Will never be going back here even though I was a loyal customer. Below is a picture of what I wanted. When I walked out, my nails were instantly turning ORANGE. The "colored" foil was bleeding onto my nails and my gold foil was now turning silver and my nails now orange. I called to explain my frustration and the gentleman pretended as if there was bad connection and then hung up on me without even letting me finish my question. I went back in the next day to show how awful my nails looked and the tech said "well they're supposed to be orange"...the gold foil was supposed to bleed onto my nails? Maybe tell your customers that. Then they wanted me to pay to get my nails fixed, mind you I had a wedding the next day. I just wanted to go back to a solid color and they wanted me to pay an additional $30...which in total would have come out to nearly 100$ for a solid color after the terrible nails I had originally gotten. Definitely will not be going back. The staff does not care how they treat their loyal customers as I always used to go there. read more

Overall I think the experience here was good. The place was pretty clean. I got the nextgen dip nails (I think that's what they are called I don't really know much about nails) My technician was nice and helpful. It was after I left that I noticed a bunch of small things that made me feel iffy about my nails. My thumbs are rough and there are spots where the nail is bumpy and some where the top coat does not cover it all of the nail. On many of my fingers the skin and the polish are stuck together, these spots are rough as well. On one of my thumbs there is a teeny black spot but I don't mind it. Lastly, I think the nails are a lot more sheer than I thought they would be. Overall the nails are fine. Mostly issues that only I would ever notice. read more

me and my cousin went to cosmo to get our nails done this past sunday. we've never been there but heard good things about it. they said they had room for us but when we arrived, they were very understaff and already had a full store. we got seated and the lady was going back AND forth between my cousin and i and wasn't even sitting. she would do one thing to our nails and then walk away for about 7 minutes, come back and repeat. she made my cousin remove her nail dip by herself and she messed up the bed of my nails tremendously. my cousin has gotten dip for over a year now and hasn't paid more then maybe $50 and when we were ready check out, her dip on her NATURAL nail was $70. outrageous. 10/10 would not recommend read more

I the new Cosmo location! I have been a long time customer and no matter which location you go to they offer amazing service. If you are unhappy with the shape you choose, color, accidentally smudge because you are in a time crunch JUST communicate it to them and they will schedule a time that works around your schedule! They always want their clients to be happy with the work they do. During a time when the health and safety of not just their clients but also for themselves please be respectful to the staff and other clients. Pick up the phone and make an appointment. Communicate if you have health conditions and I know 1st hand that they will do everything to accommodate your needs. Also, understand, that many retail stores, wait times might be longer because they are trying to provide the best experience for every customer. Unlike, big box stores, they are family owned and if you are unhappy they will go out of their way to fix whatever happened. Nails/pedicures are a luxury so be respectful, call ahead, communicate your needs. They treat everyone to deliver a perfect experience but unfortunately if someone walks in and isn't prepared on what they want done or wants a more intricate design etc... then they do everything to accommodate each and every customer! Speak up if you are unhappy but remember to be respectful. I have been a long time fan of this place, but not anymore. The quality has decreased so much with the new location as well as a $5 increase in price. I came in with a friend and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. I was fine with this as we were walkins so that's expected. We waited and were sat down. I got nexgen and she got just normal polish. I was completely done with my nexgen before they even looked at her to help. Although everyone around was getting helped. Her nails were also done very poorly then $16 was asked. When we spoke to the manager she was not helpful and just offered to redo them. But she had already been there 2 hours when all she wanted was a regular polish. Unacceptable and disappointed. read more

Before I write my experiences. I've been to this lounge 3 times. The people who did my nails every time were angels and did great. The blonde lady at the front desk was rude every single time. First time she had me waiting at a pedicure station for 45 minutes. I had an appointment as well. She seemed super uninterested to assist me as well. Of course, the others seemed to be welcomed. If you're not white, skip this place. Although the ladies who did my nails were great, the front desk lady ruined my experiences and I'll never be coming back. I got a gel dip manicure and a pedicure. I'll just jump right in on this review. The good: The ladies that did my service were very kind and professional. The pedicure was relaxing. The bad: the finished product of my toes was pretty bad. There was paint left around several of my toes. On one of my big toes, she painted one whole side on the skin so when I got up to walk out, it was stretching and causing ripples in the polish. Surprisingly, my other big toe had ripples in the polish but it wasn't painted on the skin. My nails turned out ok but she didn't file them neat at all on the sides of the nail, so I got almond shape but you can see my natural nails coming out on the sides where she didn't file them properly. Also, my nails are catching in my hair and I just got them done yesterday. Checking out was frustrating as well because the owner (the lady) was sooooooooo rude. After walking by me several times, she finally decided to check me out. She didn't say hi, how was your service? Hello, nothing. She asked what I got, I handed her the receipt, she input it in the computer and said pay and gestured to the credit card slot, walked off again and then came back to give a receipt. I paid $102 plus a 20% tip because I'm nice, and the ladies that did my nails were nice but never again will I go to this salon! I contemplated asking them to fix my toe nails but the owner was so rude I ended up going to Ulta around the corner to buy some polish remover to clean up my toes as best I could. I'm pretty disappointed in the treatment by the owner but also the finished product. I don't understand the 4.5 rating on google, ppl must go to specific technicians. I don't mind paying but for the price point, I EXPECT a certain level of service so I'll keep looking and won't recommend to others. read more

I've had some bad pedicures at different places and didn't think it could get any worse until I went here. Worse pedicure by far!! I got a gel pedi and he started it way above my cuticle and when I told him about it he tried telling me that is where my cuticle starts. Omg I'm still laughing...WOW is all I can say. Then I mentioned to him the toenails were uneven and he told me they weren't. Clearly one was longer then the other then he wants to say it couldn't be cut down because it had acrylic on it. Went to get my nails done here as it was a mother's day gift from my husband and I regret it. I called in advance to make sure they had availability and they said yes, got there and waited about twenty minutes to get seated and then about an hour to actually get started on my nails. The lady who put the tips on left a gap between the tip and my real nail. And the other lady who did my nails used a dip powder that was lumpy and didn't file them down smoothly. She started doing the design I asked for and started out fine but the she changed it to something different. Would not recommend coming here. Definitely the first and last time for me. read more

I have tried this place twice now & will not go back. My nails look like crap. The lighting is so bad in the salon that you don't notice how bad they are until you walk outside. I had the dipping powder on my nails. It's too thick & there are ridges on 6 of 10 nails. I also had a gel pedicure. Polish is not covering the whole nail on several nails & my 55 min service lasted all of 30 min max. I was offered a fix but at that point I didn't have time to stay. For $118 (discounted to $108 for my first complaint) I would expect much better. Complete waste of time & money. I will not be back. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but today I was so unhappy i go here all the time! I was there for 2 and a half hours! I got dip and a pedicure the pedicure was great but when it came to my nails just horrible they soaked my nails for so long as I waited for someone to start doing them my pedicure was already done and my nails soaked for so long to the point where my skin was starting to burn and get irritated. The other lady gave me a cotton ball to try and wipe off the old nails they were taking off....The actual nails are not horrible but definitely not the best. She didn't even clean underneath them with a drill like they usually do and I'm left with white stuff all over my hands from soaking them which I had to ask someone to try and get it off and even then still it's on my skin! Well.. to start off I have been going to this location for about a year and a half now with my daughter and we've had our ups and downs but we've gone back.. what upsets me is that in all the times we've been coming to Cosmo Nails I've always paid with my debit card and TODAY I just realized that they have been charging me a convenience fee of 3% for just using my debit card. This is actually illegal here in Texas, it is not the 3% that bothers me... what bothers me is that they are taking advantage of the customers having us pay the credit card companies their service fee. How many people in this day and age pay cash? Hardly anyone so that means that they are making money off of our payments. Totally wrong and they should stop doing this and everyone should be aware of this. I asked to speak with the manager and according to the person I spoke to she was busy (doing a wax), I then asked that person to cancel my payment and re-do so that I could remove the tip and she said she did not know how. I then asked her to read the article that shows the law where it shows it is illegal to charge a convenience fee she refused and said she was busy with other customers... wasn't I just a customer that had just paid the bill? Anyway, I am not returning to this place anymore and I suggest you also think twice before making any appointments or returning to this place at all. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but I've given this place 4 chances but every time I leave unsatisfied with the results and the subpar customer service. Most recently I went for a full dip set and a pedicure. Waited in the pedicure chair for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement, no drink offered, and not even water in the bowl to soak my feet. When my service finally begins the nail techs are using unsanitized implements (which is a tdlr violation) and the tech doing my pedicure clipped the skin on my toes and then told me it's my responsibility to remind the nail techs to not clip the skin, just the nails? The tech doing my nails got dip powder and water all over my $80 shoes, and when she was finished with my nails I had acetone and dip residue caked all over my hands. While checking out the front desk man did not even ask if I was satisfied with my visit. I paid $99 to leave with ruined shoes, dirty hands, and bulky uneven ugly nails. Honestly don't waste your time, there are lots of satisfactory nail salons in the area that aren't this one. read more
