I own a business and had a minute before going to a project and decided to stop at this 711 to grab a couple things (which they didn't have) when this strange elderly man with odd glasses, working behind the counter was staring at me then accused me of putting something in my front pants pocket. He seemed disoriented and I was caught off guard by the accusation considering you could see the suspected pocket was visibly flat after insisting I show him the contents of this pocket and then left without purchasing my Gatorade . I don't feel comfortable going to this location any more and will let my community know that this not a place to shop. I stopped in for a quick slurpee on a hot day. All of their slurpees were functioning (no red lights), which is rare for a 7-Eleven on a hot day. They had about 5-6 flavor choices. The store was organized and relatively clean. The cashiers were very friendly! The location is also a gas station, and although the parking lot is small and a bit awkward, it is in a low traffic area, which makes this location decent. Saturday July 29th 3:30ish. Went to buy two Slurpees, this is why you go to 7/11 for right! The staff had taped signs on the Slurpee machines, "No Slurpees"??? What??? The machines were in service, clean and operating as designed. I turned the handle and Slurpee came out??? I walked up front, found an employee, an older woman, with a mask on. I asked if the machines were broken, she yelled "NO SLURPEES! All you people do is make a mess and I'm not cleaning up the mess anymore!" I thought she was kidding,, so I kindly said, "If I promise not to make a mess." To my suprise, she snapped back at me "I SAID NO SLURPEES!" I was kind of embarrassed but was not about to argue with the lady so we walked out... SMH, DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN??? I have been in there many times and could not believe an employee wouldbe so rude and have the audacity to say something like that to a customer . Gonna think twice about going back there. Love this place, have gone there for 20 years. The manager named Kelly is very smart and down to earth. I was confused why they weren't carrying a certain promo other 7-11's were and she explained a new law which bans the product promo in unincorporated towns but not cities which is why the 7-11 across the way was allowed to run the promo. Also they have a dude works there who looks like Chris Pratt. Fun group recommend 100%. Only negative is harder to get to than before because they are next to Frisbee street, which has an illegal unethical partial road closure to give a city councilman's mother/mother in law a private street paid for by taxpayers. This is a pretty big 7-11, it has a gas station which is not outrageously priced considering the location. They sell liquor here which is odd for a 7-11, its convenient and a little overpriced, but that's what you pay for. The thing that bothers me the most about this location is the exits to the road. On Frisbie you can only exit left, and on Bonita Rd you can only exit right...and the cops enforce it...so do the annoying people on Frisbie. . Went to this 7-11 on Sunday November 20th. 3 kids had to be around 12-13 with skateboards come in as I'm shopping. The guy which I found out his name was John and he owned the store, asked the kids to put their skateboards by the door (not sure why) but they did. They man proceeded to follow them from a distance to see what their doing (didn't even attempt to hide it) I guess he caught me staring at him and he proceeded to say "you gotta watch those skateboarders, they're criminals" and I replied " are you joking or no?" He said "kinda". It's was definitely upsetting to know that this man was blatantly being prejudice towards those kids for no reason. I left the store and I assume he continued to followed the kids until they left. I've never been in a situation in my adults years where I've noticed this type of behavior. I do like 7-11 they have good prices a good selection you can get in and out quickly and they have a great coffee selection. The one thing I don't like is the amount of homeless people this store attracts. Almost every 7-11 I go to has homeless out front. I know they are limited as to what they can do but it would be nice to see a little bit more being done. The staff is almost always friendly and they care about keeping the store nice I always see them sweeping and mopping and attending to the coffee station. My kids go to 7-11 every day after school for a snack and with that much traffic is why I think the homeless hang out here they are always asking the kids for money. 7-11 makes the kids line up outside and only lets a few in at a time which I totally get it and the kids do to but it's outside that they are approached for money while in line. Bambi is probably the worst customer service person I've ever come across. When she makes an error, she blames the customer and causes a scene instead of just fixing the problem. I had asked her to put $5 on pump 7. The pump wasn't working so I walked back to the store. She was glaring at me; and had her hand on her hip leaning against the register like I just got caught stealing a slurpee. While ignoring the customer in front of her, she shouted through the window as I walked up "You said 5 on 5... That's 7!" Aside from the complete unnessary hostility she showed, that was completely pointless. I felt like she was taking out her poor life decisions on her customers. I visited this location tonight to purchase lotto tickets. It was 6:45 pm so I figured I had plenty of time. There were three employees present, as described above, but only one on the register with a line 10 customers deep. The cashier was extremely slow and performed as if it was his first day on the job. I am not kidding you that at 6:58 another employee opened another register to help out. When it was my turn, it was too late to purchase a lotto ticket. I would avoid this 7-11 unless you have lots of time on your hands to spare because they are lazy and basically don't give AF about customers. Today, in the early part of a hot afternoon, I made my normal stop by my neighborhood 7-11 as I have done several times a week for the past 20 years. It was a very hot day so I was looking forward to my normal large Slurpee. I came to the counter and the cashier was an older gentleman (dark hair), incredibly grumpy and rude, immediately (without saying hello) said "those are not the cups you can use for a slurpee" , I said well " I come in often and a very kind young lady clerk always rings me up at a higher rate for the larger Slurpee and I have appreciated the customer service, please go ahead and charge me what you want". He continued proudly and in an irritated voice said "well I am the manager and its going to stop". I said really ?, I guess I will have to go to another store from now on and he replied "fine". WOW.... I couldn't believe my ears. In 20 years, of patronizing this same store, I have never been treated so incredibly rude. I have never even seen this man at this store. 1. I don't care what his position is - he is in a customer service position and obviously cared more about telling me what he was going to do as the "manager" than making a SIMPLE accommodation to make a ale and keep a loyal customer 2. His tone of voice was insulting and not deserved. I was very kind and felt as those he was acting as if I was in some way ripping him off by using a different cup, even though I paid the higher price OVER $3.50. 3. I DO understand that the large Big Glup cup is different from the large Slurppee cup. Plastic is plastic and making a sale, in a kind respectful manner to accommodate a customer should the FIRST thing he knows how to do effectively not only as a representative of the 7-11 brand but for goodness sakes - he is a manager ?! 4. If I was the franchise owner and the corporate division of customer service I would NOT want this man as my manager. His behavior and the way he treated and spoke to me were appalling and completely uncalled for. 5. I am an elementary school principal and I cringe thinking about the fact that he was so easily rude to me, a very kind adult, how would he treat all the kids that patronize that store. There are two elementary schools within two miles of that store. I hope that this unfortunate even is brought to the attention of corporate customer service and the franchise owner. This is one of the dirtiest stores. The parking always has trash on the ground and the pavement is completely filthy. The 7-11 stores in the worst areas of the county are cleaner. They need to pick up the trash, and power wash the parking lot. The pavement is covered in stains and debris. The employees need work on customer service too. I live close by and this is my neighborhood 7-11 store. Many times you stand at the register and employees never acknowledge you, but they carry on with their meaningless conversations. Let me start off by saying I've gone too this 7/11 for 4 years, and not once have I ever had an altercation with a worker. I've never once had a problem with my drivers license and buying alcohol or tobacco there, not once. My I.D. is a little bent from it being in my back pocket and sitting on it the wrong, so I taped it with clear tape so it wouldn't further damage, and I've been using it to buy alcohol with no problem. Up until TESS (one of the store cashiers) decided to have the nerve to sarcastically say "I've never heard of that happening to someone's I.D." In my head I was thinking that I never asked her for her opinion. She then proceeded to say she may not be able to accept my I.d. because it looks tampered with. From the start she had it out for me and I have no idea why. Maybe because I look so young and she underestimated me for some illogical reason. I then asked her where her name tag was and she said it was in the back and that her name was Tess. I then told her she should have it on her work shirt for customer service purposes, she then had the audacity to tell me "my boss doesn't worry about me having it on, so I'm good" At this time she's making my blood boil because of her attitude towards me. I told her that I didn't ask her what her boss told her, and that I'm the customer and she's the worker. After that she said "you're not going to get no where with that attitude" She should be better at the quality in the way she talks to customers. I wasn't going to let her try to be the bitch she was being, so I told her to stop being a bitch, she then proceeded to tell me that I need to respect my elders.
