All of which was highly commendable and resolved a long overextended mission to the Lakewood Shopping Center. Plus it was the only place that offered coffee beans to reset ones sense of smell when testing fragrances. I didn't even know that was a thing! Here's a brief run of what when on prior to this great interaction, which succeeded in finding a birthday gift for my mom, which i had no idea ended up being set she was dying for. This was Black Opium by YSL. I only find it important to detail so that others dont go on the goose chase that I did. I spent 4 hours in the mall going to and from all stores selling fragrances and being met with very little that would incline me to make a purchase. After exhausting all the department stores as well as some of the smaller shops, all of which sucked. It wasn't until I remembered there being this fragrance kiosk I visited a few years back, located towards the Forever 21 entrance of the mall. And so with some hope of finding what I was looking for, I decided to head that way. I wish I would've done this from the very beginning, because I had to make it back home by 3 to head to a wedding and I started all this just a little after the mall opened at 10, and in my mind that was a large enough frame to handle the shopping and get ready. So I made it back close to 2:30, which was sort of pushin it, BUT I accomplished my goal with much credit to nº1, who was just rad, but if you dont believe me, I implore anyone to go to any other vendor for perfumes within the mall to see if the quality of service comes close to that of nº1 or any of the other employees @ Fragrance Bay. I look forward to following up on the cologne I was being recommended and will likely continue my collection through this kiosk. Note: to address the negative reviews discussing the pricing, compared to online... bruh. It's 2021 and y'all wanna pretend like you didn't think to check online before settling on how to best spend your money? And then use that to say what you paid for wasn't worth service provided by the employees at this kiosk, which from the looks of it seem to unanimously have positive things to say! Personally, I'll only go online to get samples of cologne that are difficult to find. Even in being absolutely positive about buying a 6oz of D&G, and finding it for $45 online and $60 in store, I take the store because I know exactly what I'm getting as opposed to gambling my earnings online.

The owners hire store attendants who are not knowledgeable on the products that they sell. If you need help, or ask questions, they appear lost and will suggest something random. And, the products that are sold here are indeed overpriced, you can find a better price at a store like Walmart, Target, or Amazon. The hair that they sell for wigs, sew-in's etc. is also poor quality. A lot of time I regret my purchase after coming here. FYI, you cannot legally require a customer to provide ID when completing a purchase, Visa and Mastercard prohibit this. That's a wild, discriminatory practice. If they ask, tell them no, and they still have to complete the purchase. To the owner: How can you morally profit from a predominantly Black customer base, while remaining ignorant of their hair care needs and simultaneously discriminate against them?
