Walked in with a friend on a Wednesday night in May after reading all the great reviews. What is everyone raving about? Beware of bad service. Rudest nail tech I've ever had. $36 for Shellac or Nexgen manicure $51 for specialty nails like the blue watercolor ombre one in a photo another yelper uploaded We never had Nexgen/powder/dip manicure before. Before we even chose our nail color, they started removing our existing nail polish. They started on the Nexgen powder dip nail process right after that. No hand soak, no cuticle care. I was so confused. I came here to get my cuticles looking great! They asked me THREE TIMES, "do you want tips?" They were completely judgmental of my nails because they didn't like the shape of them. Take a look at the photo of my nails. Are they that short and terrible? I never had nail techs look at my nails with such disdain. I think asking one time is enough. Stop trying to make me pay extra for something I will never get. My friend got a male tech and I had Jieanin. She pointed out that two of my nails that would be "very difficult" to get a good shape. She started buffing away at my bare nails with her handpiece and went back and forth with FULL FORCE on my thumbnail. I recoiled my hand back a few times and she did not acknowledge that she was making me uncomfortable. Both of our nail techs got up as soon as they finished our manicures abruptly and told us, "dry your nails for 3 minutes." Meanwhile, another customer walked in and they fawned over her and asked if she needed a drink. They never offered us water.. Before we left, I asked my tech why she did not push back or trim my cuticles before she started. "That's just how it is. Even if you go anywhere else and get Nexgen, they don't trim your cuticles. You have to let me know before." What kind of explanation is that? She knew it was our first time getting Nexgen, but she did not ask how we wanted our cuticles maintained. The end result was not bad minus the cuticle situation. After all the fuss the tech made about my nail shape, she filed my index finger nails slanted. The whole experience was very rushed and I thought about that rude nail tech every time I looked at my nails and cuticles. Don't come here unless you are going to spend a lot of money because a $36 manicure is not worth it at all here. Never coming back here. read more

Tina is meticulous with both mani and pedi. Moved to Lewisville from out of state and it took me 3 months to locate a salon that isn't over priced and provides quality work. I get a French with gel for a manicure. French no gel pedicure. Manicure is $35!! That's so reasonable. The chairs are comfortable and massaging options work well. Everything is clean and the tool they use to exfoliate your feet works wonders. I have very dry heels and usually crack in the summer. Tina has a very light touch which I appreciate from previous experiences that have lead to minor cuts or raw skin. read more

When I went in I got my nails on my fingers soaked off and than acrylic with gel polish overlaid because they didn't have colored acrylic not only was I overcharged but now the end is chipping off. The owner Lynn is my nail Goddess. When I come in she challenges me to try something I wouldn't normally try and it always turns out AMAZING! My honest review: This was my first time here and I strongly believe in second chances so that is the only reason I did not give this place 1 star instead of 2. I usually go to Grand Lux nail salon but I wanted to try something new today, I was also with my mom and grandma. I went in looking to do a marble design with a few different blueish grey colors and a white nail with some silver bands on it. This is not at all what I got. They had some beautiful marble nail designs on the front counter for display which made me want to get the marble. The lady that was doing my nails did a great job shaping them at first, but they are all uneven on the end of the nails and slanted, not straight at all. When it came to the marble part, another lady came over to do it and BUTCHERED the design. She seemed like she was in a big hurry as she did them very fast and quickly got up and walked away. She also said that they could not do the silver bands but also did not offer any alternative to them either. I was very disappointed with my first visit here and do not know if I will be returning. I included some pictures of what I expected versus what I got. You can see just how different the two pictures are and why I am so mad about how they turned out. Update: I received a message from the owner telling me that I could come in and get my nails fixed for free so that is what I did. I hated the blue colors that I got so I asked if I could just switch to pinks since that is what I am comfortable with and she said they would have to charge me for a new set, but they could give me 20% off. I was kind of caught off guard by this, but Lynn and the other guy that did them did such a good job that I am not even mad about paying for them. The marble looks so much better and she even did the stripes on the other white nails, but we agreed black looked best. I am changing my review to 4 stars, since they did such a great job of fixing them and being so kind about everything. I will be returning and making my appointments with Lynn from now on. read more

The condition of the bathroom should have been the fist sign of the overall cleanliness. The bathroom had dust an inch thick, water damage & grunge all around the sink & fixtures. I put that aside, went & picked out my color which was nearly impossible with the owners daughter running IN FRONT of me between me & the polishes picking them all up & commenting on the color. Still I let that go & then went @ sat down in the pedicure chair, waited 10 minutes at the pedicure chair with no water running to make you comfortable & then I just continued to notice more filth in the photos I took sitting there. I went to Cosmo Nails a couple of weeks ago. As soon as I walked in, I was surprised by how dirty it seemed. There is a divider of sorts between the manicure section and the pedicure section. Seeing how I was getting a pedicure and manicure at the same time, I decided to go with it. It was then that I noticed how dirty the walls appear to be. There is grime all over them. I was also hurried out of my chair and taken to the counter to pay even while my nails were still drying. I came and did dip powder nails and a lavender pedicure. I've been here before for a pedicure and they did a decent job. I will not come back to this establishment ever again. I think it's rude and poor manners that everyone around me is being offered something to drink and I am not. Not asking for special treatment but it wasn't even the same. The lady that did my dipping nails was in a hurry to be finished. So hopefully they last as long as other salons. There is alot of other nail shops in the area. I also thought it was weird that they never soaked my nails or did anything for my cuticles. $36 for dipping powder nails and $46 for a lavender pedicure to be rushed.
