They were usually 2-4 hours late in arrival time. The water heaters were plumbed incorrectly- he used the wrong couplings, tubing and also installed improperly. He turned the pressure up to 160 (60 is the max per professionals). The valve had to be replaced and we paid $1,000 to a master plumber to re - plumb correctly and replace the valve. The ceiling fan was wired backward. They would not return my calls or text when I asked them to come fix it. Very poor quality and customer service.

We had been watching house after house in our neighborhood getting new roofs and started examining…read moreour own roof for signs of needing replacement all the while hoping that we didn't because of the price. The day that a house behind ours began repairs was very windy. The owner Shannon McDaniel noticed our shingles lifting with the wind and offered to look at our roof and since my husband and I had already been discussing our possible need for a new roof, I agreed. After the inspection he told me that we had storm damage. This is our first house and we had not even entertained the thought of storm damage even though most of the roof repairs in our neighborhood started right after hurricane Irma blew through the state. He had taken pictures of the damage to show me and explained to me why he thought it was due to strong winds. He encouraged me to contact my insurance agent to have one of their adjusters come out and give their opinion. Two days later my insurance adjuster came and Mr. McDaniel took time to come by also. My adjuster had worked with Mr. McDaniel before so within an hour I had approval for a new roof and a check in my hand for the repairs. Two weeks later I had a beautiful new roof. The crew was awesome. They did everything. They moved our trampoline out of the way. They worked quickly and respectfully. They were done in one day and when they left there was not even a nail left in the yard. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.

The problem was the sky light was not installed properly and caused leaks. The heat and sun has dried our caulk and cracks have formed. Caulking like we did before would be necessary when new leaks form. We wanted his thoughts and appreciate his honesty. He did not try to sell us something we did not need but explained the situation so we could understand. We look for contractors that are knowledgeable and honest and he rocks. She had to stop working and went to talk to the roofer that said he had an appointment with me at 5:30. I live by my calendar and I did NOT have an appointment. Some telemarketer gave RRG my address and they were waiting in my driveway while I was at work. The roofer had my phone number, but didn't even call me. I tell him on the phone to email, but he insists on coming back next week. His 1 and only text to me was "Don't waste your time." so I'm passing this on to all the other future customers... Don't waste your time. I have talked to many roofers, and he was second to worst with customer service. I went thru my doorbell cam recordings and found the guy. Why didn't he just call me?! You can see the phone in his hand, and he has my number... Edit: look at the company response. This is their customer service. Maybe they will learn from this experience, call/text the next customer about time of meeting, and treat the customer with respect. I serve my customers, and I respect their time and decisions.

A tree fell on our house and did just enough damage to make the whole process a royal pain. Because…read morethe damage was not catastrophic, it was difficult to get anyone to do the work or even come out to look at it. But it was still pretty significant damage with about five rafters crushed along with part of the roof, and the whole line of gutters across the front of the house destroyed. I called Optimal and they came out that day. The quote was fair enough and they set a time to come out and do the work. There was a slight scare with weather on the appointed day, but they finally agreed to come out as I had the power turned off for the work. They came out and got it done. Very good job. I'll certainly call them again when we need a new roof or the like.
