Others may feel differently, and I'm not suggesting there was any ill intent. It simply left me feeling that we weren't the right fit. There were also a few comments that came across as dismissive or condescending, though I don't think that was the intention. For example, when discussing the condition of my hair, the delivery felt more like a scolding than guidance. As the saying goes, it's not always what you say, but how you say it. Overall, I found her communication style sharper and more pompous than I personally prefer, and I tend to gravitate toward a warmer, more down-to-earth vibe. To be clear, this is not a criticism of Susan's technical skills. She gave me a great haircut, and I genuinely love the result. For me, it was simply a matter of communication style and personal fit.
