Then I saw the reviews for Dr. Belnap on Yelp & lo and behold he was able to fit me in the week I returned . After looking at x rays of my shoulder and back from years ago & examining me he sent me to get an MRI . I was relieved it was an MRI and not a CAT scan as they have been shown to increase your chances of getting cancer. The MRI place he recommended was able to get me in for the next week.. my co-pay was under $100 for my back and my shoulder . Soon after this I saw Dr. Belnap again & he gave me a cortisone injection in my shoulder and some medication which helped greatly . A few months later the same in my back ! Last year I somehow hurt my back so badly I could barely walk. Once again, he was able to fit me in quickly and gave me an injection, which helped somewhat. However, it was Christmas holidays and I was going away for a special celebration and my back couldn't handle it. He was able to fit me in during the holiday season quickly, gave me an epidural and I was able to go and be fine. he's very caring and and we'll do whatever he can to help.

I have had muscle tension and pain for years, I work at a desk all day and workout frequently so…read morehave pretty severe neck, upper back, upper body tightness. I have tried many different strategies to combat the pain but nothing worked. I tried acupuncture, massage chairs, having my friend massage me, foam rolling and relaxation techniques. Massages work only for a couple hours before the pain would come back. I became very skeptical of any pain relief strategies because the pain would always resurface within a few hours. I was lucky to have found Ron through my work. I have seen him for about 2-3 months, for a half hour session 2-3 times a month. After my first 30 minute session with him, the pain miraculously dissolved. I anticipated the pain and tension to resurface after a few hours (just as it always does after a massage) but that did not happen. I felt great for days and weeks. The difference is that the sessions with Ron are very interactive, unlike a typical massage session. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, he teaches you how to manage the pain on your own by showing you some simple strategies to work your muscle knots and tightness away at home. Our thirty minute session is very interesting but highly effective. It's different but in a good way. Every time I come back from a short session, I feel a greater range of motions for days and weeks. I am very lucky to have been able to experience the range of techniques Ron has shown me. He is very kind and charismatic. I look forward to working with him more to combat my muscle pain and learn more strategies. I highly suggest seeing Ron as opposed to typical massages if you want long lasting pain relief!!

Being young with MS and all the unpredictable muscle pain it has caused me has been difficult. I was struggling with this from 2021 until 2023 until I found him that year. The pain after the second Moderna vaccine was unbearable for me. Dr. Ky has changed everything for me (Tracy, the specialist therapist is a godsend as well), and I can say with full and complete confidence that this is beyond five star treatment. ESPECIALLY in America - it took me years to find someone like him and Tracy. They're on top of all the latest studies, and are happy to educate you whenever you ask. It's wonderful. This guy is a rising star, and now the staff is truly comprised of compassionate, angelic beings. Seriously, they are the nicest nurses ever. I think the beginning phase there just had a few post-opening hiccups. If you come in for a consultation, you will see why I instantly loved these people and wanted them to succeed so desperately. Pain management deals with individuals who are extremely stretched thin, worn out, and we don't rest well and therefore can feel quite sensitive. Being stressed about potentially not having your medication/being dropped as a patient is a constant fear a majority of us have, so it's seriously terrifying to assert yourself when asking for updates or whatever. That is not something you should worry about here, so long as you are cordial, obviouslt. He comes into the room, almost like he's on speed, and tries to get you out of the room AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. He asks you questions almost as if it were an interrogation and literally presses you on every answer that you provide. I overheard him belittling a patient in the other room while I was waiting!! PSA, if you're Paincare of San Diego, maybe you should upgrade your insulation! He really doesn't give a hoot about you and is only focused on getting you in-and-out. Really hated this experience and would not recommend. My review is not a testament, look at all of the other reviews. Sure, there MAY be some qualified physicians at this "facility", but DANNY SONG IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
