Kettle corn, corn dogs, funnel cakes, beef jerky, fresh squeezed lemonade & so much more...come n get it!
    Lillian W.

This bright yellow food truck serves up carnival type treats done right...kettle corn, corn dogs, funnel cakes, tornado potato, flavored beef jerky, ice cream sundae, fresh squeezed lemonade...yum! I have to admit that I have enjoyed several of their menu items on multiple occasions. Corn dog: My fave and go to is the beef corn dog. The corn dog uses quality Miller all beef brand stadium size dogs. $5. Expertly dipped so no wonky mishaps. The corn meal batter is perfectly fried to a golden crisp. They also have hot link and linguica corn dogs $6. Kettle corn: they got a variety. But I stick to the original flavor. It is pre-bagged but made fresh. Popcorn is popped big and fluffy. Sweet and salty. $5 a bag. Fresh squeezed lemonade: Tasty. Tart with just the right amount of sweetness. I really enjoy it. 24 ounces $5.

Funnel cake with ice cream, whipped cream and so much more!

I was in Stockton for a work event and Costa's truck was outside the venue. I was chatting with the owner about how amazing the funnel cakes looked and before I knew it, he walked over with one of the giant funnel cakes topped with all the fixings and gave to our crew. It was DELICIOUS--the vanilla ice cream was very creamy, the strawberries were just sweet enough, and the funnel cake was light and crispy. T Thank you so much to the owner and everyone should order a funnel cake the next time they visit Costa's truck!

Small bags: Chicago Style (cheddar & caramel), Butter, and Multi flavor colorful deliciousness (my favorite)!!!

The owners remember your name, your usual order, and greet you like you've been coming there for years--even if you haven't. You pull up thinking you're just grabbing a quick bite, and next thing you know you're laughing, talking about your week, and wondering how a food truck just outdid most sit-down restaurants in customer service. They're running a full kitchen out of a truck and still make time to treat every person like a regular. Great food, great people, and an all-around good vibe. I recommend the steak sandwich, the Super Sammy Special. Honestly, give it some time and it'll probably be renamed the Jason Special J/K. 100% recommend. Just don't be surprised if you leave in a better mood than you showed up with.

While everything on the menu sounded great, I was really just in a munchie mood and decided to order just fries. The staff were super accommodating and graciously gave me one of each sauce to try, which I really appreciated. The ordering process was easy, and as promised when I placed my order, the fries were ready within a few minutes, sauces and all. For $6, I was happy with the size of my order. The sauces were also unique and I enjoyed alternating between them for a different experience each bite. My favorites were the Caesar and the spicy ketchup. My coworkers said they liked their orders as well. The garlic fries looked and smelled amazing but I didn't want garlicky breath for the rest of the conference, so I'll have to try those next time!

This burrito was the best thing I had ever tasted. It was so good, every day after that, anytime I was eating, I was just wishing it was that burrito. At one point I actually wished that I could un-taste it. Because now everything else just seemed flavorless, or lacking in comparison. It ruined all other food for me. It was easier not remembering how good it was, since I'm sure it's not very healthy and I would be better not knowing. That was until last night. I finally gave in and decided I would get it again. I hadn't eaten all day so I was actually starting to feel nauseated from being so hungry. I went around 9:00pm. Ordered the same exact thing. The woman who took my order was friendly, and my order was ready surprisingly fast! I grabbed my food, went home, turned on a movie, and started digging in to what I had waited so long for, and thought so much about. I ate about 1/5 of the burrito before I started thinking it tasted kind of funny... I couldn't figure out what it was, but something was wrong with it. I kept eating it and decided I recognized what it tasted like- fish! I do like seafood, so I just figured, maybe they just finished making some fish, and didn't clean the grill off well enough before making mine. I wasn't sure if I was crazy, or if it really tasted like fish. So, I asked my boyfriend to take a bite and tell me if it tasted fishy to him. He took a bite and said "that's fish they accidentally gave you fish instead" and went and spit out the bite in the trash. Well, I looked up the menu, and it turns out, they don't even serve any fish or seafood! I googled why my burrito might taste like fish, and it said rancid meat. Anyways- I'm really, really disappointed. Because last week was the best burrito I have had in my life, whereas last night was the worst. It's quite a gamble.

I finally had to post about it because there's literally no way to look them up unless you've got their business card tucked in your glove box. It's that kind of local secret. They're pretty quick but when they're busy, it's a wait. I wanted to call them the other day so I could go in and out and couldn't find her business card in my glove box. Also, they only take cash. Let's talk about the sopes -- these things are unreal. Thick, fresh masa with perfectly crisp edges, loaded with your choice of meat, beans, fresh toppings, and that house-made salsa that hits just right. Nowhere else in town makes sopes. Then there's the mulitas -- a must-try, especially with al pastor or carnitas. Crispy, cheesy, meaty heaven stacked between tortillas. They don't hold back on flavor. And of course, the classics: the carne asada is juicy and full of chargrilled flavor, and the birria is rich, tender, and perfect whether you get it in tacos or on its own. La Fondita may not have a flashy online presence, but that's part of the charm. It's authentic, consistent, and always delicious. This truck is a staple in the community, and once you try it, you'll be hooked. If you stumble upon it -- consider yourself lucky. That I decided that new customers won't have to keep that business card somewhere safe.

I don't think I would come back to this truck.
