I'm onlyproviding 5 stars, because their Plumber, Rolando, was amazing. However, there is no way to contact this company, especially if the call to them came through an insurance home warranty type deal. Our insurance company, Choice Home Warranty, told us that they were going to be dispatching Cornerstone construction solutions and the time and date would automatically be assigned. They told me if the time and date don't work that we could call CSC and reschedule. The time assigned did NOT work, and I left multiple voicemails and never heard back. I wasn't supposed to be home, but since it was raining, I rearranged my day and was here when Rolando arrived early (even earlier than the text said he would be arriving). That being said, Rolando was the nicest, most helpful, wonderful diagnostician I could have hoped for in a plumber. The problem was fixed quickly, and we even had a nice chat about how to handle the timing next time if we need to do an insurance claim again. read more

The company assigned to us through Choice Home Warranty because of a sink stoppage. Waited 3 days for them to assign a technician. The technician calls 7 am Monday morning with 20 minute warning. I checked outside due to technician not showing up and there was a yellow invoice on the step with a note saying customers were not home. Everyone was home with a very alert dog that never barked. Tried calling back the technician, but he refused and waited to take my call. The company voicemail is not responding. Cancel CHW and will contact BBB to file a complaint against the company. read more

Part of american home warranty call. Doesnt read the notes put on the claim. Doesnt listen to their voicemails. Claim was picked up and dispatched at 830PM. For 11-3 appt next day. Called 630 to ask if they could try to show up around noon. No call back. They send a automated dispatch notice. At 750AM. Apparently appt was changed to 8-12 with no notice and technician ronaldo was on his way to arrive at 9AM. He says quote "i can try to go to another job first but no guarantees i can show up today" Joke of a company read more

There is some miscommunication with home warranty, but Rolando took the time to inspect, analyze, and understand what was wrong with our water heater. He then came and did such a great job. This company was assigned to us through our home warranty company (American Home Shield). Our water heater was not heating up properly. I got a text message on Tuesday that they could come out on Thursday. I called Tuesday and left a voicemail to see if they could come out sooner since hot water is a necessity. No response. I called again Wednesday and left another voicemail that went unanswered. I sent a text and received no reply. Our time window for Thursday was 10am-2pm. At 12:45 no one had showed up or called yet. I called again and their voicemail box was full so I couldn't leave a message. I sent an email with no response. Finally I called American Home Shield. They said the appointment was still on. The plumber, Rolando, shows up-is completely unprofessional, barely mutters a hello. I thanked him for coming (although I was already frustrated with the lack of communication on the company's behalf). I showed him the water heater and told him what was going on-which he didn't even seem to be listening to. He asked zero questions, he looked at the unit for about 3 minutes. He did not ask me to go inside and turn on the water, check the temperature anything. He told me "it's fine, it's working." LOL! It most definitely isn't. The pipe above the unit wasn't even heated up, meaning it's not on-I even told him this! He honestly had no idea what he was doing and was completely unprofessional and very rude. He simply did not give a crap and was thrilled to just be getting out of there after 3 minutes on the job and not doing anything. This is THE WORST company I have ever used for anything in my life. Now I have to wait until these bums submit their fraud report to American Home Shield pretending like they checked the water heater and everything was fine so that I can then get someone else to come out here to actually fix the problem. Rolando is the technician that came over. My wife answered the door after 1 hr when i got home he was leaving already and he told my wife that the moist on my plumbing is causing the damage on my wall. But i instead that there is a leak somewhere then i told him that the seal ring on the toilet bowl is leaking when its backing up at first he dosent want to do it and he want to leave. I told him he needs to replace it. When he finally agrees we saw the seal ring is worn off and he know that he made a fool of him self. The i told him we need to find the leak inside that wall. He refuse and leave. Later i found out that he went to my patio and check the main drain when i went outside theres a lot of water on the floor and when i investigate i found out that he broke the drain pipe. When i went to the bathroom he did not connect the water connection and when we turn it on water all over the bathroom then he did not seal the toilet bowl properly. read more

Very poor company when it comes to customer service. They were sent out by our home warranty company American Home Shield for a leaky faucet. They showed up and said need to reschedule the job since they need to buy parts. The technician told me the office will contact to reschedule the job. After two weeks of follow up and several messages no one bothered calling us back. I had to get the warranty company involved and now they are sending a new company out. My AC stopped working on the hottest day of the year on a Friday. I have home warranty through American Home Shield who assigned the repair work to Cornerstone Construction Solutions. I had a tech come in the same day and take a look at the AC. Unfortunately the AC was not fixable but the tech was extremely professional and really tried his best to get the system working in greater than 100 degrees temperatures. After the tech went I spoke to Sam from Magik air( the ac repair branch of cornerstone) and he was very professional and made sure the warranty company got the diagnosis promptly. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better company to come out!! Cornerstone was sent by AHS, but they were so awesome I will continue to use them outside of my insurance in the future. In the first big heatwave this year, other companies were sent by AHS with "quick fixes" that didn't quite work. Finally, CornerStone correctly diagnosed the problem, but since the parts needed almost amounted to a brand new unit, I upgraded to a new unit! I have medical issues and cannot be in high temperatures very long, and I'm so grateful they were able to fit me in during the biggest heatwave this year. After our neighbor's tree went wild and decided it wanted to attack our plumbing in search of water...... the roots grew so large they buckled my driveway. Its hard to find a construction company you trust, and I got bids from quite a few companies. But in the end, CornerStone won out. What wonderful people to work with! Communication was so quick and easy (text, call, whatever - they always replied promptly) and they were so kind and decent to put up with numerous trips to the house to go over ideas and get bids - before we even gave them the job! Once I saw our new driveway, I knew we had made the right choice. The quality of the work is superb - we literally have a european driveway (nicest in the hood!) that looks like it came from a grand estate! Pricing was fair, and for the quality of work, one might even think its a bargain. When the home was appraised recently the appraiser immediately commented on the driveway, and after looking at the numbers - it actually turns out the driveway paid for itself in increased value to our home! This was the contractor that was given to me by my home warranty, horrible customer service , He was not willing to give me a call even the day before he was going to come out. Just a call in the morning with a 5 hr window. He was afraid to do the work covered by the home warranty because the toilet could break. Then he would have to replace toilet . If I have the option to rate a company zero stars, I would do it for this company. Horrible customer service!!!!!!!!! I did not go to work to make sure I am around when they come, called many many many times to confirm the time. By the time they called me and missed it but called back in 30 minutes, they cancelled my appointment and went on to the next one. On the many times I called and even the voice message they left, I wasn't told I only have 30 minutes to call back. Plus, why would I call many times before the appointment confirming and reconfirming the time if I will not be around? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are scammers and liars. They told the warranty company that assigned them to me they came to my property. They never did. I will report them to Better Business Bureau, Dept. of Consumer Affairs, among other places. I found Cornerstone Construction Solutions through AHS when my attic A/C unit started leaking during this latest heatwave, causing the ceiling below it to start dripping onto my stairwell. And since I work from home, I needed the A/C for my workroom. While I understood Cornerstone was booked solid, I had to have the unit back up and working as soon as possible. So I cancelled the Cornerstone appointment through AHS and made arrangements through another company (outside of AHS) to come out. Sako, the owner of Cornerstone, called me IMMEDIATELY after I made the AHS cancellation and said to call him if the new company wasn't able to fix the problem. The new company showed up extremely late and couldn't be bothered with even attempting to fix the problem, which left me completely frustrated and without A/C for another day. I called Sako the next morning, and made arrangements with AHS to have a technician come out late that same afternoon. His tech was incredibly personable, highly knowledgeable, and after he left I felt like I'd been dealt with more than fairly and in a much more professional manner than the previous company. Unfortunately, an hour after the tech left, the problem started again. I called Sako again in the morning, and while his technicians were all booked solid for the day (remember, we were in a heatwave), Sako said he'd wait until one of his trucks came back from their scheduled appointments and MAKE THE TRIP OUT TO MY HOUSE HIMSELF AFTER BUSINESS HOURS!! To me, this shows how Sako is fully dedicated to professionally servicing his customers. My problem was finally fixed (turns out the unit wasn't entirely level), Sako and I had a great time getting to know each other while we were waiting to confirm his repair was working, and as a result of his excellent customer service, Cornerstone will be my FIRST call for any other repair or construction issues I may have. Worst service ever. Have a tankless water heater that had a very slow mild drip. Called my home warranty and they sent out CornerStone Construction Solutions. They sent a guy who had never worked on water heaters. The technician took the unit apart and made the water heater start leaking a ton of water. He could not stop it. He claimed they needed to order a part and he didn't know if he could get it or not. He then said he had to leave as he had other appointments to get to. He would not help stop the water from pouring out of the water heater, any issue that he made 100 times worst. He was extremely rude and arrogant. He claims he didn't know why the company sent him as he is not a licensed technician to work on these problems. Tried calling the company multiple times and they would not pick up. He gave us a fair estimate and a time period for the job that needed to be done. We live in a gated community so them being fully licensed and insured help a lot with the HOA. They had a very friendly staff and the work that was done to code and to perfection. They do all kind of construction work from a-z.
