In July 2023, I had my 2019 Lexus NX300 tires rotated. The tire center technician damaged my rims around the Lexus logo center of the rim. A claim was written where the tire center took responsibility for the damages but later recanted the claim. Store manager refused to take responsibility for the damages despite having a written document from the Tire Center that the damage was done. For months, I fought this claim and their insurance also denied any wrongdoing. Took it to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs and Costco continues to deny responsibility but was willing to only cut a check for $200. Guilty? I say so! Why cut me a check for only $200 when the damages were $800. Luckily, Chase Bank sided with me and refunded my entire transaction of over $800.00. For my feee tires but still have damages to the rim despite having written proof of the damages. Beware that these technicians are always in a rush and don't take the time to be careful of your rims. My recommendation, have the Tire or Store manager inspect your rims, take a video of the inspection prior to having your tires rotated or new tires slapped on. According to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs, this is a common problem with Costco Tire Centers and Sam's Club centers when they have untrained technicians rushing the jobs or are untrained. Lexus in Temecula stated that they would never allow damages like this to happen to their customers' vehicles...sloppy work according to Lexus. read more

I've only experienced great service. Place seems to get busier and busier. Staff is always smiling, too. Photo center is one of my favorite departments in COSTCO and they always have the best deals on photo gifts. One of my favorite employees who is always energetic and helpful is Jully. Thanks so much, Jully!! Attentive and helpful anytime I've been. It's never a quick trip; I always find something new. I've recently had trouble finding one item though. I needed to find the individually wrapped crepes again. Missing these hazelnut chocolate crepes. The store is fine, except for the self checkout area. The store wants to have a single designated lineI for these registers, but no signage to tell customers that it exists. So while there are people like me who line up appropriately (we have been told by employees in the past), there's always those that walk right past us & walk up to a register without waiting in line. I have brought this issue up to Costco in the past, but nothing has been done. It happened to me again today right when I was next in line. I came to this Costco again today for the third time. I feel like this location may be a bit smaller than other locations but what they do not have in size they make up in customer service. I am still not totally familiar with where things are here but there seems to always be someone around for me to ask for help finding the items I need. I love that! Thank you all for such great customer service. This location is always clean, carts that work seem to always be available, and the food sample vendors are very nice. I came in looking for Agave, an electric ceramic fan heater, and spaghetti noodles. I saw the weighted blankets also but they did not have the California King size (72x84). The queen size was there for $69.00. They have a ton of little girl dress up dresses for $20.00. I don't do Halloween but I will be back after they go on sale for my grands to play dress up. The parking is not spectacular here and I have to drive 45 minutes to get here but that is not their fault. I wish they would create a virtual catalog with what items are in which aisle but that may stop people from impulse shopping. It never hurts to suggest it though The heater I bought is the Lasko elite collection brand whole room electric ceramic heater. Motion heat plus with remote control. Auto electric thermostat. 3 speed heat using 1500 watts of comforting warmth. It blows on upper and lower level with a wide oscillation side to side. 8 hour auto shut off timer. Easy vacuum filter. I am excited. The only thing that worries me is it is only 24 inches tall and it looks like it may have been a return. Praying it works well. read more

NOTE; I am reviewing the Kirkland's Instant Coffee here, not the store itself! The store is just fine. Instant coffee re iew; D I S G U S T I N G. And I mean that. Being a consumer of Instant coffee, I have never tasted any this strange. It doesn't even really taste like coffee or perhaps it's this strange aftertaste? I don't know. All i know is that, if you do drink Instant coffee, you may not want to purchase this brand, Kirkland's, that costo sells. I prefer Nescafe, Instant coffee. I could do Folgers now and then but still, Nescafe tastes the best to me but never again, ever, this Kirkland's brand. So sorry, Costco but this one is a flop. read more

Food court was ridiculous! The wait time for 1 pepperoni pizza was 1 hour!!! All the numbers were out order! All orders were from the kiosk, inside or phone orders, and it was a mess! Went to the pharmacy window today, August 19, 2024 between 2 and 2:30 pm to fill my cat's prescription. Wow! I had no idea that asking for a copy of the script I turned in would have pegged me as a prescription-shopping criminal. The lady taking in my request had to write down "copy" in big letters so I understood I was not to be trusted. Had I known all of that, I would have never taken his prescription there. I honestly did not know that asking for a copy of the script so when I returned to pick it up, I had something to prove I had turned one in, is a major crime at Costco. I'm not sure why the procedure isn't to give the customer some sort of receipt for the script they dropped off. Needless to say, that was the first and last time I will ever do business at Costco's pharmacy window. read more

On a Saturday morning, I tagged along with my family to drive to Corona to visit their Costco and dropped off stuff to a family member. We arrived 11am and located next to Lowe's. It is not a new Costco from the outside. Primary reason to look for Death Star items and only found a few items and sales tax is cheaper than in SGV. The aisles are clean and not too busy although I do see people fill their carts of stuff. I did see Daphne gyro item which I picked up. No self checkout lines and the regular lines are short so waited 10 minutes in line to pay. There was a long line at restroom so I had to wait to use their toilet. read more

Our family shops at Costco Lake Elsinore, CA & we've always been satisfied with this store's service & staff. We've always been loyal Costco customers, not only due to its competitive prices & high quality products. More importantly, we truly appreciate their customer service & post sales assistance. I reconfirmed this when I bought a Gel Fatigue Floor Mat yesterday, 03/04/24, which I inadvertently leff at the bottom of my shopping cart. I only noticed that I did not have the floor mat with me when I unloaded the items I bought. I felt so bad for being so forgetful! But I told myself that I'll return to Costco the next day just in case one of their staff in charge of collecting the shopping carts would find the floor mat & bring it to the store's lost & found. When I went to Costco's customer service counter the following day and showed my Costco receipt from the day prior, I was assisted by Elida. She was very helpful & looked into a log book of items that may have been lost & found. And lo and behold, the floor mat item on my receipt matched the floor mat's bar code that was turned in to customer service. Elida told me to just get another floor mat & return to her so she can clear me at the exit. That was how easy, efficient, & hassle free the process was for me to recover my item! After they left me & other members out in 109 * heat last summer to renew my membership, I've watched for several items I loved at Costco. This store location is dangerous. It's filled with homeless hobos. After one of them killed an employee @ the Walmart I don't feel safe anymore. They offer the same old stuff, poor ordering by store. I walk into Costco pushing a cart and show my membership while in conversation with my two Black active military daughters, I'm Filipino. The lady posted at the front door would have known they were my daughters if she wasn't busy having conversations  of her own - her only job is to check membership cards. She sounded ititated that she had to stop her conversation  to ask my daughters  if they had their membership  card. We kept walking, thinking it wasn't us because we're a family,  but she asked again, obviously not paying attention to the other customers waling in.  We turned around and I said "they're with me" in unison  with my daughters "we're with her".  And she kept her conversation  with the other Costco employee  not asking any other members if they have their card. We went about our business and I used the self check out lanes. I just finished my transaction, and turned to look for my Daughter's and they had brought  some vitamins to me. I proceeded to use my card again, and the man that was posted at the self check out lanes proceeds to tell me "they cannot use your membership" I said "why not, they're my daughters". He looked at us bewildered and kept repeating  "they cannot use your membership" I again said "why not, they're my daughters".  After about the fifth time I said "I am buying vitamins and I am here with my daughters". He then said "oh, ok". I then asked "why is this this store so discriminatory. First the lackadaisical  lady at the front assumed my daughters  just walked in arbitrarily and now you won't let me pay for vitamins that my daughters being over to me? We literally got questioned coming and going." He looked at me with a blank stare and says, "that's not discriminatory". I said "Well what us it then if we're the only ones being questioned?" Clearly I had a point because the 5 other self check out lane attendants stood there not making any eye contact acting like the entire situation isn't happening. I woulda spoken to a manager, but for what, for them to do me like they did in 2020 and not let me in with my front line husband?! I use to get it all the time walking in with with my husband and thought nothing of it, but it just hit different when I encountered  it with my Daughters. Calm down Costco. No one's trying to come in illegally or make unauthorized purchases. And yes, there is such a thing as interracial families. read more

An update to the previous review of the Costco warehouse in Lake Elsinore CA. Costco has a well-earned reputation for efficiency and value for its extensive inventory and services, most of the time, that is. Recently I chose to use Costco for a purchase of new tires for my car, this being my first time doing so. Each time I went to the Costco tire center there was only one lonely employee manning the customer counter that clearly was designed for a two-person operation. There were usually anywhere from three to as many as five tire customers waiting in line to be helped, yet a man named Patrick was left totally alone to work the two-person tire counter. This oversight is clearly on the store management for not monitoring the tire counter and adding additional personnel when a line has formed as you normally see at the checkstands. This deficiency repeated itself each of the three visits I made to the Costco tire center. Although I am generally happy with most aspects of the Costco experience, I advise against using Costco for tires due to the clear mismanagement of the tire center customer service counter. Costco has consequently lost a star from my previous review and it's reputation for value has been diminished. read more

I looked up something he told me I couldn't return, a ring that broke into two pieces but he told me I couldn't return it, said "Sorry nothing we can do". but Costco's Policy says it has a Risk-Free 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on their products, nothing says unless a diamond is missing. If Costco sells me a defective product and it breaks in half obviously a small diamond in the ring is going to go missing. that doesn't void the policy and if it does it needs to state it otherwise don't buy Jewelry at Costco buy it with someone that you can have piece of mind knowing the product isn't defective. read more

As any Costco, this one is always super busy, but compared to other ones in the area, this one is bearable. Customer service has been good and the people that do the samples have always been great as well. The lines are always busy, but they seem to move fast. It's really more on the shopper than the cashier. A lot of the times, they aren't ready or are too distracted. The parking lot is usually busy towards the front. If you want to drive in circles trying to find parking right in front of the entrance, you go on right ahead. There's plenty of parking around and I've never had an issue finding a spot like at some other local Costco's... the Temecula one in Particular. Me and my parents love this Costco here in Lake Elsinore but at the food court we've noticed that a few weeks ago at the food court we've noticed that there was 2 bees in and nearby the soda machines area, and now today 8/31/24 there is now a swarm of bees in and nearby the soda machines area and this is a really bad health hazard to a lot of people and it seems like the employees don't seem to care or they do but today the bees were all the place even on the customers, Costco needs to put this into consideration and to the customers wellbeing's because a lot of people can be allergic to bee stings, Costco needs to call a bee keeper or exterminator to get ride of the bee problems before someone gets stung by a bee. read more

This is a review of Costco Automotive section, not the rest of the store. I can't say enough negative things about this Costco Automotive location. I brought my tire in to get a nail out, waited over two hours, got the tire back. One of the guys offered to jack up the car and quickly replace the spare since it was faster for them than me using just hand tools. I gladly agreed. Pulled my car near the shop, waited another 10 minutes to be told that they changed their mind. They can't do it since I didn't pay for it. What? You JUST OFFERED! I was so frustrated with staff and the time they took to fix the tire that I didn't check they actual tire. I found out at home that the small Honda hub cap was missing and instead of my nice metal cover for the valve stem they attached a bright green plastic one. Don't go there, people, or you will be robbed of your caps (maybe they have a thing for it???). read more

Every-time I go in there he always holds up the line talking way to much to customers. So I asked him to scan them and he said he's too busy. Then realized I was the only one with big items in self checkout so he walked away instead of helping me. Pretty much all Costcos are built the same inside. I only change the stars on the parking and ease of getting in and out. This location has ample parking and it is the same ole same ole goodness inside. RE: the Food Court TO GO PIZZA, it is CASH ONLY at the to go window. How odd, because doesn't the other side take credit(?) Luckily for me, I don't trust banks. :D I would suggest also that you double check your pizzas before you leave. They mixed up one of my pizzas and I'd have rioting kids on my hands if I didn't luckily catch the mix up before I left the window. TIP: You can call ahead for the pizzas to go! If you're planning a kids party or using these as appetizers, you can also ask them to cut the slices smaller. read more
