They charged me $160 in total, and had a variety of reasons why... it was a highway pickup (more dangerous), it was at night (more dangerous), they needed to send a flatbed truck (for a 2 door Honda Civic), we were on the Delta side of the Massey tunnel (something to share with us beforehand?). Anyways, everyone was friendly about it everything, yet I called another company for a quote when I got home and I could have saved $60 easily by calling a different company. Make sure you ask for a quote before they pick your car up so this doesn't happen to you too. On the positive side, they were quick to get to us and called afterwards to let us know the car was delivered to our mechanic safely.

I waited for about an hour and a half and then I called them to get an ETA they told me it was going to be another 2 plus hours. They only use one tow company and they for some reason are not going to be able to make it until after 11:30 at the earliest. No call, no heads up they were just going to have me wait. I felt like I was dealing with a cut rate discount roadside company. It is almost comical that while on hold it talks about their goal is to provide an excellent customer experience. If you have Toyota roadside, I would reconsider or get a back up, because you can not count on them.

The woman had no idea what I was saying to her and escalated me after a 20-minute wait to another individual who told me that the phone system was having issues and she would need to hang up with me and she would call me back in 5 minutes. I don't know why she couldn't have just transferred me but I hung up and immediately called back and got someone else who was willing to help me.. The woman who told me she would call me back. Never did. And the woman I got the second time told me that I'm not in the system because of how new the vehicle is. Despite me telling the previous individual that I was betting that would be the case. She was just completely annoyed that she had to deal with me. Once I got it all straightened out I will say that I had a company reach out to me in about 10 minutes and was extremely apologetic that it may take them up to 45 minutes to get to me because they were 25 mi away and stuck in traffic, but I was fortunate enough that I ran over whatever I ran over in the road three houses away from my house so the vehicle was parked in my driveway. The only reason I didn't change the flat out myself was simply because I was working from home and would have rather let a service that I was provided after purchasing a $60,000 vehicle, do it for me instead of change into workout clothes and get sweaty and dirty myself.
