Cheapest gas in the valley. Can't go wrong there! I always come here for my weekly fill up!

Costco consistently has some of the lowest gas prices in the area. That of course means long lines at this gas station. Fortunately, the gas station is placed in such a way that the lines feed through the large parking lot, and don't easily spill into the street. Once the lines start overflowing onto Tampa Ave, then it's probably in your best interest to find another gas station, unless saving a couple bucks is worth 45 minutes of your time. This station has 16 pumps (8 lanes with 2 pumps each), so it's designed for high throughput. However, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving (one of the busiest days of the year when people visiting LA are trying to fill up and drive back home), 8 of these pumps were intentionally disabled. Only one pump in each lane was working. We came at 10am, but even by then we had to wait a good 25 minutes. I shudder to imagine how long the lines must've gotten later in the day. What the heck, Costco? Do you enjoy trolling people? read more

Gas prices are outrageous now a days....but Costco gas =Best price in town. Lanes are organized and Costco employees (usually) keep the cars moving. But once in awhile you get some "special" peeps who don't realize the gas hose can be moved to either side of the automotive gas tank and that green lights signal an open space to PULL UP! I've never had to wait more than 6 minutes so it's worth it---then I swing by Costco sometimes to get some essentials. read more

I went & got gas today at Costco. While I was filling the tank I happen to look over in the parking lot. The guy that works around by the gas station was pushing a customer's car. Two guys were right there & i thought they were going to help. Nope they just continued doing their thing. So, when I was done with the gas I pulled over & got the workers attention. His name was Michael, I said thank you for helping those people out & that was sad that not one person helped out. He thought the same thing. So, I'm giving Costco & Michael my 5 stars!! read more

Came here to get gas on a wednesday around 3pm and there was a long line but it went by pretty quick. I would say it's worth it to get gas here because as I have been going every week the price has stayed the same at $3.35 per gallon. Significantly cheaper gas than other stations. The Costco card ends up paying for itself with or without gas so IMO you are stupid to not get the card. I have had though similar experiences to Christine. At all the Costco gas stations they will close right before the official closing time if they aren't busy. I also think it's weird that they aren't open 24 hours. Paying with your Costco American Express is the cheapest way to get gas. I have reviewed all different credit cards that offer gas cash back rates, points, etc, and the cheapest way to go is with the Costco American Express. read more

Can be hectic when gas prices go up or around the time of holiday/holiday weekends. Cheaper than other local gas stations. Also, strangely enough, cheaper than the one in Pacoima, which is much lower income area than Northridge. Weird. Also, line goes quicker than the Pacoima one, so that's good! read more

Gas is 99% cheaper here than most other gas stations. Sometimes its only a few cents cheaper but other times it could be a whole 15 cents cheaper! Depending on when you come, you will either get stuck in long lines or incredibly short lines. I would say it's only worth coming here for gas if your someone in the area. Going out of your way to come here might be kind of pointless since you'll burn more gas and spend more money coming here than really saving money. Gas will always be cheaper then most places but with cheap prices comes long lines. Be warned, lines and be annoyingly long. The only thing I notice bad with Costco gas is that it tends to burn faster then Chevron, 76, or Shell. read more

Best gas prices you will find. Costco gas definitely helps save a few bucks from all the other gas places around. There are pumps on both sides so you basically drive up choose a line and pump you want to go to. I highly suggest if you are a Costco member to get gas here. Only negative are the long lines but what do you expect for the prices they have. You'll be waiting for maybe 10 mins tops. Definitely worth it to save a few bucks every pump. read more

I'm compelled to write this review to thank Michael (a Costco employee) for his professionalism and courteous customer service during an incident that took place last Friday 1/13/2017. As the pump ahead of me became available a guy on the lane to my left cut me off and went into the pump. Though at first it was inconsequential to me, this happened right in front of Michael who asked him to please leave the pump and wait in line again. Not surprisingly, this rushed individual didn't take it too kindly, but he left the pump and allowed me to put gas. I thought this was the end if it, however, once again this individual tried to cut off someone else. read more

This is my neighborhood Costco and never have any issues but today we went for laundry soap and found ourselves in a frenzy / panic / chaotic mess .. because of the corona virus hysteria Costco has capitalized on it .. they have a separate line fir water and toilet paper ... with employees yelling " water line here...water only!!!" It was a scramble just to get to the line cause everyone is so confused on why there is a line for water .. we didn't need water but found ourselves in the line ... we mazed through the line and when we got to the end ... we were only allowed 2 cases per membership ... wow really , you are rationing water to the members?.. I'm aware there is a concern for the latest outbreak but come on this is the US of A ... we have to do better .. not trying to get caught up on the hysteria but I do get thirsty for water ... might have to go old school and drink from the tap... overall Costco is cresting more hysteria instead of keeping people calm and understanding about what's going on in the world...
