I've been going to Claudia for lashes since 2021 in Flushing and was soooo happy when she found a place to operate out of that was closer to me (Long Island). The space is big, clean and cozy. The beds are comfy and they provide bolsters to prop your legs on and blankets to stay extra warm. Claudia is so gentle that I'll just drift off to sleep in minutes and she always checks up on you throughout the process (when I'm not sleeping). I have friends who go to the other girls that share the space; it's nothing but positive reviews and everyone is so sweet. I took a 3 Day Training course with Carrie that covered micro-blading, nano strokes and shading. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and experienced lash artist so I've taken my fair share of classes which have all felt very transactional. My previous classes always seemed as if they're very caring when they're promoting it online but when you take the class it's a very different and distant experience leaving you unsure of what you're doing. BUT~~~~~ Carrie is truly one of a kind. She made our class very personal and you can see and feel that she genuinely wants to see you succeed. I've been wanting to get into the PMU space for a while and have had very mediocre experiences with other classes that just never gave me enough support or confidence in actually getting started to offer the services. Carrie is one of the most caring and knowledgeable instructors I've gotten the pleasure to take a class with!! Her kit is one of the best I've ever gotten. She made sure I am prepared and stocked with only the best products and things that she personally uses to ensure that you're stocked with quality product and ready and comfortable in starting a PMU journey. This was my third time coming to Carrie. She did my initial procedure and both my touch ups and I won't let anyone else touch my brows!! Carrie is such a perfectionist and comfortable microblading artist- which is exactly what you should look for when it comes to your brows. The procedure starts with the mapping, which is the most time consuming. During the mapping part, you can really see how Carrie is so detail oriented and precise with every stroke and angle, and the overall shape. Carrie is truly a brow-saver! I just had my touch-up done by her and I'm beyond happy with the result! It is such a confident booster to have perfect brows - the best is, you have it all day, every day! At first, microblading might sound intimidating but trust me it really isn't, especially when done by a professional like Carrie. When she was blading, it felt like tiny scratches with just a slight sting. It's much milder than what I was expecting! Hence I didn't shy away from coming back. I had my first session with Carrie at the beginning of this year. It honestly was life-altering!
