Now on to the cons, and unfortunately it's a pretty big one. On two occasions after using the atm in the back of the store, I had to deal with fraudulent charges to my debit card. Let me tell you, it was a huge hassle and I wouldn't want anyone to go through that. I had an older swipe type debit card, so if you have an updated tap/chip debit card there is less chance that there would be an issue, but still be on the lookout. (Also I realize those machines are not kept up by 7 11 employees and this doesn't reflect on how nice I think the folks who work here are, nor do I think they were trying to pull something sketchy. I told him he should contact the company that I got the coupon from and notify them to take that 711 store off the list because they don't take coupons and the owner replied in a very rude way that I should do that. I told him it's his store why should I do his job for him. If he had been normal and said I'm sorry I don't take coupons and I will contact that company and let them know to take the 711 off of the list of stores that accept the coupons I would have just went somewhere else and never left this review but the owners attitude was so condescending and he really showed me he doesn't value his long time customers. I will never ever shop there again. There are many other choices and frankly I rather spend my hard earned money at a place that doesn't give customers attitude and treat them like crap because I wanted to use a coupon at the store. Before you refuse to sell to customer, even if it's due to merely allegations, ask yourself if your actions could be misconstrued as a breach of discrimination laws State laws and local governments may further extend protection to people based on their genetic information or political affiliation Discriminating against a protected class can get you in legal hot water. But refusing to serve a customer for perfectly legal reasons can also mean trouble for your business.
