We had dinner there one night and other than getting too adventurous with the Wagyu Ribeye cap on a hot stone, our meal was great. Breakfast at Cobalt both mornings was delicious as well. Pool was small, but fit us perfectly for a couple's trip. I could see it getting crowded when children. The beach area was small and secluded, but service was great. We were upgraded to a King Studio Suite which was extremely generous and welcomed due to us celebrating my wife's birthday along with some other things. Front desk was helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Walking distance to several other local favorites. Being able to fly into Vero Regional and have a quick Uber to the hotel was also an added benefit. Would definitely entertain staying here again.

Shout out to Cassie, Rosie and Joey with Valet who remembered Bailey's name immediately. We were offered champagne at check in and given a nice map of the grounds. The resort itself is a little on the older side but all the amenities are still well kept. With my IHG status, we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and some sweets. The room was clean and had a huge dining room and kitchen area. It had all the essentials for a homey and comfortable stay. We loved that there were dog treats and little gift pouches in the reception area. The pool area is big and had pleasant lounge chairs. The gym is missing a trendmill, there are bikes for cardio but not great options. The restaurant we had breakfast at was pretty good. The chicken and waffles was amazing and the bagel sandwich was delicious.

Located across the street from a county park with beach access in the quiet south Vero Beach neighborhood. At night, sitting outside, you can hear the waves from the beach. Very relaxing, couple friendly with dog friendly rooms too. The rooms each have their own unique style and colors. Full kitchen with stove, refrigerator and microwave. Smart TV in the living room. Wall unit AC works great, thank goodness. If you want a safe, inviting, quiet escape in a spotlessly clean room, this is the place for you. This is about 1.8 miles from downtown beach resorts, use the bike or drive over but know you can come back to an inviting and comfortable room. Bring your groceries and decompress in old Florida.

The kitchen had a fridge and freezer, two burner stove, and a microwave. Plates, pots, utensils and glasses are provided. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Parking is easy in the attached lot. The pool is beautiful. The hotel is across from the beach. There's a few restaurants in walking distance. This is a very old HJ's but don't let this stop you from staying here. Prices are extremely…read morereasonable, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. Everything in the rooms works and ours had a mini fridge (without extra cost) which actually froze our sodas. The bed was ... oooohhhhh so comfortable. Usually my back hurts after more than two hours on any hotel bed. I slept like a baby all three nights at this HJ's. I wanted to take the bed home with me. Wi-Fi worked and was easy to log into. It was a bit slow... My only complaint was the Complimentary Breakfast. HJ's made a good faith attempt but it was awful. Coffee was weak and always empty; they used the pump carafes. Bread was prepackaged. Muffins were prepackaged. Toaster took three try to toast my packaged bread. No waffles, no bananas but there were apples and oranges. Sweeter for coffee was regular sugar and Saccharin (pink); no blue or yellow. If HJ were to make any changes to this hotel I would recommend they fix this area.

If I had been smart I would have driven into Vero and asked to see a room and I would have walked! The hall floors/walls/glass windows are filthy!!! My room was on the first floor close to the pool area. NO CHAIRS/TABLES anywhere in the pool area. They don't want anyone to use the pool, I guess. My room was gross! Carpet was full of debris (guessing the last time it was vacuumed was at least 2 mo. ago), bathroom floor NASTY....grout needs deep cleaning, tub gross, stained shower curtain, rusting shower head, toilet seat lid had what looked like feces on it. Stains on all the lamp shades. Grease next to the headboard of one of the beds. nightstand was filthy. I didn't want to touch anything. Sliding glass door dirty and big crack in the glass at the bottom of the door. I was so grossed out. I never once heard a vacuum cleaner being used by any of the tired, old staff on either two days I was there. I used the washer and dryer in the hall. DRYER DOES NOT DRY CLOTHES! Thankfully, the third and last night I was in Vero I drove to the beachside and stayed in a very clean nice beach resort hotel room. DON'T BOTHER STAYING AT HJ UNLESS YOU ARE DEAD BROKE.
