Cornucopia Catering was AMAZING!! They catered our outdoor wedding in October 2019 and wow did they do an amazing job. They made the process of tasting on finalizing menus super easy and Chelsea was a great help! When I tell you that people RAVED about the food I mean they WOULD NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT. Literally. The food was perfection!!! We went with a Mediterranean theme buffet with some more Americana appetizers. People still tell me how good the food was. The presentations were lovely and elegant and exactly what a wedding should be. Their entire staff was lovely and friendly during service. They did a wonderful job setting everything up and made sure they brought extras in case we needed. I have and will continue to recommend Cornucopia. Elliot, thank you! It was a pleasure to work with you.

After a million "no's", Cornucopia gave us the "yes" that mattered! Not only did they work with our budget but went above and beyond for us! Andrea is amazing, organized, professional and very sweet. And Dennis is an amazing chef! Everyone at our wedding loved the food! It was a pleasure working with Cornucopia. We highly recommend them and would definitely hire them in the future.

If you're on Yelp researching caterers for your wedding, stop looking. Cornucopia is the BEST!! I got married 6 months ago and people are still talking about how AMAZING the food was. I should have written this sooner but hopefully I catch the rest of you brides/grooms in time as you plan your wedding. Most people focus on the dress, the flowers or music but we were the most concerned about the food. We met with two other caterers but CC was the only company who set up the meeting at our venue. Andrea walked thru the grounds with us and listened to what we wanted. She made suggestions about where tables and the kitchen should go. She is very detailed and throughout which is great because the hubby is that way too. Instead of handing me a preset menu like the other caterers, Chef Dennis asked us what we like to eat and said he had some ideas. We met them for a tasting the following week and OMG it was so delicious that we had a difficult time choosing between all the options. Another thing to point out is that both Chef Dennis and Andrea worked very closely with us on rentals and food adjustments so we could meet our budget. We really appreciated it. The day of the wedding...they were a well oiled machine! The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. We ended up running out of champagne and Andrea came to the rescue and ran out and bought more. No one even noticed..including us! Chef Dennis outdid himself and all of the food looked amazing and tasted even better than we remembered from the tasting. People would not stop talking about it! Here is what he made for us: APPETIZERS Mini chicken & waffles Seared ahi tuna lollipops Mango, Ricotta and Basil Crostini Sweet & spicy turkey meatballs Caprese pipette SALAD Red Quinoa and kale with butternut squash, apples and pistachios ENTREES 20 hour brisket with polenta (crowd favorite) Chicken Parm with Pesto orzo Wild mushroom risotto with butternut squash Again, I highly recommend Cornucopia. Just an awesome experience!! Thank you Dennis and Andrea for making our big day so special!! Cheers :)

April 13, 2026 UPDATE: This is the second time we've worked with Chef Scott of Silver Spoons…read moreCatering, and the second time he's earned a glowing review. Spoiler alert: the man is the consummate professional. The level of detail this guy focuses on is insane. The floral decorations on the bar top and the hors d'oeuvre platters come to mind. The whole experience was elevated because of the catering - the food, drinks, service, and presentation created a legit classy atmosphere. I felt like we were at a Hollywood premier reception - very fancy. I almost forgot to talk about the food itself lol! The reason we chose Scott in the first place was because we loved his dishes. We were impressed with the tasting menu meeting and selected our menu. When the day came...everything was so delicious! Here's the real proof. As hosts, we rarely get to eat much of the food at the event itself. We are too busy entertaining and talking with visiting family. THANK GOD they send the leftovers home with us! Let me tell you...working our way through the leftovers...was like...reading a love letter. Every dish was so good, so carefully and lovingly made, with only quality ingredients. The quality and care invested in each dish was literally palatable in every bite. The wait staff was professional and friendly. Scott himself was present and supervising everything. Timing of all services was perfect. Everything was perfect. No issues whatsoever, only love and praise, well deserved. Once again, thank you dearly, Chef Scott! Wishing you much continued success! Original review, posted Dec 13, 2023: We enthusiastically recommend Chef Scott and Silver Spoons Catering. He did our big event and it was close to perfect. The tasting meeting was smooth and fun. The pricing was reasonable. Scott is personable and friendly. The night of the event, again, everything went smoothly. The buffet layouts were good. The bar and wait staff were good. The table settings were fancy and elegant. Everything was timed correctly. And omg the food. My son ate like 6-7 of the tuna tartare's. The salmon teriyaki skewers were my favorite appetizer. But my gosh the chicken was heavenly. All the guests commented on how good the food was. The day after we felt completely satisfied and we couldn't wait to dig into the leftovers. That's a good sign!

We booked Martin Fierro Asado (MFA) for our wedding in March because we wanted a unique and…read morememorable experience for our guests. Having Martin and his team cooking on-site was a key part of our vision, so much so that we specifically searched across Los Angeles and surrounding areas to find a venue that could accommodate their setup requirements, including the 7-hour preparation time and outdoor space they needed. Leading up to the event, MFA was great, they were responsive, communicative, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, our experience on the wedding day was very different. We later learned that Martin had threatened to leave midway through cooking, which was extremely concerning. Additionally, both our venue staff and other catering staff mentioned that MFA was difficult to work with that day. While the food itself was excellent, the service fell short of what was promised. Our contract included two courses: First course: ribs, sausage, chicken, empanadas, and salads Second course: tri-tip/steak The second course was never properly served to our guests. When guests returned for the steak, they were told service was over and staff had already begun cleaning up. Some guests even tried requesting steak during the first course and were denied. To our knowledge, only maybe one or two guests were able to receive steak after insisting. We had also rented chafing dishes so that leftover food could be made available later in the evening. However, only chicken and salads were placed out, no beef. We didn't realize the extent of this issue until the day after the wedding. When we went to retrieve leftovers, we found multiple full trays of food, including large portions of uncut steak and ribs. There was clearly more than enough food to serve all guests the second course, yet it was never distributed. Many guests later told us the food was amazing--some of the best wedding food they've had--but also shared disappointment that they never received the advertised beef course. This was especially frustrating since our menu cards specifically instructed guests to "save room" for it. After the event, we learned that Martin had a planned medical procedure the following day. While we understand personal circumstances arise, it felt like the service was cut short so the team could leave early. This resulted in an estimated $2,000 worth of food going to waste, food that could have been served, offered to guests to take home, or at minimum communicated to us. Overall, while the food quality was outstanding, the execution and service on the day of the event were deeply disappointing and did not meet expectations for a wedding of this scale (160 guests).

I will start off by saying that their food is absolutely delicious, depending on what you pick. The wedding morning Catering, that I got, I am very grateful to Diego for going through the menu with me, and helping me choose items that he thought my pallet would like more. The tacos, the steak sliders, the little kebab sandwiches, the ashta dessert, I can keep going and going, were absolutely delicious. Their new lobster rolls were not, they sent the wrong chicken sliders, which I wasn't too excited about, And if we had a double checked the day before the wedding, they had forgotten to send a few of the fleet items that we're supposed to come. Other than them being kind of unorganized this time, I still highly recommend the team. I would just say double check everything that they're doing and just make sure that you're on top of everything. I am very grateful to my mom because she went through all of the stuff that they delivered the day before, which was like the plates, the napkins, things that they were gonna use to serve the food and they just had them packed enough. I guess there was some miscommunication between them in the warehouse that they work with. But again, all of it comes down to just being a little unorganized on their end. But again, things happen, their food did really make up for it. Except again, for the fact that they didn't mess up an item or two!
