COSTCO TIRE CENTER: Got a nail on my tire the previous day (04/23). Booked an appointment for Friday at 11:30 AM. I was there at 11:35 AM. Agreed I'm late by 5 minutes and what so ever most of these kind of places would be able to accommodate and help me with the issue, but for a change Costco Tire Center in Alpharetta doesn't! I usually call ahead and let someone know if I'm running late, but when I got into Windward Parkway it was too much traffic and got delayed so didn't get a chance to call them ahead and let them know that I would be running in 5 mins late. Upon reaching, I was made to wait for 15 minutes until 11:49 as there was just one guy attending 3-4 people ahead of me. By the time I got my chance the ONLY person who was at the front desk simply refused to take in as per my appointment (even though I told him I was here by 11:35) and he was busy with others and no one else was there to attend me who was in the line as per the appointment. The two people ahead of me were enquiring about new set of tires going back and forth which had no relevance to the rest of people standing in the line for pick up or drop off. So yes, I was moved to the WALK IN queue and was told it would take 2 hours at least. I didn't have an option. But had to wait there for 2.5 hours. What should have been a simple 30 minutes to 1 hour job, took almost 3 hours. I'm pretty sure even if I had reached exactly at 11:30 I would have made to stand until 11:49 because the people ahead of me were trying to buy out the whole tire shop or not sure. Nothing against them, but definitely they need to have separate lines for new tire inquiries versus pickup or drop off! Really it's high time they look for someone to be there at the front desk to handle two entirely different things. Because anyone can walk in and enquire for an hour or two or for the whole day about different tires they have in stock, the offers, the perks the additions the benefits the rewards etc, while the pick up or drop off customer has to simply wait behind them until it's their turn and sacrifice their appointment slot! Have been to the Dunwoody Tire Center and they are a lot better in my mining except that they are far away from where I currently live and can't afford to drive with a tire having low/ no pressure. Never would even think of returning here for the long unnecessary wait times and attitude that these people have and definitely showing zero compassion towards customers. BOTTOMLINE: Extremely long unnecessary wait times. You miss your appointment (even if it's not your fault entirely) they literally throw you off the list and make you wait for close to 2-3 hours just because they can't check you in because they are busy handling other customers and there's only one front desk person available. My husband and I went to Costco yesterday. The closest one to us is this location because it's the biggest and easier for my husband and I especially coming to work from work. We went there to grab some toilet paper water and some eggs tons out I will card had expired so we needed to renew it. Their gold stock card has gone up to $65 a year it evens out considering how much I shopped there for the family having a family of five means I need to budget well in order to make it work and so shopping at Costco is very helpful especially for household items like paper towels, toilet paper water I mean family size in a grocery like eggs, cereal, milk, butter, so all of that was got yesterday so we did have a great experience. There's a bit of an expansion taking place there so there was a little bit of a barricade getting in so if you're shopping here be careful there's been a slight increase in prices as well but overall, if you have a family and can afford the gold store Out would recommend you get it because it evens out if you shop there at least 3 to 5 times a year it's worth it. read more

My review is about the Costco gas station only in Alpharetta. I didn't go inside the store. I had never been in the area before, but needed to fill up my gas tank. Searching Yelp, I found out there was a Costco nearby with a gas station. I got into one of the long lines, thinking that it wouldn't be long until I got to the pumps. Nope! I was in line almost 30 minutes. There were multiple pumps for each line, and there was at least one employee weaving his way through the pumps area helping customers. What the employee also should've done was direct customers next in line for the pumps to go to open pumps in front of any customers already filling their tanks. This sure would've made the whole waiting process a lot shorter. For whatever reason, the majority of the customers didn't go around any cars already pumping gas and just waited for the lone car in front of them to leave before they pulled to the front pump. Aaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhh! So frustrating! Ok, call me impatient, but there really aren't any good reasons to wait if the opportunity to pull up to an available pump exists! So inefficient! I don't know if this is even a thing, but this is so amazing, I'm hoping that they don't take it away. I don't normally go to the Alpharetta location, but we did and they had a lemon meringue cheesecake. I am not normally a fan of Costco cheesecake, but this is another level. There's a layer of cheesecake, which is good, then a layer of lemon cream. I'll call it, and then the most amazing meringue on top. It is not too sour or too sweet. It is a light, lemon flavor, that reminds me of an icebox pie. If it helps, my husband is not a lemon person, but he likes this. Parking is a nightmare, the employees are either flirting with each other or looking absolutely miserable. There is never anyone in the actual store except for those nice folks passing out samples. They just redid the food court but you won't be able to tell the difference. The seating is jammed packed, the service is slow and the food quality is horrible. ((Well, the hot dogs are still a good value and pretty good)) don't waste your money on the Caesar salad, the lettuce is wilted, the chicken is so cold it was almost frozen. Returned one and the second was worst than the first. Threw it away. The entire warehouse is filled with flies and fruit gnats. It is just not what it used to be. read more

Costco at Jordan CT Alpharetta is my favorite place to visit at least twice a week. So well organized, neat and clean. Over crowded at some point of the day. We go there at weekdays noon and enjoy their free samples as well. I bought a small diamond necklace earlier last week. I wanted to adjust the length of the necklace little bit but it was hard for me. This dear saleslady at the jewelry counter stopped and I started talking to her and told her my concerns. She was extremely helpful and friendly, she went out of her way and adjusted the necklace length that I was wearing. I love the way it shows the stud now. I should have asked her name. I love Costco. Almost all of my my visits to all of the locations I've been to have been at 4 stars with the occasional 5 star location. This is no exception. It is usually quite clean considering the high amount of traffic it receives. I really mean that. This place is BUSY! The parking lot can be Mad Max at times. I usually come for frozen fruit, snacks, and coffee. They all seem to have about the same types of products at each location so nothing to wonder about. You can also purchase a big slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza for $1.99. During the holidays, they sell large (7'-8') Douglas Fir Christmas trees for $35 to $40. You pay for the tree inside and then pick up the tree outside by the large truck trailer. The employees will help lift the tree on top of your vehicle, but they won't help you tie down the tree. We have bought our Christmas trees here on the Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving for the past few years. Prior to COVID-19, they used to give out samples. You could literally walk around the store and try different meat, cheese or pasta items. It was a great way of trying new items before you buy them. Most of the employees are courteous and helpful. Today I was in a long line of customers waiting to check out. An employee came over and asked if I was paying with my Visa or debit card. When I confirmed that I was, she invited me to join her in the self checkout area. She scanned my card and all of the items in my cart. It was a quick and easy process. My only complaint about Costco is that they switched from Coke to Pepsi in the cafeteria area. I used to love purchasing a hotdog and a Coke for a quick lunch. This place has great prices and the quality is excellent but if you're a regular shopper at this location be prepared for the psychic floor resets. The latest change has taken the chips, packaged cookies and other prepackaged baked goods and moved them away from the bakery all the way over to the pharmacy. This makes zero sense but get used to it, most of their floor resets that seem to occur almost weekly seem to make no sense. I had a nail and leaking tire and ended up going to Sam's Club despite being a member of Costco for 18 years! Sam's Club Alpharetta had a very customer service friendly team who replaced my tires and had me out in 45 minutes despite a full schedule at 10 am on a Saturday. Though I've been a member of Costco for nearly 18 years, they could not accommodate me for a week despite the emergency with my tire. And the tires were $100 lesser at Sam's club! This joint is awesome. Of course you have the ever so tasty and equally as cheap options from the food court: from parfaits to pizza. But it doesn't stop there. You can get the hook up on gasolina; clothes - and they're slick; food in bulk; ready to eat while baked chickens; et cetera, et cetera.. If you're the miser type you're cheating yourself by not stopping through. The customer service at COSTCO tire center is terrible. I purchased my tires here for the first time in November with a warranty and had to bring the vehicle back twice for repair. The employees are not helpful and don't want to be bothered. They are not efficient with getting cars in and out for simple repairs. I waited 2 hours for a simple tire leak from the tire center not installing a tire correctly. I will never buy tires here again. Discount tire by far has better customer service! read more

I bought a 65 inch Samsung TV from the Alpharetta Costco on November 27. It quit working last Saturday, March 20 so I called the Costco Concierge Service number and they told me to contact the store directly since it was so close to the 90 day store return policy. I then called the store directly as recommended and was pretty much called a liar by a gentleman named Matt. He said he checked with the store manager and was told no and that the Concierge Service would never have told me that. So while the TV is under warranty by Samsung, I have just been getting the runaround on why they can't seem to get anyone out to repair the TV. I have made numerous calls the past week to resolve the problem and as of the last call it will be another three days before someone is supposed to call me about scheduling and appointment for repair. I have already been told this twice before. Two things I have learned, don't buy Samsung and don't expect the Alpharetta Costco to help you out. read more
