Dr Lam's diagnosis was the first one that I have found that matched the news my favorite dentist had given me years ago, before he relocated out of the area. While having my teeth cleaned, I noted that their hygenist was extremely gentle, tapping her tools to pinpoint and investigate every spot I wished she'd gloss over. Truly skilled. Yes, I know all hygenists tap teeth and investigate them, but her inspection was THOROUGH. I have read the awful reviews of getting crowns by Dr. Lam and can't help but be curious....so I shall be getting crowns next and will try to remember to report back. We had been told by another dentist that my one child needed four root canals and my other child had several cavities that needed filled. This made zero sense considering their last dentist didn't find any issues only 6 months before. My first visit to this dentist which I noticed when driving by several times. My appointment was at…read more1pm, and I arrived right at that time. I was immediately greeted by receptionist/ administrative assistant, who then asked a few questions about my dental insurance. In matter of minutes a staff member was ready for me. I was informed that X-Rays would be needed, and that it would only be only once a year. The X-Ray process was efficient and smooth. The technician then told me it would a few minutes, and the doctor would be in to examine my teeth. In a few minutes the doctor and technician greeted me, and began cleaning/ inspecting my teeth. After about 15 minutes the doctor had up the X-rays, reviewed his finding with me patiently. With each potential issue he had detailed pictures to go with everything else. In most cases he had identified issues, which been brought to my attention before. Once the exam was completed the technician finished my cleaning and polishing. I went to the front desk and elected on my own to have first of three items scheduled for correction. I want emphasize there was no one pressuring me at any time. All COVID-19 were followed exactly.
