Vanessa did a great job as always, hair touch up for my trip. Always a pleasure , always great…read moreresults and conversation mostly about food. The vibe always friendly.

I arrived for a manicure and pedicure, and upon entering the salon, a staff member showed me a…read moreservice menu listing the price as $75.00. While the manicurist, Geissi (I'm not sure if that's her exact name), was attending to me, she tried to take photos of my nails without my permission, claiming that this was allowed in the United States as long as my face wasn't in the shot. She assumed I was unfamiliar with local laws regarding the right to privacy and the protection of one's image. I refused to let her do it, and I was even told that I was the only customer who had ever refused until then. When it came time to pay, the salon owner, Joice, charged me $82.00, claiming the menu I had been given was outdated. I had actually intended to leave a generous tip, but I decided against it due to their lack of honesty and professionalism. I considered calling the police to enforce the price listed on the menu, but I ultimately decided to just pay and leave. I paid $40.00 in cash and $42.00 on my card (I have a photo of the receipt). I am posting this review on Google to warn others about the salon's dishonest and illegal practices and to discourage them from visiting--especially since the salon is located in an unsafe area. I felt extorted, and I will not return to a place that lacks such basic honesty and professionalism. Another important detail: the owner, Ms. Joice, is a liar. She claimed the service menu was outdated and that the website already listed the manicure and pedicure price as $80.00. I checked the website and discovered yet another lie; this makes me believe that the quality of the salon's services and products lacks any credibility, as the owner sets a terrible example for her staff.

I've been a client of Julieanne Vasquez for well over a year now if not longer. I've had…read moreexperience with other practitioners, so feel more than confident in giving her a glowing review and heartily recommending such an extremely experienced, effective, and skilled electrologist. Julie is a genuine, caring person, who is as professional as she is personable. She frequently goes to conferences and is active in the profession outside her own practice, which is always an added bonus because you can be certain that she is up to date and looking forward to any advancements that will benefit her clients. Her facilities are clean, her equipment is current and well-maintained, and she follows best practices to the letter. Julie also has a good understanding of the medical factors that bring her patients in, such as Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (why I'm there myself). She can also help you file for insurance coverage! I've had, and continue to have, great progress and success thanks to her skill, experience, and professional integrity. The fact that she's also a genuinely kind person is just a bonus that makes physically painful appointments all the more tolerable. Tip--it's NORMAL to run behind a bit time-wise (whether you're an electrologist, a doctor, a stylist, etc...). It is to Julie's credit that when you're on her table, it's your time, it's your treatment. If she's running behind when you come for your appointment, don't bang around the waiting room the second you fly in, throwing a tantrum like a child, calling and texting her phone multiple times because you weren't admitted the second you graced the premises with your presence, while she's concentrating on finishing her work with dangerous instruments on a person. Someone did this to me during one of my appointments and, to her credit, it was NOT tolerated!

I would recommend her to anyone who is a beginner in the world of electrolysis or any veterans. The price is right and the technique was perfect for my needs.

They always greet you with a smile, make great conversation, and genuinely care about their clients. You never feel rushed and they always make you feel comfortable and welcome. I have ingrown toenails, so pedicures can be painful if they're not done properly. Paula and Leah take such great care of me that my toenails never hurt after an appointment. They are gentle, thorough, and really know what they're doing. Not only are they talented, but they make every visit enjoyable. I would highly recommend either of them to anyone looking for a great pedicure and exceptional service.

Never again. Since this place changed ownership about a half year ago, the service has tanked. It…read moreseems the best nail techs are gone, or I've just been unlucky. Pedicures are still great, but during my last visit for nails, my tech put two of my tips on crooked which happens, but they can be reshaped before the clear polish goes on. He didn't bother and I didn't notice until it was too late. I broke two nails in the first week, which doesn't happen to me, unless it's time for another appointment. When I stopped by to have them fixed, the receptionist said my tech was busy and she wasn't sure if the other (available) tech would fix them for me... What? She ultimately fixed them, but she did the bare minimum to remove the old tip extension and glued a new one on top resulting in chunky, uneven nails that clearly stood out from the rest. She was very nice though and didn't charge me anything. I still tipped her $10, even though she told me not to worry about it. The receptionists have treated me like I'm an inconvenience every time I've gone in, but I kept trying because the place is so clean and so beautiful and maybe I just needed to find my new regular. I'm always polite, respectful and patient and have consistently tipped $20 on a $53 service regardless of quality. Oh, beware of hidden costs. Dip with tip extensions is $53, but I blindly paid $58 and learned this later when checking my bank account. I received no extra polish or other service, not even a hand massage or cuticle oil. I now doubt it was a mistake. Today was the final straw. I had booked an appointment online for 10:15 this morning. I was trying a different tech who was finishing another customer. I had never met her so I didn't know what she looked like, but she ended up being the person who had just finished, got up, walked away, came back out at 10:45 with her car keys and sunglasses and was about to leave when the receptionist remembered me and told her, "Oh, you have an appointment waiting," and pointed at me. Tech came over and said "Oh, what are you here for?" "Dip with tips." She answered "Ohhh, I don't do Dip. I'm allergic to Dip." When you book an online appointment, you have to select your service. I selected Dip. They should have known this would be an issue when I checked in. I had been waiting for 30 minutes for absolutely nothing, because they just stared at me and offered no solution. I stood up and started to leave when one of them uttered something. I said, "I'm good. Thank you," and left. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt multiple times. Lesson learned.
