My stay here was flawless honestly. I skimmed over all the 1 star reviews and I get their perspective. None of their issues bothered me one but though. This is a cheap hotel in Corona, Queens so I don't really know what people would expect. We had a group of 4 of us come here for the Gov Ball music festival and it worked out perfectly for us. We were able to walk to Citi field from the hotel. We checked in early with no extra charge and the two rooms we got were ready for us. I like how the windows open because we were able to hear the music from the festival from our room during the day. We had an AC in our room and that thing blasted cold air! Kept us cool all night long. We accidentally left our room key in our room so I went downstairs to the front desk to get a replacement and the girl was so nice! Gave me no hassle and offered me one or two keys. The TV worked, the shower and toilet worked and was clean. They offer larger than average shampoo and conditioner etc. Even though you bring you own stuff most hotels only give you those teeny little bottles. Plus there was toothpaste and two toothbrushes wrapped in plastic already in the room if we needed. We also got a thank you bag with two bottles of water and some snacks. As far as parking- the parking lot is extremely teeny. I mean like it only has about 13 spots max but we pulled in and got a spot no issue lollll. They also lock the gate at night which I like. I felt like my car was safe in there. After the festival we came back and showered and walked the streets looking for some late night food. The beautiful thing about Queens is that you can get Mexican food at 11:30 pm in a sit down restaurant. For what we needed this hotel for, it worked out perfectly. read more

AWFUL! bad service and dirty beds. I woke up and there was bed bug bites all over me. The staff Brought me new "clean" blankets and was still dirty. When I first came the shower had hair in it that wasn't mine and the sink was all wet. The elevators take such a long time to come up and come down so might as well use the stairs. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Absolutely do not come here unless you are ready for bed bugs and a lot of dust. There are stains on the bed and holes and it is just disgusting to sleep in. Very uncomfortable! Don't waste your time on coming here it will ruin your trip. read more

This place is super gross. I found hair that wasn't mine or my boyfriends on me while showering. I am sure they do not clean their sheets. I was itching when I left that place. This isn't a place one would stay over night if you catch my drift. read more

Beware...the Corona Hotel has changed during the pandemic! While the upper floors continue to be rented by the day, the lower floors are now rented by the hour!! This may explain the steady stream of undesirable hotel traffic. It may also explain the unfriendly staff and the abrupt absence of customer service? At this point, we have given up on requesting that the room be cleaned at a specific time to better fit our daily schedule. This is in a crappy neighborhood. It's great if you speak Spanish because the Spanish language is everywhere which is great for example they're all over the signs and stuff and has a lot of Spanish restaurants. Now inside the hotel the front area lobby was probably the nicest part of this hotel. The front area was even nicer than the room that I had and I'm assuming all the rooms look the same. The front desk person was very nice and very professional. Now let's talk about my room. The room STUNK horribly!!!! Mildew? I don't even know what that nasty smell was. Aesthetically it was beautiful, so what is beautiful if it smells horrible? There were cigarette ashes on the plate thingy for the cups? There were two laundry bags sat in the hallway and staff disturbing me asking if I was leaving when I stepped out of my room. Umm idk what it is about these hotels cleaning rooms at hours when they know people are probably sleeping. Do they even check with the front desk to know whose just checked in? Annoying! I stay there for a couple hours and then I realize there's no way I wanna be spending the night. It was way overpriced for the "quality". I paid almost $218 for this room. Oh and the garbage can in the living room needs to be in a place where it's easy to find. It was behind a wardrobe door or something and I didn't see it until I was leaving. I am never staying at this hotel again. Oh and the elevator was the slowest elevator I've ever seen in my life! It's only like 4 floors, why the F does the elevator take so long to get to each floor? I would give negative stars if I could. This review is for the hotel, and 311 service in New York City. The hotel located right next to the railroad 7, so I understand that I will have to deal with the railroad noise. But what am I end up dealing with is not the railroad at all. By 2am in the morning, there is a very loud party going on right behind the hotel and did not show a sign of ending. I called both front desk and 311 noise complaint service, and neither of them will do anything. The lady at the noise complaint service told me their response time is about 8hours. Lol the noise is in the middle of night what is the point for them to show up after 8 hours. The worst experience ever. read more

I spent made sn overnight trip and stayed in me of their smoking rooms. 1. There were no hangers in the wardrobe. 2. The staff almost entered my room thinking it wasn't occupied. Apparently they were not told it was an overnight stay. 3. I was not allowed to bring a friend up to catch up- granted it was late at night, however I paid for an overnight stay and my guest was not a hookip. I requested they allow the to enter for at least 30 minutes and I'd pay extra and they gave me an absurd fire regulation rule that does not apply to this instance. Overall the only great thing about this establishment is its location. Other than that it's not worth your money. read more

Bed bugs are in this hotel. My husband and I were woken up in the mddle of the night from being bitten by bed bugs. I called downstairs and asked for someone to come and see the bed bug on the pillow. The staff saw it and killed it and all i saw was blood i went downstairs to show the manager the photos and got no apology and only 40 dollars refunded. It was disgusting and i felt cheated and to top it off i have a young child. read more

You'd think for a hotel smack dab in the middle of the hood, under the loudest dirtiest train tracks ever would be able to compromise. Not the case. My best friends & I came here despite of the horrible reviews. We wanted to kill some time on our day off. We weren't even able to purchase a room because the front desk lady has such a disgusting, unwelcoming attitude. Rolling her eyes blatantly in our face. On top of it, the owner discriminated against us purchasing the room - when we had gone back to purchase DESPITE of the front desk ladies attitude. Pretty much told us we're not welcome. Avoid this place like the plague. Rooms can be rented out for a 4 hour period.. meaning hookers galore. I arrived at 3:00 pm to check into my room. I made it past the huge clouds of pot to my room where the sheets were covered in hair and had spots of blood on the sheets. (I later learned that these were bed bugs). I turned on the tv and started watching a movie but was interrupted by the moaning of a Spanish woman having extremely loud sex from a room down the hall. This was at 3:30 pm. I was alone in my room and hookers were lining up outside a room next to mine. I've never felt more unsafe in my life. This was the worst experience in my life. I went downstairs to explain the situation but they told me the manager wasn't in when I asked for a refund. I called back once a day for several days. Apparently this manager doesn't exist. AVOID THIS PLACE! The google reviews are so good because they are flooded with fake reviews. I would literally pay people to not go here, be safe. read more

I rarely write reviews but want to steer out of towners away from this one. I stayed for one night due to it being walking distance to NYSCI for the Maker Faire. They put me next to the lobby and it was non-stop loud activity all through the night. Being right in front of the elevator, from what I could see, I agree with another reviewer that this may be a regular hotel for short-term hookups. The wifi was pretty much unusable. The bed linens were clean but had holes. There were stains on one of the lampshades (not even sure how that happens). I will give credit for the bathroom being in good shape and clean. read more

Honestly, they should not even get 1 star. The sheets and comforter had stains, the floor had a huge blood - looking Red stain and the wash cloths were even dirty. There were hairs on the bed as well. I even heard a gun shot sound in the middle of the night. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and certainly will never return. read more

Our flight was canceled at LGA due to weather so my husband and I stayed there last night as a last minute option. We didn't have time to look at reviews. It was a horrible experience. First off when we booked it we asked for their shuttle to pick us up from the airport. We were located at Terminal C. They told us to head to Terminal B, which you have to take a bus to get to. They told us that the shuttle is in route. So an hour later we called again about the shuttle which again they said was in route. The hotel is only a mile or two away from the airport. So we called a third time, after the full hour and a half, to change numbers as my husband's phone died. As they call you when they get to the airport to find out where you are located. The guy at the front desk was super rude to me. He told me the same information he has been telling us for the last hour and a half and wouldn't let me talk to tell him why I was calling in the first place. So I had to yell at him to even get him to listen to what I was trying to tell him. Then the hotel called back to tell us that we actually needed to go to Terminal C as that is where the shuttle will pick us up. So we had to take a bus back to go to the same Terminal that we came from almost 2 hours before that. When we got to the hotel the front desk was located downstairs which was inconvenient and the elevator was super slow. There was a train outside the hotel that went by every few minutes. It was really loud. After we checked in, we went to our room. I looked in the drawer for a tv guide (which there was none in the whole room) and found a box of condoms. No condoms were in it but that should have been cleaned up before our check in. We paid $229 for a really small room and extremely small bathroom. The hallway smelled like weed as soon as we got out of the elevator on to our floor. They propped open the doors of the staircase even though the signs said to keep the doors closed for fire safety. The door locks for the room were very flimsy. It definitely was not worth the experience or the money that we spent. read more

The trip advisor and Google reviews were misleading. I should have known that this hotel was crap because of the name. The pictures were sort of accurate but the rooms were unsanitary. My boyfriend made me switch the room because of the smell of smoke. After asking around, supposedly, this is a four hour spot for hooking up. read more

I spent 4 nights here. First off the location is excellent if you want to shop or find something to eat. The restaurants are excellent, very good food. Close to the 7 train, perfect for getting to that Met game, Citifield is right across the highway, so is the tennis stadium. My ONLY gripe is I expected room service to clean the room every day. They only cleaned it once and I was told they would clean it when I checked out. Okay...doesn't seem normal to me since I was in need of more towels and soap. One of the cleaning people gave me some shampoo, conditioner and body soap. I took the towels from the cleaning cart... I left a $10.00 tip upon checking out. Would have left more if the rooms had been cleaned daily. Also the toilet broke and I had to be switched to another room the day I checked out. No biggie. All in all the hotel room was clean, and it was surprisingly quiet. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot cocoa, cereal, yogurt, fruits, etc. were available if one desired to snack. I would definitely come back but please clean the rooms every day when asked. Staff were incredibly nice and professional, front desk as well. read more
