I noticed a couple of very minor scraps a few days after delivery and they happily came out to perform touchup and ensure we were completely satisfied. I purchased my BBQ Island and Fire Pit back in 2017. I live in LA. Brad was my salesman. They did a great job with the design. They worked with my contractor to insure that everything came together. I changed up the drawings a couple of times in order to accommodate my space perfectly. It was a little stressful due to the stores distance from my home, but it worked out perfectly. My Island is huge. Everything is constructed very well. Even though it's been 7 years, it still looks brand new. My grill, refrigerator and burners work perfectly. My fire pit is a hit. From the beginning with Brad he was very knowledgeable and helped us with the design. we made a few changes during the design period and it was no problem. They gave us a time line regarding the construction and I was able to go in and see the different steps of construction. Juana kept us up on the status of the build. I was really excited to put in my new bbq island. The layouts that were shown to me were perfect and the price was reasonable. The island was not delivered according to the timeline that was established during the sales cycle however when once it was delivered the installation was done professionally and swiftly (July). One problem: Although it was supposed to come with a foot rest and it was built without one. I overlooked the mistake and moved on. The frustration escalated when I started having problems with the equipment. The refrigerators that were sold to me were not cooling properly; I had several food items go bad rather quickly. I called to report the issue in October to see if there might be a possible resolution. The representative was quick to say that she would call her rep to see what they could do. She never got back to me so I reached out to her again in December and she said that she hadn't heard back and would reach out again. She never got back to me again so I reached out to her again in January and again she never heard back but would reach out again. You guessed it: I never heard back again so I reached out again in February and this time she said that she had totally forgot about it and thanked me for reminding her. It is now April and I still haven't heard back. This is totally unprofessional and unreliable. Absolutely love them! We bought a custom fireplace over a year and a half ago with Brad. We use the fireplace a few times a week and our friends and neighbors love it. A couple of tiles were popping off and I reached out to them. With COVID and the fact we are quite a distance from their shop made scheduling the repair a little tricky BUT, Juana was able to get guys over, the tiles fixed as if nothing had ever happened. We have an existing BBQ island with palapa we bought 16 years ago and they matched it almost perfectly. So here I am writing my third review about these guys. 2013 I had my BBQ island made and installed with my 38 inch summerset grill. Well, I am still thrilled with my purchase. Today, 10-22-20 I just replaced all the tube flame burners and the faux coal trays that came with the grill. After 7 years is the first time I have had to do this. Why you ask....well, its 7 years old and I use this grill 2 to 3 times a week.....everyweek. In 7 years never one problem with my purchase. My grill is phenomenal and so is my island. Electrical outlets are working 100%, all my led lights 100%. I would definitely recommend this place 1000%. read more

We had to rethatched our roof last year to our tiki bar. That was expected, as you should do it every 4-5 years. So we did. Then we noticed this year that the roof was leaking, Jose came out to inspect it. He agreed that 3 out of the 6 areas needed to be replaced again and a new palapa. Our sales rep was good. Took about 2 months to have it done. Finally got it installed but notice a big scratch on the top part of the tile. Also their propane tank door screws or stripped. The installer said he would come back to and fix it. Month later I call Juana to remind her. She said she would send someone out soon and here we are almost a year later and we haven't heard from them. Also the refrigerated door moves around very loose and also do not buy the blazed barbecue. It sucks. It looks nice but sucks. So save your money and headaches go somewhere else read more

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. We went to Corona BBQ in June 2021 and selected an island. Service was prompt and attentive in the "design and get your deposit" stages. We were told we'd have the bbq we ordered within 6-8 weeks. When we reviewed paperwork again, we noticed it only said ASAP. A very creative way to make you FEEL like it was going to happen sooner in the conversation, but really a loophole when it doesn't actually get delivered until 10 weeks after since there are no actual dates on the contract. CAD drawings were not sent until 2 weeks into the project build and we called to see if they were sent. They hadn't even been done yet. We were told that we could come see the unit being built, the next call was to set up installation. We didn't even get notice it was in production to go down and see it. They only do installs M-F, which is highly inconvenient for those who have to work. Install was 10 weeks after we started the process, and it was not completed that day. Now we sit for over 2 weeks with an incomplete island in our backyard that we are unable to use. Additionally, contact with Juana has been dismal to say the least. First call she was rude and I had to ask her name. Then crickets, a call from us prompts a call back, but there is no sense of urgency to get the project done from this company. I would never use this company had I known we'd run into this lack of professional attentiveness. read more

We bought 3 custom tables from them and all have issues. 1) The table was measured and built wrong and they refused to fix. 2) Another fire table had an insert they never built because they admittedly ran out of stone. As summer ends and the nights grow longer I realize that I have yet to sing the praises of Corona BBQ Islands. This spring I went to Brad their salesman and told him of my dream backyard. I was looking for the routine built-in BBQ with side burners but I really wanted something spectacular for the corner of the yard. I wanted to create a focal point that had a real "WOW" factor. Brad listened to my ideas and was able to create exactly what I was looking for. It was exciting seeing my vision come to life on paper. He then went to the master craftsmen. They exceeded all my expectations! The tile work is superb. The front scalloped edges were exactly what I wanted and the water-fireplace feature is stunning! Delivery required a crane and the entire crew was thorough and professional. The fireplace unit is very large and the delivery guys worked diligently to get it placed correctly in the yard and lined up with the gas outlet. That was no small feat as the gas pipe was a bit higher than normal. My nights are now spent outside relaxing in my oasis. After talking with him he explained that they were all custom built to the customers design. Since I had already designed what I wanted, he quickly came up with a price. Met Jose at the OC Swap Meet at their show area, I was not looking for a pre-fab BBQ island but figured I would stop in and look anyway, I ended up having him come by to talk about what he could do for us. I was very impressed because I could tell he wasn't just a salesmen but he has a lot of experience building them himself so he was able to answer all my questions and I ended up going with them. Once the build started Jose sent me weekly progress pictures so I could see how it was coming along. They delivered, set and completed the stone today and we couldn't be happier. I am also having customer service issues. We worked with Brad and he was great until we paid our 50 percent deposit. Before we paid we were able to call:text his cell and he would get right back to us. Now that we have paid I have trouble getting any answers or call backs. After 4.5 weeks I got a phone call that the logs were going to be picked up and I would receive a call in two days to schedule installment. That was over a week ago and still no phone call. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Initial contact was bad. Juana was rude and never forward the message to a sales person. That should of been the key indicator for us to move on to another company. But not knowing who Juana was we called again. We finally got an appointment with a sales person and the the design of the custom outdoor fireplace we wanted and went into production. Upon delivery we had issues, costing us more money for the poor planning and the lack of sending proper staff to install. Poor communication and planning on the companies part. Juana and owner Rafael did nothing to help or communicate to resolve the issues. Thankfully an employee stepped up and helped us out. Then for our event which was the next day we used the fireplace and it got extremely hot to the point where it was melting the controls that were on the mantel and melting the stucco on the fireplace box. Also made the tv mounted above very hot. We were told that it could of caught fire and our over head and home could of been at risk of burning. On Monday we immediately got in contact with Juana, which she was rude, uncaring and never returned our calls regarding our concerns and with a solution. We have left several messages for Juana and her father the owner Rafael and no one has called us back. We have been to the busy and they avoid speaking to us and take responsibility for a faulty fireplace built by them. It has been 6 months and we have not been able to use our expensive outdoor fireplace again. We have now been forced to take legal action. Hopefully the legal system will listen to us and help us resolve our matter. Again, do not use this place they only care about getting money. We saw the BBQ Island display at the Orange County Market Place swap meet. Very nice and convenient. The ordering process was very enjoyable as Jose was very helpful by showing us options available to us. We selected to supply a material for the backsplash we really liked and Jose helped us find matching surfaces and materials. The installation was a bit tricky but they worked with us to make it work. The final product is amazing! Better than we imagined. It is a wonderful addition to our yard. And to top it off, the final cost was thousands less than the competitors. We were down to the wire at this point because we wanted to get it put in for Father's Day weekend and we only had 3 weeks to make it happen.
