CosmoSpa rocks! My mom is a regular and treated me to the "works" when I was in town for a visit. Owner Wynn is one of the best nail guys around. He got his start in New York, worked in Los Angeles, and Dallas and has brought a fabulous big city salon to West Texas. The salon is very clean. The technicians are professional and pay attention to the details. I saw that the tools were sealed in plastic, which the technicians opened in front of me, ensuring that they are sanitary and hygienic. The foot baths were lined with plastic for cleanliness. There's a huge selection of nail lacquer, gels, powders, all the latest in nail care. Wynn suggested patching one of my torn nails using a dip powder instead of silk wrap. A brilliant idea which has kept my nail from further tearing. Cecilia gave me a margarita pedicure, which was like a cocktail for your feet. Smelled yummy, leaving my toes, feet, and calves clean and soft. I highly recommend! Nina shaped my neglected fingernails and cuticles, expertly whisking the gel nail lacquer on my nails. She was good. I've had sloppy manicures from other salons where the gel polish chipped off in just a few days. Mom and I left CosmoSpa feeling like royalty. She's the "Queen of Everything" and I'm the "Princess of Quite a Lot"!

My daughter and I had our nails done while visiting. They did amazing on my gel nails and the owner did my daughters nails. They were very clean, professional and reasonable price! Highly recommend. We will definitely stop by again when in town.

I have been here several times now since my first review and my nails have been absolutely flawless every time. The hospitality has been amazing since my very first visit. They have a ton of different colors to choose from for dip powders. And the way it's done leaves the most minimal damage to my nails. I can tell the difference in my natural nails ever since I started coming here. I get compliments on my nails even after having them for 2 weeks because of the quality of the work. I am going to be very sad when it comes time for me to go back to WA. I have never been to a nail salon that does this great of a job on a consistent basis.

Went to Cosmo spa today for the first time and had average expectations based on the experience I've had at nail salons in San Angelo in the 2 years I've lived here. I needed a mani and pedi and had a special request for my nails for New Year's Eve and my baby shower tomorrow. Let me tell you, they DELIVERED. Nguyen did an AMAZING job on my nails. He gave me exactly what i was looking for and even mixed a special powder to make it perfect. As long as he's available I don't see myself going anywhere else in SA. Martha did my pedi and it was so relaxing. She was very friendly and the massage was amazing (that's hard to find here). I was wanting sparkly white and she recommended white gel with a mermaid top coat and it's awesome!! Highly recommend!

Well done CosmoSpa! I give this nail salon 5-stars!! Great customer service, very attentive, clean, and lots of color and nail techniques to choose from. After my shellac pedicure, which turned out fantastic, Wynn did a black colored acrylic set with hombre nail design on a few nails. He took the time to understand what I wanted done and offered his professional advice. Results - very happy customer with beautifully done nails!!

My husband and I went there on a Sunday...We both got a pedi,the place was clean, they use those cool bags and even give you your own nail stuff....however with in days my husband developed this redness on his toes, and his toes were turning red with pain, one even looked like it has a hole. Pictures will be added. Now I took these pictures to them and I was told it wasn't from them it had to be his socks and the man there said to take him to the doctor....they spoke in a different language while in front of me... They did not offer to give us our money back or anything else...basically told it's our fault. Update: Took my husband to the Community Care here in town ,and he has a fungus infection where she clipped his toes.

Ignore how perpetually messed up my hands are, but he did an amazing job

Absolutely the best set on pink & whites I've ever had. I researched beforehand and saw that the owner, Nguyen, comes highly recommended. I booked for both myself and my friend who are in the military, so pretty nails is one of the luxuries we get to have in uniform. I've had a lot of bad French tips done, so I'm iffy on them, but he was so well reviewed I took the risk and I'm so glad I did. He's extremely gentle with your hands and never hurt my fingers once, and he really takes his time to ensure a good product. You can really tell he cares. Not to mention he's an absolute sweetheart; I'd had a terrible day, coming from a horrible hair appointment prior, and he was just so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be going back, as well as recommending him to my friends.

I tried this place for the first time a few days ago after scouring yelp for reviews and asking anyone with nice nails where they got theirs done. I recently moved to San Angelo from Austin so I was looking for a place that I would be happy to return to and that would do just as good of a job as (or better than) my home salon in Austin. From what I can tell the owner of the salon is who did my nails. He was very polite to anyone who spoke to him and he engaged me in conversation that wasn't too much or too little. I appreciated that he was gentle with my nails and didn't use the drill much. He also took his time. A few of my nails were shorter than the rest but I wanted to keep the length and not have a tip put on and he was able to use the acrylic to even out the length and give me the shape i wanted which I really appreciated. Even my home salon tends to push tips on me when I don't want it. I showed him a picture of the design I wanted and he did a great job. I'm incredibly pleased with how my nails came out. My only complaint is that I did go with someone else and even though there appeared to be the capability for us to sit together, we were seated pretty far apart. However, it was close to closing so there was only one other person there and they let us know it was okay to keep talking across the salon to each other. Overall we had a good experience. The person I went with got dip on her natural nail and she said it was quick and she likes how they turned out. She also has to keep her nails short for work and they didn't give her grief over clipping them short like she's experienced many times in the past. I would definitely go back with no hesitation.

I waited 40 min on a Wednesday night to get my nails done (which I was okay with). But then, when I was finally seated for a fill, the woman doing my nails left in the MIDDLE of taking off my polish to take her dog (who was walking around the shop) outside for a walk. She came back thirty min later & told one of the other workers there to finish my nails. By this point I was pretty pissed off. After waiting for so long I think they tried to rush my nails, so the shape came out AWFUL, & then they had a third person paint my nails. As soon as they were finished I waited under the uv light twice (just like she told me to do) & they when I went to pay. I had to get them repainted & overall I think I was there for two hours for chicklet looking nails. Would never recommend.

I've been there on two different occasions and was not satisfied. They seemed to rush through my mani and pedi, my nails weren't even and when I tried to explain that as well as how they didn't paint the sides the woman became frustrated. The young girl that was doing my pedicure to start with was amazing but they rushed her off. They are over priced for the services that were provided. I refuse to go back again!!! read more

Not impressed. I had a French gel manicure done and it didn't last as long as I would have hoped for the value. It's been a week and a half and they're already chipped and scratched. I also don't like how they're shaped, though that may be my fault for not stating what I wanted. I won't be going back though. read more

This is the only place I know of that does lash extensions well, and for the price that they offer them, you can't beat it. Regular prices in Odessa and Houston are $100 for a full set of lash extensions, here they only charge $45 for lashes that are just as good. read more

Will NEVER be back. Went for the first time recently to have a manicure and pedicure and was happy at first. Nice decor, clean, very helpful menu. Walked out with 3 fingers and a toe bleeding. The small cuts on my fingers are NOTHING to the pain in my big toe. The lady who did my pedicure ripped off part of my nail down completely on one side, to the point where I could hardly walk on it the next day. 4 days later and it's still bruised and sore. Every one else I was with had no problems. so it might just have been that one woman, but I wouldn't take any chances!!!!! read more

Sally and Nguyen operate a first rate customer-oriented salon. I only hope others are okay with hearing a not-so-Texas accent and will see what a gem this location is and how wonderful are these people in the way of honesty, reliability, service and courtesy. Their accent sometimes makes them sound abrupt or curt but they are not like that at all. All the employees are eager to please and work hard to get a customer done in a short amount of time but not sacrificing a superb routine. People are sometime quite rude to those who are not as easily understood; use that Texas hospitality please to these hard working folks. I've been a customer for years now, almost since the salon opened and never ever have been disappointed. Good service, great skills and friendly people best describe these folks. Before coming here I'd used a few other salons after my nail tech of 30 years retired but never was as satisfied as at Cosmos. Sally has helped the neuropathy in my feet and legs with a pedicure from heaven. I trust her to always do right by me and she is one of the kindest most attentive nail techs I've ever seen. The facility is very clean and much attention is paid to safety procedures. I like that. If you had something unpleasant happen, give it another try and be nice to those who try only to do a good job for you. read more

I have used this salon for the last three years faithfully, for a reason. They are super clean, friendly, happy, timely, they fit me in, and they know what they are doing! The shellac on both my fingers and toes stays put for weeks without any chipping or peeling. I have been going to CosmoSpa now for over 4 years and I won't go anywhere else. I always make an appointment because I prefer to do so. Sally and Wynn are the best!! These are the nails I got done today. I always leave a satisfied customer on each visit. I also like how when you get a pedicure, you receive your own personal pedicure kit to bring with you on your next visit. I had the absolute best nail experience of my life at CosmoSpa today! It's an incredible atmosphere with no acetone smell and a clean environment. Both technicians that I worked with were so kind and extremely talented. I was hesitant about Covid guidelines but anytime is surface was touched it was immediately sanitized and everyone washed their hands in between services. This is the BEST place in San Angelo by far, not to mention better than the services I've received in New York's Times Square, Ruidoso, New Mexico, on cruise ships, and many other vacation destinations. Very clean establishment & impeccable customer service! I was a Walk-In & was seated immediately. The Owner of the dog mascot, Cosmo who's a gorgeous Pomerania, gave me a Margarita Pedicure. AMAZING!!! I'm a Nurse & am always on my feet over 12hrs daily so this pedicure was the most invigorating I've ever received! The gentleman that did my nails did an amazing job, I was a walk in and only had to wait for maybe 5 min at the most. My pedicure was amazing, the lady took her time and really did an amazing job. The only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars is because the polish on my toes doesn't cover the entire toe. She missed some of the sides, you can't tell unless you look close but I noticed. read more

I never do reviews, but this place was brilliant and got me in immediately even though they were quite busy. I'm very particular about my pedicures and he did SO well. I went here to see Melissa Morse for waxing. As a cyclist I get waxing done but it is difficult to get someone to do it correctly. I am really impressed at how experienced she is and the fact she took her time to be sure it was done correctly. Great place, great service, I will be back. read more
