled another delivery for this past Monday and the driver came at around 10:45am. The table was put together and the dinette set materialized before my eyes. I want to give a shout out also to the store manager who made sure I received the set as quickly as I did after the truck broke down on that Friday. I recommend Corner Furniture as a store with such beautiful furniture and accent pieces. And ask for Robert when you get there. My friend and I was treated with such respect and professionalism. A few months ago I was in search of some furniture for my bedroom and I immediately thought about going to Corner Furniture. One of my girlfriends had gotten her furniture there so I knew they had great selections. Subsequently, I had referred two of my family members to go there as well. And, they were blown away by the customer service they received from Felix! When I finally visited the store, my first duty was to make sure that I asked for Felix. From the onset, Felix was very personal, professional and really listened to what I said I wanted. I went in wanting a bedroom set but after discovering this beautiful dining room set I got both items because Felix was incredibly flexible in making sure we got a packaged deal! Although it wasn't the initial plan, the deal made sense and I was happy to be going home feeling like a total winner! These people are the worse. Corner Furniture been in my neighborhood for years, my family always bought furniture from them. Biggest mistake I did purchasing furniture from them. Me and my husband decided it was time for a new bedroom set. We went to Corners in January met up with Wanda one of their sales rep. She introduced us to one of her most popular bedroom sets. We decided to get it, we than went to pick a mattress for the bed. We asked to push delivery for 2 weeks while we prepare our bedroom "paint" for new furniture. Within that time we received a call that a dresser was in back order. So we made it clear not to deliver until all pieces are in. Time went by days, weeks and nothing. Finally we got a call of delivery on a Friday. Truck arrives to our surprise the dresser was not in delivery after we told them dont deliver until all pieces are in. The mirror dresser was damaged, a draw from the bed also damaged. So here we are a bed with no working draw no dresser. Meanwhile we wore sleeping on our sofa because we threw out our old bedroom set. To make matters worse the mattress was way huge for the bed. Wouldn't you recommend a mattress that goes well with that bedroom set? Had to wait until Monday or Tuesday to change the mattress. Spoke to manager Frank and assured us we will get our furniture in 10 days. In all this my husband father passed away and have to deal with this craziness. 10 days pass Wanda is not in Frank either. Husband calls and is told have to wait longer because truck didnt come in. Today April 25th husband goes to the store and is told furniture is coming thru shipment. So when are we suppose to get our furniture? Another 3 months? Why sell furniture you know you dont have in stock? And it's your popular item? Do yourselves a favor go to Raymour and Flanigan. Because I'm sure am in the future. This has been a nightmare and horrible customer service and experience. read more
