While my husband and I were waiting for one final estimate, for comparison, Geary called to say he was no longer available for our job. He was too busy with other projects to take on another. I appreciated his honesty and his follow up. We had just decided to go with another company anyways, but it was nice to know he was honest.

What really set me off, was that they ran my air conditioner while they were applying paint/texture. This caused me to have to spend over 1K to repair to my unit. They left my fridge on the patio, never hung my blinds back up and one of the crew members stole my Bluetooth stereo. He was hard to communicate with throughout the project and even sub-contracted another company to do the majority of the work. His company barely did the prep work. The 3 year warranty they offer means nothing if they don't come back and hold their end of the contract. This has been the absolute worst experience after shortly buying my new home. I filled a complaint with the BBB.

I had a 4 location move, with about 20 big items that I had listed out to the agent I spoke with when getting a quote. The movers were to come to my place and get my things, then to my boyfriends place to get his things, then drop off most of our stuff at our new house and take the rest to my parents house about 25 minutes away. She told me it would be best to do an hourly rate, so she put me in the 7am - 12pm time window with a quote of $350 for 3.5 hours. $26.5/hr that we went over. At Noon when I still had not heard from anyone at the company, I called to check on the status of my movers. The agents told me that they weren't able to get in touch with them but that they were "running behind and it would be longer," I was never given an exact time. I had reserved my moving elevators from 7 am to 2:00 to ensure that the movers were able to take my stuff out of my apartment. It wasn't until 2:30 that I finally talked to a manager who told me that they had a flat tire and would be arriving "soon." At 3:00 the movers showed up, I did not have access to the moving elevators any longer so already we were at a disadvantage. They load up my things, and we realize very soon after that they did not have enough room in the truck for my boyfriend's items! I called APT movers back, they admitted to making a mistake, saying they sent the small truck instead of the large one like they should have if they had looked closer at our inventory list. The best the company said they could do was charge me ANOTHER $150 to have a new set up of movers come the next day to take the rest of his things. They took 0 responsibility for their mistake and left me 0 options. The people I spoke with were rude and condescending and I ended up paying WAY more than expected. My movers who came to do the job said this happens all the time, and that the front office is incredibly unorganized and inefficient. I would NEVER move with these people again, and I would NEVER recommend them. This company has the worst customer service of all time and made an already stressful experience worse.

First, I feel guilty having someone else clean my house even if I am paying them. I feel this way about other services, too, like pedicures. It also makes me feel weird to have someone I don't know in my house. Finally, I didn't like paying someone to do something for me that I could easily do myself. It felt wasteful. EVEN THOUGH I AM LAZY AND NOT GOOD AT CLEANING. Mess Masters is owned by Sara. She came to our house and gave an estimate and explained how everything would work. They use natural, eco-safe products and require you to provide some of the supplies. They have several different options for cleaning. It's not cheap, but I don't think it's expensive either. The price depends on how often you clean and how big your house is. Also, they do one deep clean the first time since you probably don't clean as well as they do. I have never lived in a place as clean as my house after Maria cleans it. Maria is the best, and she is also very nice. She does little extra things sometimes and surprises us. This just makes me happy. I still feel guilty, but the guilt is less when I walk around my hard wood floors and I don't have pieces of dirt sticking to my feet. The floors are so clean they squeak! I love Mess Masters; they are very easy to work with and do a fantastic job. Unfortunately, Mess Masters does not currently clean north of 635 or in high rise buildings. You might want to move so you can use them!

The lady who cleans for us is very thorough and our house always looks amazing when she is finished. They have been very flexible with us during home remodeling projects and let us move our cleanings around. Sara herself even came and cleaned all day alongside one of her helpers after we had our wood floors refinished. I also love that they use eco friendly supplies that leave our home smelling fresh and clean and not a fake overpowering cleaning agent smell. I would definitely recommend Mess Masters!
