I went in today to get a haircut from one of the hairdressers name Lola. I had asked her to give me Faux bangs/ curtain bangs.... I specifically said not to make my bangs look like Dora.... I asked her if she knew what faux bangs were, and I had to explain to her the difference between that, and just regular straight bangs. I told her, I do NOT want Dora bangs. I'm not sure if she was rushing, but if you are in an establishment, and you are taking care of a customer, especially cutting their hair, that's some thing you should never rush. She didn't even have the decency to even out my bangs, my bangs aren't even symmetrical at all. Even after I styled them and straighten them at this point, I guarantee you, Helen Keller could've done a better job at cutting my bangs.... I used to go here all the time because I enjoy to get my haircut and the woman there knew how to cut my hair... But apparently not this girl. I will be going back in to get my hair fixed by somebody else except her.... I am greatly devastated. I'm supposed to be starting school this semester, and honestly, I'm just embarrassed to even step outside. I even gave her a decent tip then I'm now regretting. read more

While I did receive a nice haircut, I felt I should make people aware of the pricing and menu. I'd hate to see anyone else get taken advantage of like I did. To my surprise upon checkout, my shampoo, haircut and blow dry was $54 dollars. I honestly stood there in shock for a few minutes after they requested $54 dollars. I have never paid that much for a shampoo, cut and blow dry, and I've gone to plenty of high end salons in my time. Apparently, the $30 blow dry was what got me. I would have omitted the blow dry if I knew that it was not included in the haircut price. Won't make that mistake again. read more

I love the stylists they are a great team! The only thing I will complain about is after I get color, I want a blow dry, so I'm not freezing cold outside! They charge 6.00 for this! Seriously I just paid for a color! Thanks to the owners now I have to leave with wet hair in the dead of winter! read more

I came to this place with my brother the other week, as I was in DIRE need of a hair cut... it had been since the end of 2008. All I wanted was to tighten it up by an inch or two, which happened, but there were chunks of hair that were not correctly trimmed on both sides and the front. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the service. I had not had a haircut this bad since my ex-girlfriend's mother gave me a trim (that did not end well...) I ended up having to take my own beard trimmer to the sides to clean them up. That worked out well, but I cannot say the same for the original haircut. Go elsewhere, and pay more than $14 for a cut, so you can walk away happy. read more

I just have seen this place slide over the last year. I no longer will go to get my hair cut there. I realize its a bargain place for a cut, but I still expected the staff to be professional and the service didn't equal the bargain price. Too bad, becuase its so close to me. It just seems that staff doesn't care much about the job or the customers. Maybe some managmeent change can help. read more

Although there are nicer salons I prefer to go, I just can't bear to to spend $40+ on a haircut when all I need is a trim. I've gone to this Cost Cutters location twice now for a trim. The same stylist cut my hair both times and did a nice job, even though it was a basic haircut. I got my eyebrows waxed once here as well and was satisfied. They're also just the right place for my husband's basic haircuts. He always comes home looking cute after a haircut here. :) Staff is friendly and cuts are only $12 on Tuesdays and $15 other days. I'll keep coming back for trims, but will probably continuing going to a nicer local salon when I want a new style or a more complex service. Overall I'm satisfied with Cost Cutters. read more

Came in for a blonde highlight touch up. Highlights were orange instead of blonde. After two color corrections my hair was dyed yellow! Complained to the owner and he gave me a partial refund and had someone "fix" my hair. Toned my hair brown, my original hair color, and put in brown lowlights. Walked out looking better than when I went in as long as my hair was down. Stylists were very nice and friendly but the next day I put my hair in a pony tail and my hair was still dyed yellow, you could not see the lowlights and the back of my head is my natural brown with my original highlights. It looked HORRIBLE!! I have to wear my hair in a ponytail for work. Contacted the owner again to let him know this and that I was still upset. He never responded showing me he could have cared less. Very unhappy customer who has to wear hats to cover up this stores mistake! I'm am embarrassed to show my hair and traumatized by this experience! read more

Had my hair cut here last week and couldn't be more pleased. From the young woman at front desk, Bri, to the stylist Sai, I was treated great and efficiently. Sai recently moved to this location from another and you know how it goes when you're comfortable with someone, you follow. The store itself is clean and evidently recently updated. Went on a Tuesday and you can't beat the $12 special. It's right off the freeway in a busy area, but it was easy to get in and out. Sai does outstanding fade cuts and takes his time to understand your needs. I'll be back! read more

I am giving CC four stars because I do not agree with their policy of calling the day of for a hair cut. I have been trying for two weeks to get a cut and my stylist has not been available for just a hair cut. I do not agree with this policy. read more
