Had an issue with our dishwasher, which turned out to be very small. Felt like he spent way more time than he needed to let us know it was fine and there was something possibly not letting the door close fully, which was no longer an issue. Cost of visit $300. I'm a Bend resident and the CORTech owner also has had my TV now for over 5 months. I paid him $250 upfront and I've been calling and going by his shop for weeks. I finally caught him and asked for my TV he said it was in the back of his warehouse and if I could return the next day and or call to setup a time to pick up. Oh my gosh I can't give enough praise to Roy &hus helper George. They came in immediately fixed the drawer on my stove that had been stuck open for 2 months. Then moved on an fixed my washer/dryer combo. BTW they are the only decent company I found qualified to work on these units in Central Oregon. And then took the time to pull my refrigerator out for me which is not easy it's built into a cabinet. So I could check the model and serial number because I believed the unit was on a recall list which it was. They are amazing! Super nice guys! Honest too! The price they charged me was so fair! Roy came to our house to work on our built in Microwave. After he was unable to identify the problem, he offered to take the microwave to his shop to see if he could fix it there. That was in June. We have been calling him for months, leaving message after message. He has not responded once. After reading the previous reviews, it's clear that he has a history of taking people's appliances/tvs and then disappears. Don't not call Roy. He is a crook. read more

Took my jennair convection microwave to Roy at Cortech to repair. To replace it with a similar micro would cost about $1,000 so when Roy said he could fix it for $450 I took him up on the offer. After a couple of weeks I started to call to find out approx when it would be ready. He would never call me back. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because Covid had hit and everything was closing down. I still kept calling and texting him asking him to please call me and let me know if he was able to fix it and when. He has never called me back and is not at his shop when I go by there. I finally called my bank and since I had used my debit/MasterCard I could file a fraud claim. The bank did return my money but I have never gotten the microwave back. We have used Cortech previously for appliance repairs with great results. Roy started off well 5 months ago with a TV repair. The TV has been brought back to him 3 times now and we have yet to have a functioning TV in our home for more than about 10 seconds each trip. For the past 2 months, Roy has not been available for us to pick up the TV and will no longer answer his phones. At our last conversation he claimed that the TV was fixed but could not provide a time that we could pick up the TV or that he could drop it off. read more

I had a refrigerator that needed repair for my business. 1 guy came out and said he needed to order a part. He hit my cc for $95, I signed. Never heard anything for 3-4 months thereafter. Had to call back and ask what's going on? the owner says that the first guy "closed" the ticket and he's sorry. Wait another 2 months and the owner comes out to "see" does some work, orders a part. Crickets. Nothing for another extended period of time. comes back out, problem solved and fixed. No apologies for the length of time and lack of communication and no compensation off of the bill for my inconvenience. Come to find out later that the first guy hit my cc twice for the $95. I left several calls to owner and crickets again. No response. I am highly disappointed and will NEVER do business with this company again. All I really wanted was a company that actually cared about their clients. I am running a non-profit. I have little time and money and felt like I had to do their work to even follow up. read more

Poor communication, incorrect billing. CorTech correctly diagnosed a broken washing machine for us. The part was ordered and they estimated a repair date of ~ 10 days into the future. After, 14 days had passed, I called to inquire about the repair. They stated that the part was on back order and they did not have an estimated ship date. I found the part on-line that day, ordered it, installed it, and had the machine working in 3 days later. Then, I received a bill for their service. It incorrectly included the service call, the part and install of the part. They had only performed the service call. I asked them to correct the bill. The initial service was ~ January 2017. I received a correct billing on May 11, 2017. Nearly 5 months later. read more

After reading self help programs online, we discovered it was the water filter. I paid $85 for him to tell me it was broken.. that's why I called them to begin with. I will never use these people again. They had to come out three different times to do some warranty work. Not once did they show up on time (or even close to the scheduled time). One day they didn't even show up at all. my wife had taken the day off because we were tired of not having a new dishwasher not work and we wanted to be sure someone was going to be here when they inevitably showed up late. well, they never even showed up. to top it off they never even called to tell us they were going to be late or that the we should reschedule. so after they were an hour late my wife called them (Roy the ops manager). he sent her to voice-mail several times. so my wife waited until another hour went by and called again. same thing. She were being ignored obviously. well, to some this up, these people are rude, unprofessional and will never get any of our business in the future. Not once did they say sorry or take responsibility for their shortcomings. Roy, if you read this, I hope you lose your job and quite frankly I hope this place goes out of business. I had a pioneer 9605 that would go into protect mode on start up and needed it fixed. I live in Madras, so I had friends drop off the amp for service and repair. Took them three trips for the actual store to be open during regular business hours. I did have good communication with the company during this period and the repair took awhile but I paid 75 dollars and picked up the amp on fathers day weekend. I just got the time to re-install the amp last weekend(7-30-17) and the amp immediately did the same thing as when I sent it in. The voltage values are over 12.5 all the time and as high as 13.6 so I know that is not the cause. I have another vehicle that uses amps so I hooked the 9605 up and nothing. I have tried to get in contact for the last 3 days wth CORTech and have not received a single call or communication back. I was not the one who picked the amp up and I never verified the 9605's operation before I paid for it. I will not make that mistake again, nor can I recommend this company to anyone. Steer clear of this place unless you like doing things multiple times, or wasting time and money. I will update if the situation changes read more
