The hair cutting chairs are seated so when the door opens a man walking by could see your hair. Yes there are darkened windows so no one can see inside unless the door is opened. I travelled out of town for a woman only hair cut I expected a closed off area or barrier or curtain blocking women's hair from sight to anyone who walks in. It just says salon so if a someone who doesn't wear hijab brings a male with her he would walk in and see your hair. Made me uncomfortable. I walked in on a Saturday morning pretty much begging them to take me in because my best friend was getting married that day and I missed my appointments because I worked a 14 hour shift the day before. I was exhausted that day. With no hesitation the ladies at the front were so professional and did everything they could just to make sure i wouldn't disappoint my friend. Right away they got me in to start my make up with Mariana. The Make up artist her self was an absolute sweetheart and made me feel so comfortable. Right when I was done they put me on chair and prepped me for a hair updo style. Farah did my updo and she was just amazing herself.
