[764] Cracked windshield!!! I called my Volvo dealership and they recommended Anthony Volk Glass to replace my front windshield. Turns out with the new cars I would also need to go to my dealership to have my front cameras recalibrated. Talked to Anthony to set up an appointment. He was responsive and was able to meet me at the dealership at my convenience. This made it easy for me to handle the replacement and camera recalibration at the same time. I also needed the dealership to reapply my inspection stickers. Everything was handled in a few hours so I was happy it was easily taken care of in one shot. Anthony Volk replaced my 2018 BMW X6 windshield due to a crack caused by a stone. I was pleased to see that he was a local person and certified for many car manufacturers. But the most important point of this review was his professionalism and careful attention to detail -- not only with the glass installation itself, but with the dashcam that was also mounted to the windshield up next to the windshield cameras behind the mirror. He also used genuine BMW parts - not knock-offs. I watched most of the process and his experience showed. He was very careful when applying the right amount of caulk as to not oooze out of the moldings when applied and he also took time to remove the lower dash cowl -- that some others said they didn't have to do. Removing the cowl enables a straight down factory type installation rather than sliding the windshield down under the cowl which corrupts the caulking. Anthony was cordial and answered questions. He was not in a hurry. He also made sure I waited an hour for the caulk to set rather than letting me drive off (to avoid safety issues). His office staff couldn't have been nicer - just as cordial -- even offering a snack to me and my dog as I waited. Highly pleased with his work and would HIGHLY recommend over the more commercialized quantity sales based national chain outfits. read more
