[764] Cracked…read morewindshield!!! I called my Volvo dealership and they recommended Anthony Volk Glass to replace my front windshield. Turns out with the new cars I would also need to go to my dealership to have my front cameras recalibrated. Talked to Anthony to set up an appointment. He was responsive and was able to meet me at the dealership at my convenience. This made it easy for me to handle the replacement and camera recalibration at the same time. I also needed the dealership to reapply my inspection stickers. Everything was handled in a few hours so I was happy it was easily taken care of in one shot. Antony Volk Glass also handled the insurance paperwork. Hopefully I won't need him again but if I do I would definitely use this company again.

My 86-year-old mother had her front passenger window broken just for fun by a hoodlum. She took it to a different place who replaced the window and, believe it or not, glued it shut. He claimed that the glass run channel was not working, that the molding to hold the window in place wouldn't hold the glass in place, the bolts were rusted, etc., etc., etc. He was upset when I brought the car back to him and muttered why I wouldn't believe him. He put the fear of God in me that if he took the panel off he might not be able to replace it. After a discussion with our regular mechanic, who could not find new molding, I decided to not let this other place work on the car again. I was referred by someone else to Ed's Auto Glass. They told me about Tommy who has worked on windows forever and is a magician at fixing them. Long story short, Tommy looked at it, said he could fix it, and did so in a couple of hours the next day. It needed some lubricant, clips, and someone that knew what they were doing. It is better than new as he also screwed on a part of the door that had fallen off previously and had nothing to do with the job. At this point, I would never, ever, ever, take my auto glass to anyone but Ed's Auto Glass. They are serious professionals who did an amazing job. My 86-year-old mother, who went through World War II and the Holocaust, was absolutely thrilled to get her car back. The price I paid for the job was fair. The look on my mother's face when she got her car back with a fixed window was priceless and something I will always remember. Thank you so very much for putting some real joy into my mother's life.
