Plenty of space for six people with a full kitchen (saved money by doing some grocery shopping!), as well as a full washer/dryer. Reasonably priced. Close to the strip but thankfully away from all that chaos - exactly what we wanted. The rooms were clean, and the facilities well-maintained. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will have to take advantage of the pool next visit. Would highly recommend!

I'd look elsewhere if the price were higher given the age of the property and the road noise. Pros: We enjoyed the space and off-strip location at a fantastic price in Feb. We had a 2 bedroom which felt like an apartment complete with living room, dining table and full kitchen. We appreciated the living room sofa and TV and ample space to relax. Its only about 10 minutes from major strip properties if traffic is light which is great. Cons: Decatur Ave is a divided street so you can only turn right out of the parking lot so it can be difficult to access (you always need to make u-turns etc). I am a light sleeper and was bothered by the loud road noise of random motorcycles or cars racing by. The units look 15ish years old and show wear in a number of places.

It seems as though their renovations have been completed. If you stayed here when it was the Mandarin Oriental, you will remember you had to go to the 3rd floor to check-in. WA kept that process until the most recent reno. You now checkin upon entry, like most places, however, you still go to the 3rd floor to access the guest room elevators and restaurant. I really love all the new touches and also enjoy the touches they kept from the previous franchise. The check-in staff was above and beyond friendly and looked for ways to make sure you would best enjoy your stay. After a long drive and plane ride, it's nice to chat with people who are genuinely engaged in getting to know about your stay. We had made reservations for spa treatments for after we are arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed that time. I would go as far as to say the WA spa is one of the best spas on the strip. Fabulous. The WA is a wonderful strip hotel in a great space and a lot of convenience in and around.

Speaking of location this place is in a very good location putting many establishments within a short walk or inexpensive rideshare. This is one of those hotels where there is plenty to do within the walls of the hotel........except gambling. There is no casino in this hotel as with many hotels and I enjoyed that aspect. The great part is that this location is located near what was once known as CityCenter and is now known as the Aria Campus. This is where plenty of newer buildings are located and plenty to do in this area. Check in and customer service were spot on. Of course, this being the Waldorf Astoria there are aspects of customer service you expect to find here that goes beyond other hotels. I especially like it when all your included amenities are explained without having to ask or even explain it to the front desk. The hotel staff comes early in case your room needs a refresh but if you leave your room later, they will leave a nice little paddle on your door to let you know they stopped by. It is very easy to reschedule a time for them to come back and may not be needed since they clean your room everyday. I mentioned to the front desk that I needed something and from the time I spoke with the front desk to going to our room on the 17th floor it was already in the valet door. A good stay but there were a few attention to detail aspects that could be worked on. I noticed there was a significant accumulation of dust at one of the vents. Also masking tape was used to keep the shower door sweep in place. Not something you would expect to see in the flagship brand within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.

Or a little gambling here and there. They do have a nice strip that suppose to resemble the cobble streets of the city. With restaurants, pizza shops, and everything you think New York City has. Its a cute little wander to see what they have. Il Fornaio is a restaurant that we also frequent at this hotel. What's also good about this place, they have a section that caters to kids. The little arcade areas and the roller coasters. Not a lot of hotels have things for minors which helps when you have family that's underage. Mainly we've been popping in for the sports bar for all the sports that's been happening lately. It's a decent hotel and casino. Pretty affordable and you feel like you're getting your moneys worth. I don't know if rooms are updated as it's been years since I was last here. But they do have some nice restaurants along the cobble streets. More of a take out and find a place to sit restaurant, but pretty cool.

I had a very solid stay here and would stay here again on business…read more In the past, I would stay on the strip, but for some reason when I came for this work trip, the strip was outrageously expensive about three times more than what I would typically pay. Since I needed to be in Summerlin, & seeing there was a new Element made sense. The suite was large and really comfortable. I greatly appreciated having the kitchen area because I did bring home some leftovers a few times. having a dedicated Desk was really helpful as I was catching up on work emails and of course the separate sofa with the TV is just nice to have before unwinding for bed. Good sleep hygiene. The bedroom was very comfortable and very clean. I slept great on the mattress, it was definitely new and the sheets were crisp. I did receive daily made Service which provided thorough cleaning. All the bathroom fixtures are functioned well without issue. No tub which suited me fine here. The AC worked well and as you can imagine was on pretty much non stop. It was slightly loud but manageable. Check-in was quick. I was able to find a parking spot easily nightly even though it was a weekend and clearly fairly occupied. The breakfast buffet was good. They had the typical high carb stuff, but they also had a nice little yogurt bar, which I appreciated. the coffee was good and complementary, which seems to be going out of Fashion so I appreciated not having to pay for coffee. The location was well situated. It's right off the highway although I didn't notice noise and there's nearby restaurants. There's also a pretty good shopping center not very far away.maybe 5-10 mins. I think I was maybe 25 minutes from the strip and I was quite close to red rock so I was able to swing over one morning, which was very enjoyable. Particularly given how close the hotel was to it. It didn't feel like a huge lift to go and explore. The fitness center had a peloton bike which I loved/used and they had other nice new equipment and free weights and filtered water. There was an outdoor pool that I didn't use. I only have positive things to share about my stay here. I was here for 3 nights and it was very comfortable!

The bar and table staff were great but housekeeping was non-existent. We called multiple times to get a dead roach removed and a new pillow because one had a nasty stain. Eventually the new pillows were there when we came back to the room but so was the roach. Next day at the pool, I went to move an empty lounge chair forward to join our group and one of the lifeguards yelled at us that furniture can't be moved (spoiler alert, that's not a real rule according to every other staff member). Also, the whole pool area had a solid scent of sewage. The casino is a small and quiet floor with low minimums. But the elevators are limited with 2 of the 5 in the whole place closed for "improvements". Water pressure in the shower was barely more than a trickle and the sink drains slower than a snoozing snail. In the end, it's not a bad value but definitely not a good one. If you are just passing through or just need a soft bed to sleep on and nothing else then this might be the place for you but otherwise, probably best to stay away.

The hallways smelled better than the room (which says a lot considering the hallways smelled like an old basement). The room itself smelled like a dog kennel filled with urine and feces. Do not think about taking your shoes off. The bathroom had hair leftover, dog pee in the shower, stained corners. I feel like if I used their shower, I'd come out dirtier. We instantly felt itchy. We didn't want our bags touching the floor. When we tried to tell staff, one gave attitude and complained how she's only one of two housekeepers. If we wanted to get it cleaned we'd "have to leave" first. So we asked for the cleaning supplies ourselves and in response to that she said " it's hotel policy, we can't give the supplies." They don't want to clean anything but won't give you anything to clean. Got it. The lamp in our room crumbled and fell apart. We called for an engineer to come and replace it because we have two toddlers that could potentially swallow the little pieces. No one ever came. On top of the unsanitary, biohazard, OSHA violating room: we thought we were getting a deal but they hit you with resort fees, parking fees, and I'm sure they'll find a way to keep the deposit. WHAT A SCAM. Usually we're not picky with locations especially when we're at a place like Vegas where you spend more time outside than in. But you couldn't even get rest and freshen up here. A truckers rest stop is cleaner. We had to leave after the first night and give up the rest of the visit for the safety of our children. OF COURSE, they're nonrefundable. With conditions like this, they had to find some way to make their money.
