As an avid tea drinker, I also love seeing some options for my beverage of choice! I ultimately went with the rose geranium hand soap since I'm a fan of florals, and it's serving me well so far. Unlike cheap brands that don't fully clean or even name brands full of forever chemicals, BYO's hand soaps clean without stripping your skin of its natural oils. The consistency is comparable to SimpleHuman's gel soap for their automated dispensers. Will plan on returning for a refill when I once again run out!

Renee, the owner, was very helpful and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. She told me she didn't carry African net sponges as they contain plastic and are not good to use for your body, so she suggested the agave wash cloth instead. I took my time to look around the shop too and there were so many goods that I got a bit overwhelmed so I'll have to come back to peruse those more sometime :) Renee was very friendly, kind, helpful, and awesome. Her energy is warm but strong like a fire. She took the time to talk to me about her shop that she's had for over 30 years now, asked me for my name, and hoped that she'd see me again -- which she definitely will be! Lots of books, tote bags, bracelets, incense, hair products, and much more. She told me she tries to host events for the community too, apparently I just missed a sound bath that they hosted this past weekend. It felt like most of the employees were more interested in standing around talking to each other than helping customers. I honestly felt like only one employee was actually working and ringing up customers while everyone else was standing around doing who knows what. It also took an unusually long time for someone to bring over a key so I could look at a cologne I was interested in purchasing. With so many employees on the sales floor, you're telling me not one person could step in and grab a key for the associate helping me? To make matters worse, there was a line of customers waiting to check out, yet only one cashier was working the register the same employee who was also waiting for someone to bring her the key. No one else seemed willing to step in and help, which made the wait even more frustrating. This team definitely needs better training and much stronger customer service skills. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and ended up leaving without buying anything, even though I had planned to purchase several items. To make matters worse, the store didn't even have any cologne testers available, making it impossible to try the fragrances before buying. I've been a loyal Ulta customer for years and spend a significant amount of money there, but this is by far the worst Ulta location I've ever visited. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Save yourself the time and visit another location where customers are treated with respect and where employees understand the importance of providing quality customer service.
