So, I have been looking for a decent nail salon to go to and still haven't found one. I went here on a Sunday it's pretty quiet. I wait my turn for service. A lady starts my manicure and she stops. A white lady came in without a appointment, because she asked how long would she have to wait. She takes her right away and tells me someone else would finish for her. If I could give none, I would. I just moved to Menifee and got my nails done at a place nearby previously but decided to try Cosmo nails since hai was right there. I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant but thought I'd give it a chance. I went in for a fill and pedicure. I have super sensitive nails. They are thin and I always tell someone new how sensitive my nails are. I've had to change nail techs cause one was a little heavy handed but never had an issue anywhere I've gone. I've been getting my nails done with my sensitive fingers and toes for over 20 years and never had someone treat me the way I was today because of my sensitive nails. They were decent busy but I got sat right away in the nail tech station all the way in back. Didn't catch her name but seemed nice with short black hair. I mentioned my nails were sensitive and she seemed to take note. But as she started removing the gel color, her nail file was hot and she was going fast. I flinched on first and second time cause it hurt my finger. She slowed down and then sped right back up. Usually the tech slows down or changes type of file attachment. On third time I think she was going so fast and the nail file kinda skipped across my nail and I flinched and pulled back cause it hurt. I could tell she was getting really annoyed (although I'm not sure how that time was my fault??). Then a couple seconds later she burned my finger again as she's speeding across. I flinched and pulled back. She said in the meanest most annoyed voice "that doesn't even hurt". I stood up and said "I'm leaving. I should have listened to the reviews I read about this place." WORST NAIL SHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO. Rude!!! Will never ever go back. Went to place I went to last time and was treated great! This place sucks!!!!! Go to Esta Nails just down road. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This is one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to with the most disrespectful, careless, and rude nail techs. I came in to get a A fill on some acrylics that I had previously. One of them was broken off so I need to get it fixed. The gentleman I was with took a fake nail and began to rip my nail off instead of soaking it off gently. It was one of the worst pains I have ever experience he tore off half my nail and began to put this blue liquid on it so it would not bleed. He tried hiding the fact that he had made me bleed and continued to work fast. I told him I could no longer do a fake nail because my nail had hurt so bad, so to just take them all off and do gel instead. I was still unaware of how much trauma had been done to my nail. Once the manicure was done and over with I went along my day and throughout the week I noticed dry blood underneath my nail. I would continue to clean it but it still came back every single day. I finally had enough, my nail was still in so much pain I decided to clip the gel off and finally noticed how badly my nail actually was. I had called and ask for one of the managers and was told that a manager was not available today. I then asked one of the ladies if I could go in for a refund and told her the story. She stated that would be fine but I just had to go in and show her my nail. As I went to the salon I had told hem my name and stated I was here for a refund. One of the other ladies continued to say that I would have to come in tomorrow because the manager was not in. After continuously going back-and-forth with one of the nail techs another nail tech finally stood up and gave me my money in a very rude matter and walked off. Finally glad 2 get my toes/nails done. BUT not happy how it's being done. Appointment @11 didn't get toes done till 11:35. Toes done 12:30. Their is 7 lady's taking care of us BUT 16 customers in Salon. So if we all had to appointment WHY is there so MANY of us here @the same time. Their taking NO walk ins. Clearly their over BOOKING! So 9 of us either in massage chairs or waiting in the front of salon to be taken care. This is suppose 2 be relaxing3 hours & $78 later FAR from it. This was my go to place before covid-19 NOT SURE I WILL BE BACK! Kim took GREAT care of me BUT her Owner/Manager needs 2 get her SH.. together. My nails looked like a 5 year old did them, I asked the lady if she could fix them, she proceeded to put another coat of gel on them but all that did was make them look worse. I was so unhappy and after sitting there for a hour just to get a gel with manicure I paid my bill and left. It cost me $35, they did not apologize or ask if they could fix the situation. I went in to get a mani pedi with my mother in law..Everything was fine until the person doing my toes cut deep into my attachment line and after I flinched in my seat and told her that that hurt, she just looked at me and told me that I'm fine (My toe was bleeding at that point). Not only that, it seemed like she was in a hurry which I was confused about because they didn't really have many customers that day I went. The person that did my nails did an amazing job, so I made sure to thank her for her service. I really think that some associates just need to be more gentle and not so rough when doing the pedicures. And they need to listen to their customers when they tell them that they are hurting them and not be rude about it read more

Update ! $60 to get my nails done days ago I came in for them to fix my nail that broke the day after I came in and to change my nail color. The technician makes my nail took all my polish off and told me it was gonna be $46 to change the color of my nails. I asked how much the nail cost that she makes she said five dollars. So they tried to charge me $41 for gel polish after I just paid him $60 A few days ago. I paid the $5 and walked out. Never again! I had a full set done here exactly one week ago with Annette.I had polish, not gel which she tried to talk me into. She acted mad when I said I did not want gel.now a week later my nails are catching on my hair, coming apart by the cuticles. It cost me $34. I used to go to a place in Palm Springs and they charge $26 for full set, and $20 for a fill. It lasts 4 wks and nails don't lift even after the 4 weeks. Palm Springs is a much more upscale town than Menefee. Next time I will drive to ps for nails. read more

I have be going to this salon since they opened. Never really had a problem, they always did a decent job...until recently. I had my nails done on Valentine's Day (Friday). My nail broke (Sunday),I went in same day to have it fixed. The lady who originally did my nails, fixed the broken one. The next day ( Monday) my other nails started to lift, now today (Thursday) my thumb nail broke. I call them and explained how I've already had 1 nail fixed and the lady did a bad job and I wanted them redone. They said to come in and they would fix them. The lady soaked my nails off and told me it would be $29.00 to fix them. I asked why I needed to pay again when I had already paid for this set of nails 6 days prior. She didn't answer me! Once my nails were soaked off she told me I could leave. They let me walk out the door like this....I am furious & will never go back. I highly recommend NOT going to this nail salon. It's my first time at this salon and I will NOT be back. My mother and I had appt for 2 pedicures at 11am. It's now 11:35 and we still have not been helped. I asked when they would take us and she said right now and it's been 10 more minutes. We would leave but we haven't been able to get pedi's in months.
