With this in mind, I have tried to be trusting and loyal to a particular, major auto repair shop in the area. I come from a small town--you know who to trust and who will do right by you. Youngstown isn't a "small town," at least not where I come from. It is difficult to know who to trust here. When you own an old vehicle, are on a budget and still realize that there is a need to leave room for car repairs--it means a lot to be able to trust people with your car. When you go to a large, commercial shop hoping that loyalty might mean something and excuse you from being taken advantage of, especially as a female--you hope that you can rely on these men to be straight with you. Not jerk you around because they can and because you have a balance on the charge card you felt blessed to have to cover extraordinary charges that come along with owning an old vehicle.
