We have used Cornerstone Air on several occasions when our older a/c unit had issues. They provide prompt, courteous service with knowledgeable recommendations for repair. When we needed to replace our unit, they expertly installed the new unit and had us back up and running very quickly. I highly recommend Cornerstone Air. read more

Very prompt and attentive to my needs. I just moved into the area and have been having AC concerns. First it was a plugged AC drain and then an amperage high draw concern with the compressor. Both now fixed. With temperatures exceeding 100 degrees having a functioning AC is a must. I'm so impressed with Cornerstone, that I've asked them install an AC/Heat system in my shop. We had a terrific experience with this excellent company! We had another AC service come out prior to this, and they gave us an estimate to replace our current 20+ year old system at about $6,000. We were told that we needed to replace both our indoor and outdoor systems, even though we had just replaced the indoor system just over two years ago. They said it would not be compatible with the new outdoor unit. So we called Cornerstone, they said that was a bunch of bologna, replaced the outdoor unit, total cost to us, $2,600. I would use these fine guys again in a heartbeat! Excellent service and honest! read more

Cornerstone is a dishonest and incompetent company. They have visited and 'repaired' the A/C - heating unit in my small 3-bedroom rental house in Dallas more than ten times and have ripped me off for thousands of dollars in the past year and a half. They have put in (according to their invoices) more than 30 pounds of Freon. From 2 to 8 pounds each visit. Somehow they keep 'finding' leaks in the coils and burnt parts. Is this normal? How many of you honestly needed to call an A/C repairman more than once or twice in the past five years? And by the way, the unit is only three and half years old, installed by this same company! Unfortunately I live out of state so I can't check their work and my property manager (Apex Realty, Garland, TX) doesn't care. They are not the ones paying for the 'repairs'. There are only two reasons for so many repair visits: incompetence or fraud, but more likely the latter. They must be leaving things not completely fixed so they get to go back again and again. Extremely lucrative business. I would avoid this company like a plague, and considering a lawsuit. Also, I'm in the process of switching property managers. read more

The first time was right after another company pumped my system with unneeded freon and didn't resolve the issue. These guys fixed the issue and showed me the best way to maintain my system. He looked at our ducts briefly and to my surprise let me know that they appeared to be in "pretty good shape". He wrote me up a quote and after a very informative discussion we agreed that this project could wait. I was very impressed by Mike's honesty Feels like a vendor typically comes up with a reason to sell you their service whereas Mike did not. I was pleased to also know that Glimmer clean cleans upholstery and carpets. I'll definitely be calling Mike back to come and clean our carpets in the spring.
