$7.99 seems a great deal but the washing apparatus never gets close enough to actually touch and clean my 4 door sedan. Maybe it's meant for washing the trucks/ SUVs, but I'm not coming back with my Camry. It would definitely explain the short line (as compared to the Torrance location) The only thing it did was just smear the bugs on my windshield instead of cleaning it off, so I had to go to another car wash immediately afterwards to get a true clean. I've been coming to this car wash since it opened. It washes better than other local car washes. I've never had an issue with my tires and rims not being washed. Although I've had 2 broken antennas going through. The 1st was the original antenna and my car is 12 yrs old SUV. Sometimes the rinse doesn't completely get the tires and you're left with white stuff on the tires. 4 starts because there are no vacuums. Pretty cool that a Costco car wash is open in this area. Prior to this, the Costco Gas in Norwalk was a HOT mess in regards to their line, always being unorganized or completely running off into the street, causing mayhem. Seems like with the addition of this car wash, they've completely reorganized the line and entries for both and it's working very well. There is a separate entrance if you're doing car wash only and separate signs towards the car wash for those who pre-paid when getting gas. There are 2 lines to enter/pay for the car wash and it states "pre-paid goes directly to entrance". With that being said, I hope they think of opening up a separate line for pre-paid customers. That would help. Attendants look at your receipt, verify, tape your rear wiper (if applicable), and push in your side mirrors. That made me nervous because I thought "does this mean I have to get out to push my mirrors back out??? That sucks". But no. When going through the dry blowers, they're strong enough that they just pop back out. It was quite nice. Like any other drive-thru car wash, it doesn't COMPLETELY clean your car, but it will do enough to notice the difference. I was surprised to see a Costco drive thru car wash so I tried it. They only have basic wash for 7.99 and no vacuums. My car was very dirty and it came out looking very very clean. Some of the reviews say that their car was damaged but after inspecting my car, everything looked fine. I messed up because I did not have my physical membership card (only the card on my app) with me in order to purchase a car wash while in line but the worker right in front of the car wash entrance ran to the kiosk to buy me a wash before I entered. I will not forget my physical card next time but I believe that you can also pre purchase a wash, I'm just not sure how. The best drive-thru car wash I've been to, by far! The wax in their shampoo has the car coming out shinier than any of the other ones I've been to. Plus, it includes tire scrubbing (although the tire shine is inconsistent) and undercarriage cleaning. I can't speak on the sensors resulting in paint scratches, as I didn't experience any. The scrubbers do come in closer contact and actually scrub the car (and roof) unlike other drive-thru washes though - which I appreciate. Was excited when I saw Costco, Norwalk was building a carwash on the same lot as their gas station. Anticipated the convenience of filling up plus driving off with a newly washed, sparkling car! My car is Gunsmoke gray. The entire driver's side of my car is now gouged with too many to count, long, deep scratches. Clay rub won't get them out. PLUS the soap they use doesn't get completely rinsed off my car, leaving multiple soap spots all over. In two places the soap stuck together in piles and I had to gently scrape it off the car.
