Recently drove into Cosmo Auto to get my mirror glued back on on the inside of my windshield. There was a nice young man, and an older man. The older man said the residue of previous glue "contaminated" my windshield, and he would not be able to glue it back on. He also said I needed a new mirror bracket. WTF!! So a week later I drive to NorCal, and go to Miller's Glass in Chico, CA. I explained I needed the mirror reattached. They cleaned the windshield and the mirror, then glued it back together. I had what I thought was a leak from either my front or rear windshield, but Cosmo and his son took a look and told me the issue was actually with the sunroof. I was puzzled because there was no interior condensation in that area. He proceeded to test the drains on the side of the sunroof which then drain out to the sides of the car and they were plugged up from debris from leaves, etc. They were very knowledgable and patient explaining the issue and did a great job with the repair. The aftermarket sunroof apparatus (Toyota dealer installed like 25 years ago) rusted away so I ended up ripping it all out. After getting my brand new car (6 days in my possession!) broken into on a Thursday around 3 pm while I was at work, I was desperate to find a place that would repair my car faster than what my insurance company said they could do- Tuesday or Wednesday of following week! I called Cosmos, who understood my concern about leaving it out for the night, especially not remembering if my spare key was in the purse they stole along with my wallet. I went there today because my car window literally fell in the door! It turns out the glass regulator broke. The staff were really friendly, they greeted me nicely and gave me a reasonable price comparing to other places that I visited today. I had to wait a while for the glass regulator to arrive since they had to order it from somewhere else. But when they received it, it took them less than 30mins to have the whole thing fixed. Knowing that it had the rain sensor, I did not expect it to be cheap especially with what the dealer and other places had quoted me. They quoted me a great cash price and was able to get the windshield in stock in only a few hours. While getting installed, they even lent me a car to go back to work for a few hours.
