Dr doesn't listen to patients concerns. Went in to have a chip filled and instead she shaved my teeth down without my permission and left them uneven. I also had braces here and it was a bad experience I switched orthos after 4 months and my new ortho ended up evening out my shaved teeth she had left uneven. Hygienist left her finger pulling my cheek while she grabbed other things and hurt my mouth Also, since she's also an ortho she pushes for braces really hard even when unnecessary. Dr G has been my dentist since she started working in Visalia. She bought the business from my formed dentist. I was so happy to have a woman dentist. Smaller hands help. From the very beginning she was very reassuring. She explained everything that was going to happen. She'd answer all questions asked. We developed a very nice relationship. I knew I could call Dr G any time of the day with any problems or questions. Her staff is very supportive and extremely nice. They go that extra mile to make you comfortable and not nerve. I moved away for 4 years. Once I knew I was moving back to the area I made an appointment to see Dr G. Her staff and Dr G was so excited to see me as I was with them. I am so glad that I was able to come back to my dentist. This group treats and makes you feel like you're family. read more

It's been 4 years since my last review, and I'm long finished with the big problems I had, and the orthodontics work. At this point I just make my appointments, and wear my retainer like a good boy. I was shocked to see negative reviews on here---appears to be people complaining about money, and for those people I remind you, You get what you pay for in this world. If I had a choice I would leave zero stars. I was recently seen for dental treatment, and was given an estimate in which I consented to, when treatment was completed I was notified it was an additional $1100 in which I did not consent to prior and signed the consent for treatment after the treatment was done and throughout the treatment the Dr. NEVER communicated the changes. I feel it was unethical for them not to present me with ALL my treatment options prior to starting. Unfortunately you have lost a loyal patient and their family. read more

Had to have 2 appointments one for a review, before I could get an appointment for cleaning and fillings. First time I've ever had cavities and needed fillings. They explained the process and everything went well. They insured I didn't feel anything as I was numb for 6 hours. Will be back to see Dr. G in August. read more

My dentist referred my wife here to remove her wire(for her braces for few days, co'z he's gonna do some work on her teeth and the wire on her brace needs to be removed for a while) the charge fee for just removing the wire for 1day is $45 which is okay but what I DIDN'T LIKE IS WHEN THE ASSISTANT PUT BACK THE WIRE AND NEW RUBBER SHE ASKED WHAT COLOR WOULD I WANT AND THE OTHER STUFF THERE(might be the boss or something SAID "JUST PUT ANY COLOR THAT IS AVAILABLE") on my mind i was like WTF? I paid $45 for that. and then since i dont have a new orthodontist yet my insurance doesn't cover it. THEY CHARGED ME HIGH PAYMENT FOR MY BRACES like as if I'm gonna be treated for 4years. But since other places that I went to is pretty much half the price from what they are trying to ask then I decided not to go here anymore. read more

The worst experience ever ,i hope there was zero star to grade this office 1- i called for my appointment at least 4 weeks before . I was told that i ll not be seen again if i dont cancel 2 days before appointment day ( that was repeated few times) 2- my insurance record wasnt found!! So i need to bring insurance proof/ info with me on appointment day. 3- on appointment day i went to office with my insurance letter. I was told they have my info .. Ok 3- &since it has been less than 2 years since, oral images were taken ( at a different office) i need to PAY 110$ for xrays in order to start working on my mouth .. Why that wasnt said through the last month when i could go and bring old images from the other office with my . The answer is ( it is your responsibility to do that ) 4- i asked the reciptionist to try to contact my former dentist , i gave her the street address ( 2 streets down) , for sure she couldnt find him in the computer 5- i offered to get the images myself , the answer is ( we are nt sure if they are the right/ diagnostic ones) . I assured that it was a full oral exam . The answer ( Pay the 110$) 6- i asked if i can get cleaning at least , the answer is NO , because we wont be able to do anything before imaging ur mouth ..(in other words PAY 110$) 6- i took off after i wasted some good time arguing with lady 7- DONT GO THERE , DONT GO THERE, DONT GO THERE read more

If there was an option to leave -negagtive stars I would. This place is terrible!!! I've been to probably 5 different dentist throughout my life, mainly because I've moved a lot. Never had issues with any other dentist. This is my first time ever leaving a review on anything so that statement should speak for itself. This review is my good deed to the public. Dr. Grigoryan is soo damn shady..... Where do I begin.... 1. Your gonna wait forever... Always at least 30 minutes in the waiting room then another 30 in the dental chair before anyone comes in 2. She replaced a filling. I was having a lot of pain in my tooth after the procedure. I called in a week later and asked if I could go back in to get it checked out. They refused to see me and told me it would take 3 months for the pain to go away. WTF!! Well 7 months later I'm still in a lil pain. 3. She filled my filling with porcelain and said my insurance covered it. Then a few weeks later I got a fat bill in the mail. I called my insurance and they said the dental office called a week before the procedure and informed the dental office they do not cover porcelain. My insurance told me that the dentist charged them for a standard metal filling and they had no idea I got the porcelain filling. Basically the dentist was double dipping... In the past going to the dentist was on the bottom of my list, I used to avoid it at all cost. Not smart, I know. It all changed a few years ago when I started coming here. From the clean office to the amazing staff. From the moment you book your appointment to the moment you leave you are dealing with a staff that's knowledgeable, friendly and overall wonderful. HORRIBLE! I had two cavities and was charged $800.00! When I called my insurance to ask them why???? She said that they were billed and covered everything they needed to. My insurance said to call them and ask why they billed me so much AND billed my insurance, I was told that it was a "medicinal mouthwash." SO if YOU want to pay $800.00 for mouthwash, have at this place! My insurance told me to run anymore "billings" they would have for me, by them FIRST. HOW SAD to take advantage of hardworking people. My son went in for one procedure and was billed $80.00 by them. I called them and asked why FIRST this time. I was told it was for the mouthwash. I DENIED it. My son had the procedure and paid nothing. Too boot, my new dentist said that they used the sub-par fillings. read more

I've been going to Cosmetic Dental for over 5 years now, and Dr. Grigorian and her staff has been nothing but professional and accommodating. They explain all procedures and give you options based on what your insurance covers. Dr. Grigorian is very considerate and dedicated to patient care, even taking time out from her day off to see me after a surgical procedure. I am very surprised by the negative comments here. I think this might be a result of people not being aware of their insurance and how it works. As for being in pain, I've been there! And they attended to me immediately. All it took was one phone call. I fail to believe that Dr. Grigorian would leave anyone in pain for months! They are very accommodating and I highly recommend them. read more

Sorry for the long review but i hope this helps. So I initially had a great experience here. Becky, the backbone of the office is awesome! Dr. Gregorian is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable however when it comes to dental needs, I feel she lacks in that area. I just recently got my braces off and I honestly feel I will need to get them again because she did not correct my bite. When I expressed my concerns to her she did not listen. She said my bite wasn't right on one side because the 2 crowns she placed were the wrong size and once she replaced them, after braces were removed my bite would be good, which it is not. My retainers didn't fit well, and I know how they should feel because I had braces about 10yrs ago. I expressed that to her and she just began cutting wires off of the retainers. I also had an implant done that I still am not satisfied with. The implant coated thousands of dollars and the look/quality is poor. When I told her my tooth looked grey she said it was because it is an implant. It literally looked like a rotten tooth. Becky was awesome when I expressed how unsatisfied I was and how the dentist would not listen to me. She scheduled me an appointment to have the implant replaced. I finally got the new implant but the color still does not match. I'm done going back there so I'm stuck with an expensive tooth that doesn't even look good. If you want friendly but not so great dental services then give them a shot. With their name being Cosmetic touch dental I really thought their cosmetic dental services would be a lot better than what I experienced. read more

I was appalled by the way I was treated by a person named "Becky" at this office. if she is the office manager than that office is in deep trouble. She was beyond rude and clearly only concerned with making that office $$$. I had called to reschedule my appt early that morning, as my battery on my car had died. She insisted that she would than have to charge me $25.00 for missing the appt. Not a good impression on my first time going to receive treatment. I said that I would have to skip on all of the procedures that they had recommended for me (braces, a new bridge, a new crown, repairs on two chipped teeth) and just go for the straight cleaning at this time. After calling AAA to service my battery, I made it over to the office for my scheduled appt. This woman Becky claimed that I had not told her that I wanted only a straight cleaning and that I was scheduled for a cosmetic crown! So she was asking me for $1100.00! Which was shocking and clearly news to me, as I had not been shown on my consultation appt. any caps at all, but a video on braces! and I had just mentioned to her on the phone earlier that I was not financially set for any of the recommended work, and since I was being threatened with a $25.00 fine, I figured I was better off paying my $30.00 copay and have my teeth cleaned. She straight forth lied right in my face and said that I never said any such thing. She denied the entire phone conversation. I said, "I can clearly see that you are now trying to clear yourself, and not at all concerned with me, the client/patient. Since I was scheduled for an $1100.00 appt and was now backing out of it, she would have to charge me $110.00 to clean my teeth! I was outraged with her unprofessional attitude towards me. She just kept on with the costs $$$~ I am after all a new client to this dentistry office. She point blank said that If I was going to have a hostile attitude than she suggested I see another dentist! The office was packed with people. She publicly humiliated me. I was basically being kicked out of this dentist office, after driving from Hanford. I have never in all my life been treated so disrespectfully by any Dental staff ever. I am still shocked over this entire ordeal. I should have known the very first time I entered this office with my husband and she was sitting there with her breasts hanging out for all the world to see. My first impression was how very unprofessional. I should have gone with my first impression and walked out. I would never recommend this dentist office to anyone. EVER. read more
