Wow. This was my first and hopefully last experience with this company. If I could give them a…read morezero, I would. And I understand all the previous negative reviews. While in Richmond attending a dinner event, I noted as I parked my vehicle, that my front tire was low on air. I located a nail in the tire as the tire went flat. After the event, I returned to my vehicle and called BCAA. They advised me it would be up to 2 & 1/2 hrs for attendance and it would be Rusty's Towing that would be attending. I called Rusty's to get an ETA on the tow truck. I advised their dispatcher that I had called BCAA and they had advised Rusty's would be the tow truck operator. The dispatcher took my details and advised someone would be there in 45 minutes. After an hour, I called Rusty's again to get an update on their ETA. The dispatcher advised he could have one of his drivers attend on his way back from Vancouver and would be there in about 30 minutes. Fraser, from Rusty's Towing, arrived on scene 45 minutes later. This was 2+ hours after I first contacted BCAA. Fraser quickly replaced the tire with the spare. Then he advised what he would be charging me. I advised I was with BCAA and had called them first then followed up with Rusty's just to get a better ETA and that Rusty's dispatcher was made aware of this. Fraser advised they need a PO number and that I should have called BCAA first. I again advised Fraser I did call BCAA first. I advised Fraser that I will get BCAA on the line to confirm I had called them, get the PO number and that the issue was with his dispatcher. I got BCAA on the line and put them on speaker. They confirmed they had contacted Rusty's and provided the PO number. Fraser advised he did not want it as he was dispatched under a non-BCAA dispatch and that I had to pay the tire service charge despite his dispatcher confirming BCAA had contacted them first. Wow. Found out after, they get compensated at a lower rate for BCAA call outs. Total scam and criminal. Stay away from this company.

Anyways, everyone was friendly about it everything, yet I called another company for a quote when I got home and I could have saved $60 easily by calling a different company. Make sure you ask for a quote before they pick your car up so this doesn't happen to you too.
