The food menu is limited but comes correct. They just switched it up. Friends, you NEED to get a Burger Pocket. It looks like a flying saucer. Inside is a tender, juicy burger grilled to perfection and embraced by gooey American cheese. It comes with dipping sauce and pickles on the side. I never realized how annoying burger topping slippage was until the Burger Pocket solved a problem I didn't know I had. The house made chips & onion dip are also delicious, although I needed at least twice as much dip. The vibes are cozy. The clientele is local & diverse. Solid option on Wickenden / College Hill.

Drinks were great. They have seats outside or inside. They have a special board inside of drinks and dishes for the day. They have a full bar and food is pub food. Perfect for one or to share. Hubby and I shared a special sandwich that night. Definitely will be back.

Lucky Enough is a cool funky neighborhood joint that feels like a cross between a dive and a sports bar. Rock n roll memorabilia adorns the walls along with quite a few TVs showing various sporting events. The drinks are decently priced and they have malort !! Now that may be a positive or a negative for you. The banh mi was excellent. Crusty bread, the way it should be and the whole package was very flavorful. I like that they use Laotian sausage in it, which is a great touch. My only gripe with lucky enough is if it's really busy and you are stuck sitting on the long table with the super giant TV behind you it can feel a little annoying. But outside of this it's a great place and I look forward to trying more items from the menu.

Monday Dinner Special for Two: $55.99 - Pasta Fagioli & House Salad - Choice of Entree (see photo for descriptions): 1) Braised Short Rib 2) Statler Chicken Breast 3) Baked Scallops 4) Veal Marsala 5) Lobster & Shrimp Scampi 6) Sirloin Steak - Bottle of Wine Soup & salad were delicious & right-sized for the meal. Hubby opted for the Sirloin Steak & I went with the Scampi. Both meals were delicious, thoughtfully prepared & a great value. I am definitely getting the steak next time! The space is gorgeous & decked out for the 250th anniversary of our country. It was a wonderful combination of great food, a relaxed atmosphere & outstanding hospitality! Highly recommend. We have been meaning to try this place before going to the theater, which we finally did. As we…read morewere going to share appetizers we were seated in the bar area. The more formal dining area is in a separate space. The place has a conservative old fashioned vibe with dark paneling, well spaced seating with comfortable chairs (a plus indeed!) and although full allowed for easy conversation (another plus). Our server, Jodie, was cheerful, attentive and efficient. The piano player starts later which on this occasion suited us fine. We ordered drinks to start with: a Hakuna Mojito (in recognition of the Lion King where we were headed to next) for my wife and a glass of Pinot Noir from Elkton Oregon - all which suited both of us. We also had a large bottle of Pellegrino to wash it all down. A delicious Burrata, bacon wrapped scallops, well done crispy fries done just right, and a dish of Rabe and White Beans. The last is something that I would not have ordered but we decided to try it - I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by it. A dish worth having. I had to end up with a decent espresso. The check came to $122, paying with a credit card for the two of us, a little more than I expected but well worth it. We left our server a tip of some 24%. The meal and food might be worth five stars. We will see how it goes for subsequent visits. The restaurant is now on our radar and we will be back and also recommend it to friends.

A mixed review here. Considering we went for brunch today,…read moreJuly 5th, I think we were sat pretty quickly. The place has a really nice, comfy decor. One of the hostesses was an absolute doll. We loved her. We sat for just a little while waiting for appetizers, and my wife discovered that her ASS REALLY HURT, badly, and mine was getting bad too, due to my lack of natural cushion back there. My wife stood up and never sat back down. She noticed a 4 top leaving and asked the hostess if we could move, completely unaware of the challenges this can pose the crew during the course of business (changing table numbers in a POS isn't always as easy as it sounds). But she agreed it should be ok. They were busy, too, and I heard that they had some staff call in "sick" after a wild 4th of July. So they took care of us and I was really grateful for that. My Mexican Corn Chicken Sando was ok... the flavors kind of got mixed together on a way that it didn't really taste that awesome to me. The wife loved her Huevos Rancheros, despite the hair she found in it (after having them change our seats, she was too embarrassed to say anything about that) and the tortillas that were so Chewy, they were inedible, she really enjoyed it. Our daughter really really liked the poutine a lot. All in all, I wouldn't rush back here, but I think our main complaint was the accursed seating. Aside from the high top, man, on the regular seats you're just sitting on a flat block of wood. McDonald's has more comfortable seating, and McDonald's intentionally makes the seating slightly uncomfortable so you don't just sit there forever, taking up a table. Anyway, it was alright. Every restaurant has its difficult days (and it's difficult customers!).
