By far the best mechanical work I have had done on my car. Needed new tires and a couple new front end parts from the potholes lately. Mike gave me a free estimate and we agreed on what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done. It's hard to find an honest mechanic but I finally found one. I was looking into buying tires for the winter season, but wasn't sure what to get. I called Cosmos tire Center mike answered He asked me what my tire size was but I had no clue and told him the year make model of my vehicle and he can be immediately looked up my tire size and he recommended his favorite tires for my vehicle also did a Wheel alignment but first checked my front end up needed control arms bushings were bad my tires were wearing unevenly more on the inside than the rest of the tire, and my car was actually pulling towards the left and my steering wheel was a little crooked but now everything is awesome car goes straight handling is even better these tires are so grippy they are the best tires I've ever had even in the snow which I had a huge problem with going up the hill to my house I would have to leave my car stuck halfway up now goes up no problem like there's no snow out but yeah, these guys did an awesome job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Had a great experience at Cosmos tire center. They are local to me. They weren't busy. No waiting. The guy who took care of me was very courteous as was the manager. The place I used to go to was cheaper, but, it was always crowded. Cosmos seems to charge more for mounting tires that are 19" and up, but at least they are honest about their prices. Unlike the place I used to go to, Red Line Tires on Northern Blvd, where depending on who took care of you, you'd be charged something different. Another plus is that the guy who mounted my tires went outta his way to find solvent (of some sort) to clean off the glue from the previous balancing weights. I would definitely be giving them my business next time I have tire needs. read more

I went to cosmos thinking i have runflats. all my tires were swapped out at 108th & Northern one of those late night tire repairs from hell! all good tires stolen. i didnt have one tire that matched the next one. my fault I should've just waited for Cosmos to open the next day. I finally Got tired of filling my tires with air my car was riding like !;&;;& Cosmos tires took very good care of me! 5 star service even set my computer to work correctly! Great people, great business! I've been coming here for years, but never reviewed, so it's time! Last year, I brought my Mom here for some tire and axle work because her regular mechanic was charging her an arm and a leg. John took wonderful care of my mom and her car and gave her a very competitive price for 2 new tires, axles, alignment, breaks, and other important things I can't remember. Mom's 2001 Camry ran like new afterward! I came here last week for 3 new tires and an alignment and after my tires arrived, they were done replacing and balancing in under an hour. I took the car to two locations for a persistent tire leak over a three year period. I brought the car to Cosmo's Tire Center in July 2020. They plugged the hole properly and the light indicator hasn't turned on since. The repair man pointed out the shabby work the previous workers did and i waited till now to see if the light indicator would turn on and it hasn't; good work. read more

I had recently lifted my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. I had taken it to another tire shop and needless to say after 3 tries and over 5 hours they couldn't get it right. I pulled into Cosmos on a recommendation from a friend and in 45 minutes he had my truck perfect and at half the price! Finally on the third visit to these guys, I decided to write a review. First visit, was a several years ago when I wanted a new set of tires mounted before I got off on a road trip. Me being the procrastinator I am, waited until the day before I had to travel. They squeezed me in on a holiday weekend and got me squared away in less than an hour. Second trip, I cracked on of my wheels. They repaired it perfectly and has survived many more miles in nyc without cracking again. Third trip (today) I got in to swap my summer tires for my winter set. I think I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Probably the quickest tire change I've ever experienced. I blew out my front tire on my 2016 Fusion this morning on the way to work and we rolled into Cosmos around 8am-he was able to have the exact tire delivered this afternoon! He even checked for any additional damage that might have happened to the other tires. Great service, great prices, really nice people!
