The instructor was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, making sure we were happy with our designs every step of the way. Even if you're new to working with resin, everything is explained clearly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Because the resin needs time to cure, boards are picked up at least 24 hours later. We haven't picked ours up yet, but we're already excited to see how they turned out based on how great the experience was. They also offer a wide variety of other classes, including acrylic and oil painting, paint pours, and more. We'll definitely be back to try another class--highly recommend for a fun, creative outing!

We met the owner (Jeannie), who was so nice and scheduled a private session for the three of us right after our surfing and before our bioluminescent kayaking. The studio has so much incredible artwork. Jeannie invited us to walk around and pick ideas of what we wanted to do. She prepped the canvases and everything while we surfed. When we returned for our lesson, Jeannie had everything set up for us and taught us how to paint a beach scene with grassy dunes, palm trees, and a dolphin jumping out of the water. All of us were impressed with what we were able to do, and came home with lasting painting techniques. When we were done, I was trying to decide how to get the paintings home since I prefer to carry on our luggage, and Jeannie offered to mail them to us. When they arrived, they came with an extra painting kit she gave us. I am SO SO SO thrilled that we stumbled upon this. Highly recommend!!! Oh, also--Jeannie is a cardiac nurse. She got into this by helping her patients recover by helping them through art. Incredible woman with an incredible story. Memorable experience for sure.

In the past, depending on your status level, one of the perks was a coupon to get coffee from the Starbucks on-site, or breakfast from the on-site restaurant, at some point in 2023/2024 this policy was stopped. Which is very disappointing. If you're looking for a place close to the beach and close to other restaurants, this hotel is great. The pool is kind of small, but if you're staying here the ocean is about 2 blocks away and it's a nice stretch of beach, at that. So, in summary, if you're here for work might aught to look elsewhere, but if you're going in vacation or a cruise it's a good stay.

Do Not Book Cruise Parking…read more This hotel offers parking for the cruise ships leaving out of Port Canaveral through Park Port Canaveral. I made my reservation online for parking but one must contact the hotel to pay for your parking before arriving. Once I made my reservation, I never received any email confirmation. Upon contacting Park Port Canaveral, they said to contact the hotel directly. I called the hotel front desk and was placed on hold 7 times with total hold time being over 1 hour. The person working was the only one at the front desk and was too busy checking in hotel guests. When she finally came back on the line, I told her to cancel the reservation. Which she did. No apologies or anything for the long wait time other than " I am the only one here." Upon further research, while on hold, there are many complaints where when you arrive the hotel cannot find your reservation. In addition, sometimes the shuttle to the cruise port never shows up. You are told to take an Uber or Lyft and pay for it as they will not reimburse you. Clearly, the parking for a cruise is a side revenue stream for the Four Points. This is so poorly run that I cannot recommend using this service at all! This is a disgrace to the Four Points by Sheraton brand.

I found live cockroaches everywhere -- drawers, closets, bathroom, countertop, and even inside the dishwasher after a full cycle. Roaches were also running between appliances, which is a clear sign of an established infestation. When I reported it to the office, they didn't seem concerned; maybe because it is a daily occurrence. We had a weeklong reservation but left after two days because the conditions were unacceptable. When I reported it, guest services acted like it was normal. I would not stay here again. The place should be demolished.
