Gas station hot dogs in a Michelin dining town? Count me in! Honor Market does it the classic way: mustard, relish, onions, sauerkraut. No ketchup, as tradition demands. The hot dog has a perfect snap, the bun is remarkably soft and delicious, and it may very well be the cheapest meal in town. Simple, satisfying, and unpretentiously excellent.

Honor Hot Dog w/ freshly baked R+D poppy seed brioche bun, onions, ding's relish ($9) - You have to bring your own ketchup!

4.5 STARS TEAM KETCHUP On hot dogs, burgers, fried chicken, eggs, and *gasps* rice (ketchup fried rice). Don't judge if you've never had to cook a struggle meal. If you're team ketchup too, at least for hot dogs, you'll have to bring your own to Honor Market. Apparently, the owner doesn't believe ketchup should be on hot dogs. Honor Market's hot dog has been touted as the "Best Hot Dog in Napa Valley"... A warm, juicy hebrew national hot dog nestled inside a freshly baked R+D poppyseed brioche bun. Top it off with your choice of mustard, diced onions, ding's relish and/or sauerkraut. Stingy on the diced onions and relish but it's a familiar savory, salty comfort food that hits! What sets it apart from your ordinary hot dog is that soft bun with a mildly nutty flavor. And, for $9, it's the cheapest meal you'll find in bougie Yountville (aside from Tacos Garcia truck)! O T H E R I N F O * Honor Market is an old skool filling station and market FKA Kelly's Filling Station. * They're also known for their scones and affogatos using Danesi espresso and Straus vanilla soft serve. * Assortment of artisan candy + snacks, bottled drinks, beer, wine, and souvenirs. * Great customer service from the blonde cashier/barista. The other lady preparing the hot dogs, not so much. * Two high tops inside. A handful of high tables outside. * Restrooms are in back of the building.

Amazing affogato and yummy hot dogs - no joke! Strauss with their perfect espresso hit the spot while walking around the infamous street in Yountville, oh and served in a generously sized cup too! The what can I say - is it the bun that makes it or the dog itself? Either way, I never thought I'd say go to Napa Valley for the best hotdog! Even a family member who was with us on our trip said it was a very good hotdog and they're from NYC! The soft serve with EVOO and sea salt was sooo good too. Even though our reservations are mainly at a restos on the main street, Honor Market will be a stop each time. Lastly, great selection of local wines and a grab and go setting - so convenient + staff were friendly too.

The fanciest gas station that includes a convenience store that I have been into. They sell some great selection of wines, cheese, crackers, salamis, and coffee with reasonable prices. A great gem in the area for sure

What an adorable little market/ gas station. If we were not so full from dinner I would have bought an affogato. The person in front of me ordered two of them. I stopped by to see if they had this cheese that I loved wine tasting a few years back. They actually had the cheese. I decided to try these two that I have not had. I will be back to try the soft serve straus ice cream with espresso.

THE best hot dogs around! No lie, the bun is nothing less than perfectly soft & fluffy texture with the perfectly tender crust poppyseed top. The dog itself is a healthy tasty thick beef dog. You can have with choices of sauerkraut, onions, relish, and/or mustard. It's worth my 60 mile drive.

Legit dog and affogato. So delicious!!

Holy, you know what! I have discovered the best two things in Yountville. Now I will need to go clothes shopping because my clothes will surely shrink after living on my two new favorite things..a hotdog and affogato! Yup, it's like that. The dog is nestled in a freshly baked poppy seed bun with the works (onion, Dings relish, mustard). So good that I will take all of my visiting family and friends here to try one. The affogato was so good as well. The spot itself is unique. It's a working gas station with cool stuff. You can grab a hotdog and drink to enjoy inside or outside. Try one, you won't regret it!

Glizzy with everything and a coke.

Came in before heading home. 5 out of 5. Need a hotdog, cone here. The girls working the counter are nice. Amd the hotdogs are $8 but worth it. They used to be dressed like a chicago dog, that's no more. The buns are baked fresh at R+D kitchen. They use hebrew national glizzies. Come have one next time you're in Yountville.

Stop this place is so cute. It's literally a little gas station! You could get snacks, wine, and the best hotdog! We go there around noonish, pretty easy to find a parking. The store had a little line but moved quickly. We shared a hot dog because we had just had pastries at a different place. I wish we would've got one to go it was so good! If you get everything on the hot dog it comes with mustard, relish, onions and sauerkraut on a poppy seed bun. I can't remember how much we paid for it but I remember thinking it was reasonably priced. Definitely a must try!

Honor Market is a cute little coffee and wine shop in Yountville. It's the perfect stop for a pastry and a little caffeine boost before your wine country adventuring for the day. I got the lavender chai latte, which was tasty and not too sweet or syrupy. It's also a great place to pick up a bottle of wine for dinner (no corkage fee on certain bottles if you take them to R&D). Bonus tip... did you know that you can consume wine at any of Yountville's public parks--if you're of age, that is! That means you can choose a bottle of wine here and take it to enjoy on the grass at one of Yountville's several scenic parks.

A pick me up, vanilla ice cream w a shot of espresso.

Great selections, best hot dogs in the valley and a wonderful warm staff. Cheers Greg

Who? Who would have said this gas station market would be this good? I walked in and was kindly greeted. I looked around to see if they had my favorite Pinot Noir. I then decided to get what I came for, The Hot Dog. As described in other reviews, the soft bread/bun and the quality of the dog make it a winner. I will be back. Even after eating at those other places next door and around the corner.

The most delicious scone! Great customer service & no long line. The cookies looked good too.

Brut rose and a hot dog life is good!

He goes to each and every table to say hi and check on his guests. It's rare for a restaurant manager to do that. His hospitality is unmatched and he is very humble. The staff is amazing - Michael, Jonathan, Eric's the bartenders there's two of them. It's not a kid friendly place but I brought my kids there a few weeks ago for my moms birthday but as they were winding down lunch service so we wouldn't disturb other patrons and they were beyond nice to me still. We stayed almost 3 hours outside and they were so accommodating with my kids . Again, very rare for a restaurant like this to be so kind and not annoyed with me for my kids being there. The raviolio is a dish I have to have at least every month if not every 2 weeks. Every dish is absolutely fantastic but the raviolio is out of this world and I've never been disappointed with that dish or any other dish. What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.

Unfortunately, our experience on Memorial Day weekend was anything but. From the moment we arrived, the hostess set a tone that was unwelcoming and, frankly, rude. Rather than graciously managing what was clearly a staffing challenge, she repeatedly reminded us -- as if it were our problem to carry -- that they only had one server on the floor. On a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. One of the busiest hospitality weekends of the year. I understand staffing is difficult in the industry. What I don't understand is how a restaurant at this price point, in this location, can justify charging premium prices, expecting 20%+ gratuity, and then making guests feel like an inconvenience for showing up. That is a management failure, not a guest failure. A great front-of-house professional absorbs operational stress and protects the guest experience. What we received was the opposite -- we were made to feel like a burden before we even sat down. This review has also been sent to corporate leadership. Guests deserve better, especially at these prices.

What caught my eye was their Taco Tuesday specials and today just happens to be Tuesday! We came in early evening, just before the dinner rush and apparently this is a very popular local bar and grill. Most of their customers were regulars, I could tell. It felt warm and comfortable inside and it had a very community feel in there. I was observing how the server conversed with every customer and she was so kind and attentive. She was very helpful to me in suggesting some of their popular menu items. We got the fish tacos, the shrimp tacos, the lamb sliders, Brussels sprouts, grilled tri-tip, the flautas and the empanadas. I would say my personal favorites were the grilled tri-tip, the Brussels sprouts and the empanadas. The Brussels sprouts were lightly crispy and chewy but absorbed all the roasted shallot vinaigrette, so it was a nice umami bite every time. The tri-tip was cooked like I like it (I don't like my beef bloody, sorry, not sorry). It was so flavorful thanks to the black truffle compound butter! Omg! It was delicious! The empanadas were lightly crispy and came with a really good chipotle crema sauce and I was dipping my empanada in that sauce because it really complemented the chicken tinga filling and crispy cornmeal crust. My oldest son loved the fish tacos. They were so crispy and loaded. My youngest son loved the lamb sliders. They were tasty and had a slight smokiness but the rosemary aioli brought it all together for me. It was such a nice touch. Overall, based on the outstanding service we received and the delicious food, I would highly recommend this place if you're in Napa. We live in the East Bay, but whenever I come to Napa, I will remember to stop here to get some good eats! The staff was also friendly and super sweet!
