One of the things I valued the most was that their pizza did not make me sick. Normally pizzas super greasy, you'll feel bloated get acid reflux etc. not with cosmos. You can eat it and lay down immediately afterwards without having the urge to throw up. I like this place for a lot of the college nostalgia. This was my spot when I was at CU and there's a picture of a guy skateboarding with a pizza box in front of the Hill location on the wall that just makes me happy. The slices are huge and delicious, the cheese is gooey and the pull is just right! I usually stick with my same slice of mushroom I've been getting since I was trying to cure those late night cravings, even though now I just eat it for lunch. Service for a slice is quick and it's relatively inexpensive. Some of the other stuff cam take a little longer to make (obviously) and I've seen some people get really impatient about that. I don't know about this place. I was visiting my friend in Baltimore who moved here and he said this is the best NY style pizza he's ever had. THE BEST. I know better than to trust my friends judgement. He tends to go for inexpensive trashy food like the greasy chinese takeout place down the street and say it's the best. But that was a big statement and I was ready. We came here on a Sunday night and it was especially busy because it was a big football game. With such high turnover of pies, I was just so excited. We decided to get slices there and sit down, we didn't have anywhere else to be. I got a slice of cheese, meat with banana peppers, and a hawaiian. The crust was still uncooked, look at pictures, no browning and very flimsy, which made all of the pizzas pretty hard and unappetizing to eat. The topping were fine, sauce was fine but it was a very under average slice of pizza. I think my friend likes it because it's inexpensive and big portions. So if you're into that, this is your place. I was sad here, maybe it was an off night, I don't know. He did tell me as we were eating that the pizza was not as good as usual, but I couldn't help but look at him strangely as he ate his whole piece with a smile on his face. The icing on the cake for me was when two employees started yelling at each other loudly. Not having fun joking around and yelling, a real argument. This was not my place and is nowhere near NY pizza. Fine after a night at the bars though. read more

We order from Cosmo's maybe once or twice a month. Pizza is usually fairly good. Once, we spent about $60 on a 24" with multiple toppings and it was undercooked. Dough was raw in the middle and the pie was literally falling apart... needed to rebake it in our oven to eat it. Emailed the manager with pics of the pie and reciept and a week later got a gift card in the mail, so that's good. Get delivery at work sometimes and they never can find the address. Don't like that their tomatoes are diced rather than sliced. But for Denver, this is a pretty good pizza place. Being from New York this is heresy of the worst sort, but give their spicy ranch dipping sauce a try. Also, stick with their standard red tomato sauce and ask for extra sauce... just trust me on this. read more

This review is based off our negative experience dealing with their manager. We called to let them know a pizza we picked up was not what we expected and that When we had ordered the same pie in the past we didn't have this issue. We ordered a half/half and expected the base to be half marinara half bbq as we had received in the past. We acknowledged his perspective it was a user error and tje former pizza we received was actually made wrong.... but he was incredibly rude to us and unwilling to work with us on a solution. I love both of the Cosmo's' in Boulder and have never had a chance to try the one in Denver until now. I am pleased to report that the pizza and service here is identical to the Boulder location! This is a very good thing! I love Cosmo's. The only thing to note is that there is limited seating here, so perhaps be prepared for that during busy dining hours. read more
