The front staff at the Norco location are always incredibly helpful, patient, and welcoming. I tend to ask a million questions, and they never make me feel like a bother, they always take the time to make sure my schedule is taken care of and that I have everything I need. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and very organized. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and truly invested in the kids they work with. It gives me peace of mind knowing my son is in such a supportive and positive space. I would highly recommend Leaps and Bounds to any parent looking for services like PT, OT, speech therapy, or any specialized support for their child. We've had nothing but a great experience!

But the moment his cognitive needs grew and he required more support, they dropped him like a hot potato. After my wife requested a reasonable accommodation to our billing because our son couldn't attend on non-mounting days, they took our payment and immediately cut ties. When she pushed back, the owner lashed out with outrageous, false claims that our son had harmed staff and animals. We have years in this program with zero history of issues; the single incident they referenced involved an animal that was completely unharmed--if anything, the risk goes the other way around, as the staff stated on more than one occasion. Conveniently, this "safety concern" only materialized the exact moment we asked for a fair accommodation. It is heartbreaking to watch a little boy who has very few interests in life constantly ask to ride his favorite horses, only to be shut out by this organization's greed and lack of empathy. Families with children who have developmental or cognitive needs deserve far better than this.

I am leaving this review in hopes that the business owner and staff will use it as an opportunity to improve services for our community. Over the past three months, I made repeated attempts to connect with Learning Tree for an intake appointment. I left multiple voicemails and submitted the online intake form, and received no response at any point. After months of silence, I decided to stop by in person while running errands nearby. When I arrived, the front office was unstaffed. I could hear staff upstairs -- footsteps and conversation -- and called out several times hoping someone would come down to assist me. After waiting several minutes with no response, I called the office phone number. It rang through to voicemail, and still no one came downstairs to answer. When two receptionists eventually came to the front, I explained my three months of unanswered outreach. I was told that my intake form had likely been misrouted to the wrong location and that they had no record of my voicemails. I also noticed that the missed call I had placed while waiting in the lobby was visible on their phone -- yet neither receptionist made any attempt to return that call. I chose not to mention that it was me who had called, as I wanted to observe whether callbacks were part of their standard practice. It appears they are not. While I was being helped, the other receptionist took a phone call. Based on what I overheard, the caller on that line had also been waiting for a callback since November after submitting an interest form. The receptionist acknowledged this and said she would follow up -- though I was unable to confirm whether she did so before I left. I want to be clear: I am not writing this review out of frustration alone. I genuinely hope this feedback reaches the right people and leads to meaningful changes. Families and individuals seeking services from Learning Tree deserve timely communication and a welcoming, staffed front office. I encourage the owner to review intake routing, voicemail monitoring, callback procedures, and front desk coverage so that community members are not left waiting months for a response -- or standing unattended in the lobby.

Not only did Kelly help me work around my summer internship schedule but she encouraged me to shoot her a text if I was having any questions or difficulties. Both during my time at Selah Speech and Language and after. The worksheets she refers to as "homework" are amazingly helpful and I would suggest on keeping up with them! She even gave me a cute little purple squirt bottle for some tongue strengthing exercises. (I still have it!). She also gives out great snacks. I am not seeing any improvement in my son to keep dealing with this stress. If I can't find another therapy center close by, I will teach him to zip his zippers at home and schedule him activities he actually enjoys that will incorporate the skill building he needs. And the front office staff is rude, the back office people clearly don't talk and consult with eachother, because I was told it was fine when I cancelled after him throwing up three times on the way to therapy and then got a call the next day that he'd be dropped from the schedule with no additional warning and plan for makeups once he improved. And lobby always smells like diaper shit; I can barely stand to sit in there. Good riddance.

I'm a PICU nurse and college nursing instructor, so I understood what he needed to help with his recovery. He needed help on multiple levels including his primitive reflexes, reading, spelling, focus, core strength, auditory and visual processing, and tools to cope with his emotions. Stowell Learning Center was recommended to us by my son's audiologist, Dr. Pamela Best. There is not one doctor in Las Vegas who tests for auditory processing disorder. We have only been with Stowell Learning Center for almost a month. We travel there once a month, but we predominately complete his treatments at home and consult with a representative from the center once a week. My husband and I have seen big changes. My son was going to the nurse's office 3 to 4 times a week prior to visiting the center for his anxiety and fatigue. He was sucking on things and chewing paper. He has not been to the nurse's office since the New Year! He is more focused in school and with homework. He is emotionally more stable and can reason better. The treatment is time consuming on the parent, but it is worth it. The representatives at the learning center have been patient and flexible with me. I have even received tips on helping my son get more organized. I can't give enough positive words to the staff at Stowell Learning Center. I highly recommend this place, especially if your child has suffered from a head injury or has ADHD. My son was diagnosed with ADHD post the head injury. He is not on medications right now, and I hope to keep it that way. Liz is AMAZING at the center. After about 2-3 weeks of visits, we were informed that our therapist (whom my daughter responded really well to) was no longer with the practice and we would be informed when another speech therapist was available to work with us. After about 8 weeks, I received a call saying they were going to be letting us go as patients due to still not having a therapist available. I was upset because my daughters treatment had been set back and we waisted 2 months waiting, when we could have been seeking treatment elsewhere. I explained that I was willing to travel to the other office (45 min away) if they had a speech therapist there that could work with us. The receptionist said that they weren't accepting new speech therapy patients at their other office so I told her we would wait until a new therapist was available at the corona location. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we start treatment for my daughter again. This is where my review is positive. While under treatment, my daughter not only loved going (she's 3 and very reserved), but she was making GREAT improvement. The speech therapist was thorough and went over what we could work on at home in order to help her improve even more. After a few months of treatment, I received a TEXT saying that that weeks appointment would be canceled because our insurance was no longer working with them and they hadn't received insurance payments. This would have been a bummer, but I explained it was actually our last week with that insurance and that we had new, really good, insurance that would take effect at the beginning of the year. I was told to text over a copy of our new insurance card and we would see if it was accepted. I text over everything, excited to continue my daughters treatment and never heard anything back! So in short, great therapists, flaky communication and reliability. They also had a high therapist turnover rate (we had a few In a matter of months) which tells me that management must be bad! I was a nurse prior to staying home with my children and know bad leadership when I see it!
