I'm 72 female and I was trying to understand and he kept yelling so rudely that I was wasting his time he was too busy!!will never go there again,no wonder he can't keep a secretary. He has a new one all the time when I called to ask her after I left, she hung up on me twice and then the third time he answered the phone and yelled again that they were busy and I was wasting his time! His arrogance, disrespectful was not worth my time! never imagined he would ever treat anyone the way that he did me! Don't come here keep your peace! The folks here are honest, helpful, very knowledgeable, ASE ceritifed, and willing to take the time to help you understand what is going on with your vehicle. My Highlander had several problems, AC and warning light. I stopped in to make an appointment and check them out. They had been recommend to me, and I was looking for great shop to work with. I caught them on their lunch break, but they offered to help me right away if I had the time. I was their for a total of 45 minutes, and in that time they solved my AC issue, gave me a quote on the warning light. The most important part was they took the time to explain what was going on with my Hybrid. I was in Oceanside and came from Rio Rancho NM when my 1985 Chevy Silverado w/ non-stock motor and custom fuel injection system entirely quit working. Stuck, with no way to get parts and fix it, I spent 1/2 day calling 15 different shops that would be willing take the custom truck. None would even consider looking at it. My friends neighbor recommended Cornerstone. I called, and Bruce was the ONLY ONE willing to help get me back on the road. I had the truck towed to Cornerstone, and after a couple of hours of trouble shooting, parts replacement, AND willing to let me look over his shoulder and ask questions, BRUCE NAILED IT! My vintage ignition system timed for mountain regions had failed intermittently, but Bruce tracked it down. Casey got the parts ordered and delivered, and the 350 was purring again. I was so impressed and thankful that I asked Bruce to take a look at my rear brakes while he was at it. It turned out that the rear axle seal was leaking onto the brakes. Casey ordered the parts, Bruce installed new axle bearings, seals, and brake components. Now I was ready to make the ~800 mile trek with the truck fully loaded and pulling a heavily loaded 12' trailer. We are now home. Thank you Bruce for your competence and willingness to help a traveler, and Casey for ordering and getting the parts in quickly. First time when I visited them, I was shocked (positively) to see the quote. It was a couple of hundred dollars when many in town gave me quotes that ran in thousands. These guys don't do repairs that are not necessary. These guys are honest. It has been years since I knew them. I have never searched for anyone else to do the repairs on my car. Now, I am in the market to buy a new car. I went to them and asked them if they would repair the car of my choice. They said, "Yes!". :) Had they said no, I would have limited my selection to whatever they repaired. Lucky for me, they repair all cars that I am interested in.
