On this huge store there was only one line to get a real person line for ringing up your groceries -:everything else was self check. Contrast this to the smaller Trader Joes with ten person lines. Like Walmart, the deli has only sodium nitrite meat selections that are all classified now as class one carcinogens,! Also, like Walmart there are no reduced fat cheeses in the store. Nutrition researchers now recommend to buy only cheeses with 3% or less saturated fat. . On the breakfast cereal side, about half of their cereals were highly sweetened and none were lines of healthy cereals. The organic fruits and vegetables are way in the back of the store with limited types and high prices. If you go to most of the mainline churches today, you will find mostly gray heads and fewer attendees. They don't keep up with the times . Likewise at Meijer s, most of their customers are gray heads. Young and middle age shoppers have turned to stores like Trader Joes and Costc.o.

I drove to 7 different places to get the right bit for the luggage nuts. Went back in and asked again, please can I use that luggage nut bit??? NO, you should have ordered the right tire. He said he was right there when we did it. Finally went to Bell tire and they gave us the right bit for the lugs even though they didnt have the tire I needed. Got the rim off and took tire to get fixed. Put tire back on and went back to Bell Tire and gave them their bit back. Had the prick at COSTCO given me the bit in the first place I could have been home by 1pm. As is, it is almost 6pm and we are just getting the tire. There is no value in asking for help at COSTCO. The email link leads you to the bin number to get your item(s). Took less than 60 seconds. Staff was welcoming and helpful when I used the self-checkout. Surprised they had them. Horrible Santa Reservation System - Children Left Disappointed…read more I prepaid and made reservations for a 2:30 PM visit with Santa today at Twelve Oaks Mall for my 8-year-old daughter and her friend. When we arrived there were two lines--one for reservations and one for walk-ups--but absolutely no organization whatsoever. No one was actually checking reservation times, so people with later time slots could have easily been standing ahead of us in line for all we know. We stood in the "reservation" line for 25 minutes with zero movement, and when we finally asked, the manager told us they were still on 1:30 PM appointments and were not actually checking appointment times until you got to the front of the line- not sure what good that does. She even admitted things were not set up correctly and things were not running smoothly, but had no explanation as to why no one was checking times when putting people in line. We unfortunately had to leave because we had already waited with no progress and two disappointed little girls who didn't even get to see Santa. And after all that, they told me no refund was possible even though they clearly weren't honoring the reservation time I paid for. Very poor organization, very disappointing for kids, and extremely unprofessional to take payment up front without providing what was purchased. I really hope management sees this, because this was NOT at all the magical Santa experience we paid for. I would absolutely not recommend booking here based on today's experience.

I anticipated having to return the shoes and buy them again online, but the sales associate swiftly explained that she could do a full exchange and have the correct size sent to me without me having to lift a finger (or charge my card again! Yay) The whole process was done in 3 minutes, and the new shoes are already on their way. I wish the fragrance department carried more brands (le labo, Diptyque, more products from the nue co), but there's also lots to peruse in that section as it is. Friendly and prompt service make this a great shopping experience.

The second floor had next to no one available anywhere. I went to the juniors department, where I had purchased the dress, and was met with an associate who was on a personal call, and then very curtly told me that she "could not help" because she was now clocking out after concluding her personal phone call on her cell phone. I had to wait for her to wrap up her personal call before she shared her message of not being able to help with me. She then sent me to the other side of the store and said they were plenty of registers open. Well, not exactly. I did come across a nice associate, who was apparently in training, but she, too could not help me. She left to try to find someone who could help me. Another employee in training explained to me that it was not the employee in training's fault that she couldn't help me. I explained that I understood that and was then met with yet another Nordstrom employee, who appeared confused about my request. He, too, was going to get someone, or he said I could go to Customer Service. I decided to go to Customer Service where I asked if they could remove the plastic piece, and if she could check if there was another size in the dress as the original was slightly too big. While she was explaining to me that it was sold out, she actually opened up a piece of candy in front of me and started eating it. At this point, I said, I just wanted to return the dress altogether. All of this hassle for a one item return. Add to that, the reason I even went back was because they had left the large plastic piece (theft deterrent) on the dress. it was such a lackluster and disappointing visit to the store. I actually prefer Macy's at this point as they have far more help on the floor and they have a better energy in their store. The energy inside of Nordstrom was flat, and no one seemed excited or happy to be performing their job. Very disappointing experience. Based on this experience, I have decided that I am no longer a Nordstrom shopper.

Compared to most other cities in metro Detroit and surrounding communities, it has one of the most fun and funky downtowns, thriving and active, with a lot of emphasis on organic and earth-friendly goods. Westchester Square Mall is a series of connected shops and includes outdoor paths between them. Included in the mall are places like the Omelette and Waffle Cafe, a stained glass gallery and supply store and many other small independent gift shops. One of the best things about shopping downtown Plymouth is that parking is a breeze. There are a number of large city-owned lots that are completely free, with time limits ranging from two to eight hours.
